Chapter 148 - YGS [148]

After resolving the issues of factory location and employee recruitment, Luya suddenly found himself with nothing pressing to do. For a moment, he sat down in a chair, wondering how to occupy his time.

Then—he suddenly remembered!

The system had rewarded him with an [Action Duel Stage], which he hadn't yet installed.

Perfect timing.

Now he could finally bring it out and give it a try.

An Action Duel Stage—that sounded fun. Each time, the dueling field would be randomly generated. Moreover, the appearance and effects of Action Cards would differ depending on the terrain.

Installing an Action Duel Stage required about 500 square meters of space, as the arena wasn't fixed in one place during Action Duels. Duelists had to move physically to obtain Action Cards.

Thus, the stronger a duelist's stamina, the more difficult movements they could perform—and the stronger Action Cards they could acquire. Sometimes, a single card could even decide the outcome of an entire duel.

The spectacle was incredible. The rarer and harder an Action Card was to reach, the more powerful its effect would be.

...

So Luya searched for an open space in the shop to install the new Action Duel Stage. He asked Hu Tao, Xingqiu, and Chongyun to help clear the area.

Hu Tao cheerfully called out, "Everyone please make some room we're building something here!!!"

Xingqiu and Chongyun joined in, guiding people farther from the center. Otherwise, when Luya installed the stage, something dangerous might happen.

The customers, upon hearing that Luya was setting up new equipment, all brightened with excitement.

"Whoa!!!"

"Today's incredible!"

"First we got to see the console presentation, and now a new installation?!"

"Totally worth the trip!"

"This area's huge! What kind of device is he building?"

The commotion caught Charlotte's attention, and she quickly came over to see what was happening.

"Installing new equipment?"

To Charlotte, every one of Luya's actions was fascinating beyond measure. She gripped Mr. Whitting tightly, ready to capture every moment.

With Hu Tao, Xingqiu, and Chongyun's help, the clearing went smoothly. Soon, an area of roughly 700 square meters was cleared.

Luya selected the [Action Duel Stage] stored in his system inventory.

[Action Duel Stage]

╵Area required: 500 sq.m.

Because Luya had been so busy lately, he'd nearly forgotten about this item. Now, with nothing else on his schedule, it was the perfect time to entertain everyone with something new.

When he selected the [Action Duel Stage], a holographic projection appeared before him. However, the hologram was red—meaning it couldn't yet be placed.

Luya carefully adjusted its position in his mind.

Finally, the hologram turned green!

He had successfully positioned the stage.

Suddenly!!!

The ground before him began to shake violently—the floor started to rise!

Charlotte immediately lifted Mr. Whitting and began snapping photos of the half-built stage.

Before long, the Action Duel Stage fully took shape—a massive, awe-inspiring structure now stood in the middle of the shop.

Some regulars, who had already seen Luya create structures before, weren't too surprised. But those who hadn't witnessed his powers were absolutely stunned by the sight of a massive arena rising from the floor.

"Wha—AAAAAHHH!!!"

"By the Archons!!"

"What divine power is this?!"

"This is insane!"

"Unbelievable!!!"

"This is beyond mortal skill—only the shopkeeper could do this!"

Luya looked around and noticed that the spectators would have difficulty seeing what happened on the stage. Then, an idea struck him!

He decided to remodel the Action Duel Stage to resemble the grand finals arena from Yu-Gi-Oh!—complete with seating for the audience and massive display screens for live streams.
