Chapter 202 - 202: Birthday

Kyle's decision to personally supervise his subordinates led to some very intense consequences for the crew. Early the next morning, he dragged Eneru and Crocodile out of their warm beds. He took them to a deserted, uninhabited island just outside the Sabaody Archipelago.

"If either of you collapses or tries to run away before the sun goes down, you aren't getting any dinner tonight," Kyle said firmly. After dropping that threat, he walked over to a distant coconut tree, lay down in the shade, and started sipping on some juice.

Eneru and Crocodile looked at each other. Both of them had fire in their eyes. Since they knew they couldn't beat Kyle, they decided to take all their frustration out on each other.

"Raigo!" Eneru shouted, summoning a massive sphere of lightning.

"Sandstorm: Heavy!" Crocodile countered, whipping up a violent desert storm.

For hours, the island was a chaotic mess of thunder, lightning, and swirling sand. Massive rocks flew through the air as if the world were ending. Meanwhile, Kyle managed to fall fast asleep right in the middle of all that noise.

By the time he woke up, the sun was low in the sky. The middle of the island had been completely leveled. Eneru was covered in burns, and Crocodile was buried in sand. They looked like two tired dogs lying in giant craters. They were gasping for breath and couldn't even move a finger.

"Good, it looks like you've used up all your energy," Kyle said as he walked over and clapped his hands. "We're going to do this every single day from now on."

When they heard that, both of them rolled their eyes and nearly fainted on the spot. From that day on, things were much quieter at the villa. Eneru and Crocodile were so tired from the daily training that they fell asleep the moment they got home. They didn't have the energy to fight over territory or even argue. Eneru's dream of building a "Main God Statue" was put on hold for a while.

A month later, it was Kyle's birthday. Kyle didn't really care about birthdays and had only mentioned a date once. However, Karon remembered it and insisted on throwing a big party. The villa was decorated with colorful streamers and lanterns. Almost all the important members of the crew were there, except for Doflamingo, who was away on a mission. Everyone sat at a long table and ate a massive feast made by world-class chefs.

"Lord Kyle, happy birthday," Tesoro said sincerely as he raised his glass. Stella sat next to him and smiled.

"Happy birthday, Boss!" Moriah yelled. He was holding a glass of wine that was bigger than his own head.

Mihawk didn't say anything. He just raised his glass to acknowledge Kyle and took a quiet sip.

"Happy birthday, Kyle," Robin said with a kind smile.

"Happy birthday, Boss," Crocodile added. He actually looked less grumpy than usual as he toasted Kyle.

The peaceful moment didn't last long because Eneru suddenly stood up. He was wearing a fancy, pure white robe and looked like a total showman. He cleared his throat to make sure everyone was looking at him.

"Everyone!" Eneru shouted dramatically. "Today is the anniversary of our great Main God's arrival in this world! This is a sacred day!"

The rest of the crew just stared at him, thinking, Not this again.

"To show how much we respect our Lord, I have prepared a special gift!" Eneru continued. "I, Eneru, the First Apostle, have made something for my master!"

He snapped his fingers. Suddenly, the ground started to shake. A loud sound of heavy machinery came from the backyard. Everyone looked out the window and saw a huge platform rising from the ground. On top of it was a massive object covered by a giant red cloth. It was at least ten meters high and looked like a small mountain.

"What is he doing now?" Tesoro asked with a frown.

"Hehehe, I wonder what that kid made," Moriah laughed.

Kyle raised an eye at Eneru's proud face. He had a very bad feeling about this.

"Now, behold the glory of the Main God!" Eneru shouted. "Unveil it!"

The red cloth was pulled away by an invisible force, and a blinding golden light filled the room. Everyone had to squint. When they finally looked, they were completely speechless.

It was a giant statue made of solid gold. The statue looked like Kyle, but with a lot of extra details. He was wearing golden armor and standing on top of thunderclouds. In his left hand, he held a planet made of diamonds, and in his right, he held a naginata made of black obsidian. Behind him were six pairs of huge platinum wings spread out in a circle. Each feather looked real. The statue had a cold, serious face, looking down as if everyone else were just ants. Its eyes were made of glowing gemstones.

The statue was loud, flashy, and way too expensive. The whole room went silent. Crocodile dropped his cigar, and Moriah stopped laughing. Mihawk's eyes went wide, and Tesoro covered his face with his hands. He could practically hear the money disappearing from his vault. Robin kept smiling, but her lip was twitching.

Kyle was stunned. He stared at the giant, golden version of himself and couldn't find the words to speak. "My goodness..." he finally whispered.

"Lord Main God! I'm glad you like it!" Eneru said, looking very proud. "I worked on this in my free time with Uncle Tom. It took a month and used all the gold I brought from the Sky Island... plus some gold I borrowed from Tesoro. I call it: 'Creator God Kyle'!"

Tesoro almost choked when he heard the part about the borrowed gold. He realized that while Eneru was supposed to be training, he was actually building this giant statue in secret using Tesoro's money.

Kyle ignored Tesoro and walked around the statue. The more he looked at it, the more he liked it. It was incredibly stupid, but it was also hilarious. He decided to have some fun with it.

"Why is everyone just standing there?" Kyle shouted. "Let's party! Bring the wine outside! We're drinking under my statue today!"

The crew started laughing and moving the party to the yard. The birthday bash turned into a wild celebration. A group of the strongest people in the world sat around a gaudy golden statue and drank. Eneru even gave a thirty-minute speech about Kyle "creating the world," though nobody really listened to him.

Late that night, as the party was ending, Kyle took a bottle of wine and jumped onto the head of the golden statue. He sat there, looking out at the lights of the Sabaody Archipelago. He felt very happy. A moment later, Robin appeared next to him. She sat down and hugged her knees.

"You really seem to like this gift," she said.

"Yeah, it's fun," Kyle replied after taking a drink. "It's a bit silly, but it makes me smile."

They sat in silence for a while, looking at the night sky.

"Kyle," Robin said suddenly. "What is your real goal? Do you want to rule the world? Do you want to be like Rocks D. Xebec and become the King of the World?"

She had been wondering about this for a long time because Kyle's actions were always so unpredictable. Kyle laughed and shook his head.

"I don't have any big goals like that," he said. He turned to look at her, and his eyes shone in the moonlight. "I just want to live in a world where I can sleep whenever I want, laugh when I feel like it, and not have to care what anyone else thinks."

He gave her a big, bright smile. "And if a place like that doesn't exist... I'll just build it myself."
