Chapter 57 Part 1: Dawn of New Desires

Qianyi glared angrily at the struggling man on the floor.

Gu Ling quickly led Qianyi away.
Only then did I turn back, telling Keke and Shen Li: "Alright, let him go."
Shen Li looked up at me: "But Master~"
I waved my hand: "It's fine."
She hesitated momentarily before carefully releasing the man, but remained vigilant.

I pulled Keke behind me for protection, addressing the man getting up from the floor: "Mr. Zhou, I already gave Su Wan back to you. What are you raging about in my home now?"
He seemed to calm down possibly fearing Shen Li would floor him again making no moves, saying hoarsely: "I can't contact her anymore."
Hearing this, I felt somewhat nervous too. Last time I saw Su Wan, her mental state seemed abnormal she really might do something foolish.
I frowned: "Didn't you check her home?"
He shook his head dejectedly: "She moved out long ago. I don't know where."
"If you don't know, how could I? She never told me hasn't contacted me recently either."
Zhou Ting keenly caught the loophole, looking up at me: "Recently?"
I sighed: "Sit. Pear, get Mr. Zhou some water."
But Shen Li said: "I won't!"

Only then did Shen Li reluctantly head to the kitchen.
Zhou Ting sat down; I did too, with Keke clinging to my arm.
I began: "Last time at the hospital, didn't I contact you to pick her up? What happened between you two?"
He glanced at me, shaking his head: "She broke up with me. That hospital visit was our only meeting since the breakup, but after she woke up, she disappeared again when I wasn't paying attention."
"Broke up?" So Su Wan telling me it was over wasn't a lie but why was Zhou Ting looking for me now?
