An Yan opened his eyes in surprise. Before him was Tsunade's bright, smiling face.
"This is the necklace my grandfather left me. An Yan, you've always dreamed of bringing peace to this chaotic world. I'm entrusting this necklace, along with my grandfather's will, to you. It's also my gift to you for becoming a Jonin. Do you like it?"
An Yan nodded seriously. "I like anything you give me, Tsunade."
Tsunade's necklace was a keepsake from Hashirama Senju. It was said that it could be sold for enough money to buy three mines. And the necklace itself was not simple; it contained the power of Wood Style and had a suppressive effect on Jinchuriki.
In the original timeline, Tsunade would give this necklace to three people. Two of them died, and the third, Naruto, also had several near-death experiences. He wondered if it was related.
An Yan had thought Tsunade would give the necklace to her brother, Nawaki, after he graduated, but she had given it to him instead.
But An Yan was fearless. With his system, a mere death curse was nothing.
Besides, the necklace was very precious. For Tsunade to give it to him meant he held a high place in her heart. This was something to be happy about.
An Yan patted Tsunade's head, took out a small golden bell from his clothes, and handed it to her.

The blush that had faded from Tsunade's face returned. She bit her lip, glanced at him, her face full of charm.
An Yan was momentarily dazed. He smiled at her and formally confessed, "May I live in a certain someone's heart?"
A confession is not a call to charge, but a song of victory.
Tsunade, a girl, had already been so proactive as to kiss him. It was time for him to show his own feelings.
The golden sunset shone on their faces. The boy looked on with anticipation, the girl with shyness.
Tsunade replied bashfully, "A certain someone has already moved in without even taking off his shoes."
In the Senju compound, Mito Uzumaki smiled. In an era without television, an old woman's life was boring. She could only use her Kagura Mind's Eye to watch her granddaughter's romance unfold live every day to pass the time.
"That Tsunade child looks so happy now. I hope she'll be happy forever."
Nawaki, who was playing nearby, heard her murmur, and alarm bells went off in his head.
Oh no! My sister is in love! Some other man is trying to steal her from me!
Nawaki decided to take action, to see what kind of man his sister's boyfriend was and if he could protect her.
After their official confession, An Yan and Tsunade went for a walk, buying small trinkets and enjoying themselves in Konoha's shopping and food street. Then, they ran into some familiar faces.
Koken Uchiha and Akimichi Yone were walking side by side, looking intimate, also out on a stroll. It seemed they were together.
Everyone's growing up, An Yan thought.
But is Shisui Uchiha's mother from the Akimichi clan?
An Yan was a little puzzled.
The two couples met, nodded to each other, and then passed by.
No one wanted their sweet time together to be interrupted.
But sometimes, the thing you want to avoid the most is exactly what happens.
An Yan and Tsunade were holding hands and had just turned a corner when they ran into Jiraiya and Hiruko.
Seeing them holding hands, Jiraiya was shocked.
"Tsunade! An Yan! When did you two get together?"
Nearby, Hiruko crossed his arms and sneered. "An Yan, I knew you were hiding something from me."
"Just now. Do you have a problem with it?"
Tsunade raised her fist, her knuckles cracking, and glared at Jiraiya.
An Yan coughed awkwardly and was about to say something, but Tsunade squeezed his hand and pulled him behind her.
After all these years, everyone knew what Jiraiya was thinking. But she didn't like him, and you can't force feelings. Tsunade could only cut him off cleanly.
Jiraiya's usual cheerful smile was gone. He looked dejected, but he took a deep breath, quickly composed himself, and forced a laugh. "Hahaha, An Yan is a great guy. You have good taste, Tsunade."
"Of course! He's always been great," Tsunade said, tilting her chin up proudly.
Jiraiya laughed loudly, turned around, and waved as he walked away. "I have to go. See you next time."
In the darkness of the night, a tear seemed to fall.
Hiruko sighed and pointed at An Yan. "Love makes you weak. You're the one who told me that, and now you've fallen in love yourself."
An Yan spread his hands helplessly. "Love comes too fast, like a tornado."
Hiruko shook his head with a look of regret. "An Yan, don't let a woman hold you back. If you do, I'll surpass you. You know, I'm a 'roll king' too."
Tsunade waved her fist, annoyed. "What do you mean? Do you think I'll hold him back?"
Hiruko shrugged without a word, waved, and went after Jiraiya.
That heartbroken man needed someone to drink with, and Hiruko didn't mind playing that role.
With Hiruko gone, An Yan felt a sense of relief.
But then, a childish voice suddenly rang out.
"Found you! You're here!"
Flanked by two other kids, Nawaki stood before An Yan, looking aggressive.
"So you're my sister's boyfriend?"
Tsunade facepalmed. "Nawaki, don't cause trouble."
An Yan was trying to figure out how to placate the little kid.
But Nawaki took out a kunai with a serious expression and charged at him.
"If you want to date a woman from the Senju clan, let me see your strength first."
An Yan sighed helplessly, formed a one-handed seal, and bound Nawaki with a genjutsu.
"An Yan! How dare you use genjutsu on my brother?"
Tsunade was furious. She rushed over to check on him. With the Water Talisman and the Yin-Yang Seals, An Yan's spiritual attribute had become terrifyingly high over the years, and his genjutsu was ridiculously strong.
An Yan instantly released the genjutsu and explained, "Don't worry, it's harmless. It just restrained his movements."
Seeing that Nawaki was fine, Tsunade was relieved. She put him down and dragged An Yan away.
Nawaki stood there, stamping his feet in anger. He could faintly hear their conversation.
"Why are you getting so serious with a kid?"
"I was wrong."
