Chapter 31 - The Iron Wall Crumbles

Chapter 31: The Iron Wall Crumbles

As Damon emerged from the rift back into his own realm, the very earth beneath him groaned in protest. The Lord of Iron had arrived, a towering figure encased in thick, black armor that had supposedly never been dented in centuries of combat. Unlike the reckless Oscar, the Lord of Iron was a veteran of a thousand bloody wars. He didn't just swing his massive mace; he manipulated the fundamental concept of "Hardness," turning the air around him into an impenetrable wall. The pressure he exerted was immense, a physical manifestation of his centuries of experience.

The battle was brutal and far more taxing than Damon had anticipated. When Damon attempted his Calamity Warp, Iron countered by densifying his internal organs to a molecular level, stubbornly resisting the spatial pull that usually ended fights in seconds. For the first time, Damon was forced to push his physical limits to their absolute breaking point. The Lord of Iron's immense experience allowed him to predict Damon's spatial flickers, catching him with a glancing blow that cracked the ground for miles and sent a shockwave through the forest. Blood trickled from Damon's lip, but he adapted mid-fight, his mind working in tandem with the Regulator.

He used the device to calculate the exact resonant frequency of Iron's armor. Combining his Rift power with a focused Calamity strike, Damon finally shattered the "Unbreakable" armor into a million shards. As Iron fell, Damon reached into the dying Lord's essence and stole the [Absolute Density] skill, making his own physical form as indestructible as the man he just defeated. However, Damon didn't just let the Lord of Iron die. He channeled his Sovereign mana to pull the soul back, reviving him not as a mindless puppet, but as a fully sentient, loyal servant bound to Damon's will by an unbreakable metaphysical contract. Standing over the revived warrior, Damon made a cold, echoing statement to the Abyss: "I will never forgive anyone who tries to conquer me or put an end to my goal. If you cross this line, death is only your beginning." He then sent the Lord of Iron back to the other numerous Demon Lords as a living, breathing testament to his absolute authority.
