"Korrin Vale has three possible camps," Kim said. Mira spread the map on the table and pointed at the marks. Shannon and Tristan hovered closer.
From his cell, Aiden eyed the maps and pointed at one.
"There's a camp near the old quarry. Vale uses it when he needs to move coin quietly. Man-made tunnels let him slip in and out. If you're quick, you'll find him there—alone, maybe vulnerable. Or maybe not."
"What surprise does the old quarry bring?" Kim asked.
"Lots of holes big enough to swallow a whole wolf," Aiden replied.
Shannon's eyes narrowed. "And you know this because?"
"Because Vale ordered me to dig one," Aiden said, his tone flat, unashamed, almost daring Shannon to doubt him. "I hauled the stones, set the wires. He runs nets through the stone pits—holes deep. He waits for movement, then drops the cages. That's his trick."
Mira crossed her arms. "Too neat again."
