Chapter 295 - 295 Unspoken Coordination

The dark green claws ripped through the air, forming five enormous emerald fangs.

Dokkasō.

Sesshōmaru's unarmed technique, where concentrated demonic poison is unleashed through claw strikes, is capable of instantly dissolving ordinary humans upon impact. Even if one survived the initial strike, the vicious toxins would inflict both slashing and poisoning damage simultaneously.

Out of caution towards Luo Shu, Sesshōmaru immediately employed this treacherous technique.

Facing the air-rending, poison-laden emerald fangs, Luo Shu didn't retreat but instead stepped forward directly into the path of the Dokkasō strike.

Simultaneously, Luo Shu gave the signal as he advanced.

"Now!"

The moment he spoke, a gigantic silver arm emerged from the shadows behind Chisato Nishikigi, drawing an enormous silver greatsword that came slashing down towards Sesshōmaru.

This was Silver's special technique - Silver Sword.

At the same time, from the shadows behind Takina Inoue, a pitch-black steel giant opened its crimson eyes, clenching a fist wreathed in dark radiance as it launched a direct punch at Sesshōmaru.

The black iron fist, nearly large enough to cover half of Sesshōmaru's body, carried a raging torrent of dark gravitational force.

Black Iron's special technique, the Black Fist Strike, possessed the terrifying power to manipulate gravity. Within this dreadful gravitational torrent, enemies would be constantly battered by chaotic gravitational forces, immobilising them and drawing them helplessly towards the black fist—a powerful skill that combines offence and control.

Black Iron restrained with Black Fist Strike while Silver delivered the killing blow with Silver Sword.

As long-time partners, Takina Inoue and Chisato Nishikigi achieved perfect coordination in their first joint use of the Gundams.

In the blink of an eye, Sesshōmaru, who had just descended from his cloud, found himself immobilised by Black Iron's gravitational field, facing the Silver Sword's deadly slash.

The sudden paralysis made Sesshōmaru's pupils contract violently, his attention having been focused solely on Luo Shu until now.

Noticing the danger, Senhime Rin Getsu instantly transformed, becoming a massive wolf-like yokai with a crescent moon mark on its forehead. Gathering her demon power, she lunged towards Sesshōmaru, attempting to pull him from the gravitational field forcibly.

But Luo Shu, having withstood the Dokkasō's damage and absorbed it with Calamity Endowment, was already prepared. He cast a glance at Senhime Rin Getsu.

Calamity Bestowal- Thunderstrike.

The wolf-form Senhime suddenly convulsed in pain as countless electric sparks danced across her body.

Luo Shu had transferred the lightning damage he'd previously received from the troublesome Wolf Demon directly to Senhime.

The momentary electric shock caused a brief stutter in Senhime's movement.

And that instant was all it took for the overconfident Sesshōmaru to completely lose his chance to escape the two Gundams' coordinated assault.

The Black Fist's immense gravitational torrent faintly distorted time, causing it to strike Sesshōmaru first.

The devastating attack, infused with chaotic gravity, triggered Tenseiga at his waist to automatically activate, erecting a barrier to protect its master.

Among the twin blades left by Tōga—Tenseiga and Tessaiga—contingency measures were clearly embedded, designed to emerge at critical moments to save his children.

Yet Tenseiga's barrier was not invincible. Hastily activated, it barely managed to block Black Iron's Black Fist, already reaching its limit.

As the barrier clashed violently with the Black Fist, the concealed Silver Sword behind it swung down mercilessly upon Sesshōmaru.

The colossal silver blade descended.

Sesshōmaru's eyes widened as his body was cleanly severed diagonally from the waist, splitting into two halves.

The speed of this exchange left Jaken, Inuyasha, and Myōga stunned, their vision blurring from the sheer abruptness.

Two massive iron figures appeared behind Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue in an instant. Another blur, and the wolf-like form of Senhime Rin Getsu was left crackling with electricity, her body riddled with wounds.

Then, in yet another blink, Sesshōmaru was split in two!!!

Wait—Sesshōmaru, split in two?

Jaken froze for a second before snapping back to reality with a shrill scream:

"Lord Sesshōmaru!!!"

Jaken urged his cloud forward toward Sesshōmaru, while on the other side, Senhime Rin Getsu—finally regaining control of her body—leapt forward. Her massive wolf jaws clamped onto Sesshōmaru's severed halves, her tail coiling around Jaken, wrapping him up like a jiangshi and nearly crushing him to death.

Witnessing this, Luo Shu turned his gaze, his pupils instantly reflecting Senhime Rin Getsu's figure.

At this critical moment, Senhime Rin Getsu channelled her Demon Power, sending Tenseiga flying toward Luo Shu with a forceful strike.

Startled, Luo Shu reached out to catch Tenseiga mid-air, but then realisation dawned on him. He glanced back at Senhime Rin Getsu.

At the same time, Senhime Rin Getsu met his gaze with a profound look before darting through the mountain ridges at blinding speed, leaving behind afterimages in her wake.

Just then, Chisato—with her exceptional dynamic vision—manoeuvred Silver, delivering a heavy slash toward Senhime Rin Getsu.

Squelch!

A deep gash tore across Senhime Rin Getsu's body, so severe that the white of her bones became visible beneath the wound.

Yet she unleashed her Demon Power in a burst, enduring the damage before shrinking in size and vanishing into the forest with Sesshōmaru and Jaken in tow.

Now unable to see the enemy, Chisato had no choice but to relent.

"To instantly deduce that Silver's attack range is limited to my line of sight... this..."

The SDS had assigned Chisato as Silver's wielder precisely because of its ability—spatial slashes within the user's visual range—which perfectly suited someone with her extraordinary dynamic vision, capable of tracking even the trajectory of sniper bullets.

Had Senhime Rin Getsu not relied on her Demon Dog's instinct for danger and vast combat experience to find an escape route, she and her son might have perished in the Underworld, joining Tōga in death.

Luo Shu approached Chisato and reassured her:

"She is, after all, a Great Yokai of the Dog Tribe. It's only natural she'd have extensive battle experience."

Takina walked over as well, frowning as she added:

"This time, we couldn't kill them with the element of surprise from our abilities. It'll be troublesome to finish them off next time."

"No worries. At least we didn't lose out this time." Luo Shu shook the Tenseiga in his hand with a smile. "After all, we've obtained Tenseiga—a blade that can resurrect the dead once."

Hearing this, Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue were stunned, staring wide-eyed at the sword in Luo Shu's hand:

"A sword that can revive people?"

Luo Shu nodded, then grinned. "Otherwise, why do you think that wolf girl deliberately knocked the sword toward me? She knew I'd catch it."

Seeing this, Chisato blinked and let out a silly chuckle. "Well, in that case, we didn't lose out at all—in fact, we hit the jackpot!"

Clearly, compared to Tessaiga—which Luo Shu had practically earmarked for Inuyasha—Tenseiga, now in their own hands, pleased Chisato far more.

But speaking of Inuyasha, where was he?

At that thought, Chisato turned her head and immediately spotted Inuyasha, staring blankly in the direction where Senhime Rin Getsu had disappeared.

At that moment, Inuyasha muttered dazedly:

"Sesshōmaru... is really dead?"

Myōga, perched on Inuyasha's shoulder, wore a strange and complicated expression as he remarked:

"With Tenseiga snatched away, he's definitely done for."

Clearly, Myōga was well aware of Tenseiga's power and thus understood that Sesshōmaru was truly in dire straits this time.

But to have slain Sesshōmaru and severely wounded Senhime Rin Getsu with just one coordinated strike... Weren't these so-called SDS members a bit too overpowered in combat?

Young Master Inuyasha might really end up as a house dog at this rate...

Meanwhile, Luo Shu gripped his spoils—Tenseiga—and called out to Inuyasha:

"Let's go. Stop spacing out. We still need to retrieve Tessaiga."

"Oh... oh!"

Inuyasha responded dumbly before lowering his head and following Luo Shu's lead.

The group adjusted their course, heading toward the resting place of Tōga's remains.
