Chapter 136: Travel Back into the Pocket World

Currently seated inside a small Gold Star–ranked flying magical vehicle were Elton, Shayleaf, and Christy, each quietly watching the landscape pass by outside their windows. Moments earlier, they had cleared the checkpoint following a routine inspection by the Bright Brilliant Blade Sect's stationed guards.

"Looks like things have stabilized quite a bit—at least in this region—compared to almost four years ago," Christy remarked, her Aka Boshi no Tengan glowing with a subtle, enchanted crimson hue.

"Yeah, you're right. But… I can still feel the lingering danger here," Elton replied, his gaze wary as he looked outside. Then, turning to Shayleaf, he spoke with concern in his voice. "Shay, how are you holding up?"

"I'm fine, Brother Elly… Ugh… I can manage for now," Shayleaf answered, her face showing signs of discomfort. "If it gets worse, I'll call you right away."

Since they had left the sect, Shayleaf had been continuously suppressing the more volatile side of her vampiric bloodline, struggling to keep it from flaring out of control. Whenever the pressure became too great, Elton would offer her some of his blood and synchronize their cultivation, using Royal Elven magic to help stabilize her condition.

For the next five days, the trio traveled cautiously. Each night, they landed the flying vehicle to rest and avoid drawing attention—especially due to Shayleaf's unstable state. But the deeper they went into the Dimensional Gate's Pocket World, the more intense the latent danger became, and avoiding conflict grew increasingly difficult.

 On the 6th day…

They finally encountered trouble—but given their current power, it was swiftly and efficiently resolved.

—Red Starlight Scatter Shot—

From her palms, Christy released a volley of glowing, crimson-silver energy spheres that shimmered and pulsed as they tore through the charging monsters, vaporizing them in an instant.

"We should probably get moving. This place is too unstable," Elton muttered, observing the aftermath of Christy's devastating spell.

"Hold on a bit, Gege," Christy said, her gaze sharpening. "There are more incoming. I'll handle them before they cause further issues—or try to follow us."

Before Elton could respond, she vanished, streaking into the distance at a blinding speed.

Moments later, the deep roars of magical beasts echoed through the land, followed by thunderous booms. The howls of the monsters quickly turned to pained, desperate wails—and then silence. A few heartbeats later, Christy reappeared, wind brushing through her glowing hair as she nodded confidently.

"All clear, Gege. We can go now before something truly troublesome shows up."

"Good work, Christy," Elton responded, nodding as he gently woke the meditating Shayleaf.

Once Shayleaf regained consciousness, the trio quickly reboarded their magical vehicle. Within moments, they were airborne again—soaring deeper into the mysterious terrain of the Dimensional Gate.

For the next three days, the number of encounters steadily increased. No matter where they went—in the skies, on land, or along the seas—they were constantly being drawn into battles.

At first, it was mostly monstrous beasts and low-level demonic creatures that lacked higher intelligence. But as they pushed deeper into the Dimensional Pocket World, they began encountering more intelligent enemies—even expert cultivators from various races.

Despite the constant danger, the trio easily overpowered their enemies. Their strength at this point was far beyond most threats in the area. Even Shayleaf, perhaps driven by the frustrations building within her bloodline, fought with explosive aggression. Unlike her usual self—who relied more on defensive, support, or summoning magic—she now engaged in brutal, unrelenting offense.

Swriiip!

"—Fanged Elven Magic: Tree Parasitic Plague!"

After tearing through waves of enemies with her now clawed, vampiric nails, Shayleaf began chanting. It was a spell that had once been used by Aeloria years ago during their escape—a devastating fanged elven technique not often used lightly.

A sizable horde had gathered—seven Gold-tier monsters among them, with the strongest being a Gold-tier 2 Demonic Beast.

The moment Shayleaf's chant ended, the battlefield was thrown into chaos.

Hundreds of parasitic wooden leeches erupted from beneath the ground, swarming the enemies with savage precision. The leeches were razor-sharp, dense, and bloodthirsty—drilling through flesh and armor, violently devouring blood and essence. One by one, their foes were skewered, crushed, and drained.

Only the Gold-tier 2 creature managed to survive the initial onslaught by sheer luck—escaping just as the leeches tore through his companions. But his luck ran out just moments later.

CRACK—!

Powerful vines burst out from multiple directions, entangling the demonic beast mid-flight. He screamed and wailed, begging for mercy.

Shayleaf, behind her masked face, gave a cold, merciless smile.

Slowly, she extended her hand… then clenched it into a fist.

The vines tightened, crushing the beast with overwhelming force until his body crumpled under the pressure.

Not a single enemy survived.

Elsewhere on the battlefield, Christy was already handling a second group of lurking ambushers. Her Aka Boshi no Tengan glowed ominously, revealing hidden figures with frightening precision. She tore through them like a storm.

It was a complete massacre.

Elton, watching the carnage from afar, said nothing. He hadn't made any significant moves since they entered the Pocket World again—partly because he hadn't needed to. Christy and Shayleaf handled nearly everything, the latter clearly needing an outlet for the chaotic bloodline energies building within her.

"Alright, girls… looks like everything here's been dealt with," Elton finally spoke, his voice calm. "Let's leave before we draw more trouble."

"Kaaay, Brother Elly!" Shayleaf chirped, slightly back to her usual tone.

"Alright, Gege," Christy added, nodding.

The trio swiftly reboarded their Flying Magical Vehicle and departed.

Despite their best efforts to avoid attention, the level of destruction they left behind made stealth nearly impossible. They had hoped to cover their tracks—but the intensity of the battles and lack of survivors had the opposite effect.

Unbeknownst to them, three individuals managed to survive various encounters—carefully hiding themselves from Christy's terrifying Aka Boshi no Tengan. Those three survivors spread whispers of what they saw:

"Three masked experts… burning through enemies like gods of war."

Their descriptions, vague as they were, all pointed toward one group in particular:

The White Star Radiance.

The rumors spread quickly. And now, forces from every corner of the lands began plotting, calculating how to respond to the sudden reappearance of such fearsome individuals.
