He opened his new laptop. The screen lit up with a search result page still open from earlier.
Images of Silver Fox filled the first row. Marcus Savinus at charity galas. Marcus Savinus shaking hands with politicians. Marcus Savinus in his younger years, standing beside a woman who looked strikingly like Elsey.
Two and a half weeks prior, he had thoroughly scanned and analyzed every detail of the photos.
The restaurant. Why go to a restaurant when he could make himself a feast?
Levi sighed.
Weeks of planning everything out. He had even gone as far as to save the man from danger just to get in his good books.
But the repayment Levi got was a car ride back to the hospital.
