*Two weeks later*
'Gosh.' Amethyst sighed as Nora, an intern assistant walk close to her.
'I would call you back Nathan.' She said and ends the call before dropping the phone she was holding.
'Calling on duty, don't you know that you need to focus more on your duty? If you know that you would use your entire lifetime on the phone, why don't you just sit at home?' Nora barked at her but Amethyst only sighed.
'she has decided not to waste her entire vacation so she apply to work in one of the company that was close to her house. She would have look forward to a company related to chemicals but her mother wont let her go too far because it is just a short vacation. Instead she advised her to work as an intern in the same company she works at which was the main reason she was here now.
'who gave you the opportunity to bully others?' a voice suddenly distracted them from behind which make the both look toward the place where the voice comes from, only to see Goldie smith, the secretary.
'you are an intern assistant, to help and assist the interns, not to control them anyhow. Everybody has the right to make calls, it is their personal life. If you hold grudges against someone, you better find some other way to vent it.' She said, seriousness all across her face as she glare at Nora who only keep a sneer on her lips.
'seems like this slut has gotten the courage to speak to people anyhow. After giving your body to the C.E.O. so that he can cherish you, do you think I would fear you? You are a worthless whore.' Nora fired back which got Goldie angry that she did not know when her hand flung up in the air and descended toward Nora's cheek but someone held her hand midway, stopping her. He look toward the person and it turn out to be Amethyst.
'don't.' She said, pulling Goldie's hand to the back.
'don't disturb yourself mom, I can handle this.' She added, this time, mentioning the word "mom" as though she has been waiting for an opportunity to let everybody know that Goldie is her mom before.
'tsk tsk' she kissed her teeth and stepped forward, blocking Goldie as though she is a shield.
'you all have been whispering shits about my mom into my ear, why don't you confront me now and see who is the whore here.' She bluffed, confrontation in her eyes.
'you bastard, so she's your mom, you're proud that your mom is a whore, you even tried covering up for her, what would you do? What do you want to do?' she confronted, anger in her eyes.
'you with the manager, yesterday, what are you both doing?' Amethyst asked, a sneer on her lips.
Nora's face drain of all color, shocked down to the spine but she did well in faking innocence, pretending not to understand what Amethyst is saying.
'what nonsense? We are just talking business, what more would a manager and the intern assistant be talking about?'
'pretending not to know? I actually saw it… I did… but I did not saw it alone, my phone too did, do you need me to play it for you? Doing such thing in the office, did you not fear being sacked?' she asked, raising her phone with confrontation in her eyes.
Nora tried snatching the phone but Amethyst outsmarted her and withdrew her hand.
'I could allow you do anything, I have no problem with the shit you're doing with the manager either, but I wont tolerate you slandering my mom.' She concluded, wink her eye at Goldie and walk away while Nora stand there, shamefaced.
'ensure that you're in a blind spot before shooting guns at others, or else the gun would backfire and kill you' Goldie said with a mocking smile just before walking away too.
Other worker's gaze landed on Nora.
'so she is the real whore'. They all murmured.

Amethyst smiles as she empty the can drink she was holding. Though, she had no video of what happened nor saw it, she only guess and still, her guess were right.
When she get to the company the first day, her beautiful face and hour glass figure attract the manager and many other male worker but the manager's own was too obvious and since then, Nora has been looking for a way or the other to get rid of her. That made her realize that there's something between them.
She suddenly raise an idea in her mind and use it which was successful just now. The both were messing around within the company walls.
'ding-ding' her phone rang which distracted her thought. She looked at the caller ID and the smile on her face grew wider. She picked up the call and raise the phone to her ear.
'sorry, I couldn't call you back earlier, I forget…'
'noticed that you're furious, did anything happen?' his voice distracted her which make her sigh.
'that nora again, but my guess is right so I put her in her right place already.' She replied, rolling her eyes.
'does that means she wont talk to my mother-in-law again?' he asked slight playfully while amethyst smiled.
'she is not your mother-in-law yet, don't feel too possessive over me.'
'so… what should I do to make me possessive? Name your condition.'
'um… meet me in the next one minute, I should see your face and also hold your hand.' She said, confidence in her voice.
'you knew that is impossible right?' he sighed while she smiled.
'of course'. She replied, grinning like a day old kid.'
'but.. look behind you'
'why?' she asked.
'just look.' He said while she turn back and look around like a thief who lost something but she found nothing.
'over here.' A voice suddenly rang. Familiar and masculine. She look forward again and there he was, standing with a bouquet of flower in his hand.
'N…you…I…' she stammered, not knowing what to say but instead, he spread out his arms, gesturing for a hug while she quickly ran forward then fall into his arms.
'I miss you'. She sobbed, her hold on him getting tighter.
