Chapter 196 - Tang Hao Attacks

The results of the competition were announced personally by Emperor Xueye, leaving even Master, despite his dissatisfaction, with no recourse.

And this scene was naturally observed by a burly middle-aged man sitting in the audience not far away.

He was wearing a bulky black robe, his face stern, and his eyes filled with intense anger as he watched Tang San return to the resting area.

"That kid has something strange about him." Tang Hao's eyes narrowed slightly. Then, he stood up abruptly, took a deep look at the people in the VIP seats, and left with a flick of his sleeve.

In the dark night sky, the silver moon hung, casting down a gentle moonlight that draped the earth in a thin silver veil.

Seven Star Academy dormitory, single room.

Lying on the soft bed, Cheng Xiao had his arm under his head, lost in thought.

Beside him, Ah Yin sat anxiously, watching Cheng Xiao, whose eyes were slightly closed and then slowly opened. She was nervous and didn't know how to start.

"I'm not blaming you, so why are you so nervous?" After this had gone on for a while, Cheng Xiao finally spoke, slowly sitting up and teasing Ah Yin, who was lowering her head and looking extremely nervous.

"My King, although you don't blame me, I can still feel the uncontrollable anger from your emotions," Ah Yin said in a low voice, her head lowered and her lips tightly pursed.

"What am I angry about?" Cheng Xiao chuckled, lying down on Ah Yin's soft thighs. He reached out and touched her face, and said with a light laugh, "I have nothing to be angry about. Anyway, as long as I don't die, you won't die either."

"At most, when you are killed, I just need to spend some Soul Power to re-condense you. I'm not angry at all, really."

Ah Yin sighed softly and said, "I don't believe it."

"Heh...don't be so careless next time. You know how much Soul Power it costs to revive you?" Cheng Xiao said helplessly.

"Alright, I won't make things difficult for you. My neck is a little stiff, can you help me massage it?"

Hearing this, Ah Yin's eyes lit up, and she said, "Alright."

"Cheng Xiao, if you don't want to die, get out here!" At that moment, a sudden voice caused Cheng Xiao's face to freeze instantly. Following that, a powerful aura locked onto him.

This voice was directly transmitted to Cheng Xiao's ears through Soul Power, sounding as if someone was speaking right beside him.

"Oh? They're here?" Cracking his neck, Cheng Xiao got off the bed. Then, he reminded the Shadow Soldiers, "Later, except for Nash and Titan, none of you come out."

"As you command, King." The Shadow Soldiers responded.

"King, is... is that Tang Hao?" Ah Yin also sensed an extremely familiar aura, and she asked with some uncertainty.

"Yeah, it's him." Cheng Xiao didn't even look back as he answered. Black light flashed beneath his feet, and his body instantly turned into a shadow, instantly leaving the room and rushing into a forest outside.

Seeing this, Ah Yin stood up in panic. She wanted to follow and see what was happening, but she was surprised to find that her body seemed to be out of her control, unable to move from the spot.

Immediately following, a deep voice echoed in Cheng Xiao's mind, "If you want to come over, wait."

Hearing Cheng Xiao's domineering words, Ah Yin's face showed a look of worry. Of course, this worry wasn't for Tang Hao, but for Cheng Xiao.

Unknowingly, her love for Tang Hao had dissipated with the passage of time. Subconsciously, she had sided with Cheng Xiao, not Tang Hao and his son.

Meanwhile, in the forest outside.

Cheng Xiao slowly landed on the ground, his cold eyes constantly scanning the darkness. Tang Hao's voice had come from here.

"Come out, Tang Hao, I know you're here."

With a cold shout, Cheng Xiao clenched his hand, and immediately, a longsword burning with black flames appeared. The next moment, he swung his arm, and a black flame burst forth, shooting from the sword's edge, directly towards the back of a large tree.

"Boom!"

With an explosion, the large tree shattered. Behind it stood a burly middle-aged man, entirely cloaked in black robes, watching this scene.

Looking at the black figure slowly emerging from behind the tree, Cheng Xiao's eyes held a trace of disdain. He said lightly, "What? Couldn't win against the younger one, so the older one came out to seek revenge?"

Hearing this, the black-robed man sneered, then lifted the hood covering his head, revealing a sleepy-eyed face.

"It seems you understand. Since you hit the younger one, I, the older one, naturally have to seek justice for him." Tang Hao looked at Cheng Xiao with a calm expression and said, "It's you who makes me curious. You, a Soul King in your fifties, have the audacity to be so arrogant in front of a Douluo? Did Dugu Bo teach you that?"

Hearing this, Cheng Xiao fell silent for a moment. He hadn't considered this question. But, was this question even important now?

Seeing Cheng Xiao fall silent, Tang Hao twisted his neck, intending to teach this arrogant young man a lesson. Some people could be fought, but some, if you fought them, you would pay the price.

Suddenly, Cheng Xiao's figure stepped forward fiercely. This sudden movement immediately made Tang Hao tense up. Before he could speak, everything in his vision turned black.

"Hit the younger one, and the older one shows up. Hit the older one, and there's an even older one. You Tang family members are truly endless, aren't you? Is this never going to end?" A black light flashed in his eyes. Looking at Tang Hao, who could strike at any moment, Cheng Xiao directly released his King's Domain, followed by the giant dragon Nash and the Titan.

"I've already shown mercy. Considering the friendship of the past, if it were anyone else, they wouldn't have lived to see today."

To be honest, Cheng Xiao didn't really want to fight Tang Hao, but there was no choice. The knife was already at his throat; if he didn't fight, he would be the one getting hit.

Besides, even if they really fought, Cheng Xiao wasn't afraid of him. The dragon Nash wasn't limited by his own strength, so the power he could exert was completely not weaker than Tang Hao's, and even a bit stronger than this grandson.

And this was also Cheng Xiao's hidden trump card. Except for Dugu Bo, almost no one knew of the existence of the dragon Nash. Those who knew had already become Shadow Soldiers.

"Your reliance is the Shadow Soul Beasts under your command?" Seeing the dragon Nash and Titan in an instant, a sneer appeared at the corner of Tang Hao's mouth. Due to the characteristics of the Shadow Soldiers, Tang Hao didn't recognize Titan right away.

"Since Clear Sky Douluo thinks the soldiers under my command are weak, then why not give it a try?" Cheng Xiao's mouth curved slightly as he said.

The next moment, Cheng Xiao's figure instantly disappeared, and in Tang Hao's hand, a huge Clear Sky Hammer also appeared.

"Let's see, so what?"
