"Rion I don't think that I am going to survive in this desert.My body has done a lot of sweating to the extent that my body is now dried up"Fuji said barely able to stand
"Wait I think we're still going to survive. I ram going to check the memories of the soil to about 25 years ago"Rion then felt the soil of the earth to access what it witnessed 25 years ago till now and then removed his hand from the soil
"Some people passed here six months ago, They were riding on camels so they are probably rich, they headed North"Rion replied.
"But that was six months ago.They should have already traveled far by now"Fuji said
"No they are still in this desert.it seems that they travel through the desert to buy goods from a part of this land the another and sell it more expensive there so they are going back to gather more goods now "Rion replied
"So you are trying to say that they may meet us here"Fuji reasoned
"No what I am trying to say is that they will meet us here with that many camels then they will surely be at the range of our field of vision"Rion assured him
"Good grief all we have to do is to just wait for them"Fuji said as he sat down on the hot sand and after a few minutes camels began approaching towards them from different fields of angles
"Rion I guess you was right after all.Althogh I am not a good memory user."Fugi confessed.
The camels reaches them.
"Hey are you lost or something"the Rider said
"We actually came here by our own will looking for greener pastures.we are heading to the village beneath the desert from the south west of the desert.we are heading to the land of prosperity" Rion said
"You ought to know that the village under the desert is just a myth.it so unbelievable that you really believe that there is a village beneath the desert, come on those are kid's stories.Trust me,we rich travelers have tried to find any secret clues that shows the direction of the village beneath the desert but our efforts were futile we even dug this entire desert but still could not find it.The village under the desert is a of paradise and that's why it too good to be true"the rider said
"I refuse to believe that"Rion
"And what proof do you have to say that it isn't a myth?"the rider said.
"That's because I have seen someone who had gone there and that someone was my father.He told me of the wonders of the village"Rion replied
"Fine let's make a deal,if you can't find this so called village that is beneath the desert in two days then you will take all my riches and properties but if you can't find that village,then I will leave you here to die"the rider said revealing his proposal
"I accept your proposal"Rion replied
"Wait the proposal he accepted only applies to him, just because I followed him doesn't mean that I am willing to put my life on the line too"Fuji said
"Alright it doesn't concern you.i just can't wait to see the look on your face when you could not find it "the rider said"your time starts counting tomorrow but for now I am going to provide everything you need after all this the treatment you deserve for putting your life on the line.I will rest here for now"the rider continued
A camp had been set up with the provision of a lantern preparing for the night that I is awaiting them.
Note:just as the way it is very hot in the day time,it is also very cold at night.
"The fuel in this lantern can last us for a day.Plus it is made especially to be able to radiate through our tents"The rider said as he lit up the lantern
"What's your name?"Fuji asked
"Well it's now you're asking"the rider replied
"Our minds were occupied,by the thought of if we will live or.We barely had hope of surviving back then but those are all over"
"My name is Hikaru, Hikaru the merchant"Hikaru said
"As far as you are in the desert you are a nobody"Fuji said
"Hey do you know that you are talking talking to the only one that rescue you like that"Hikaru said demanding respect

"Watch your mouth Fuji because the next time you talk bad about me,I am going to put you in your place"Hikaru
"The truth is that you are too lowly to 100 kilometer far from my place.You just say this because you know you could never reach my place if not, put me in my place instead of just saying you would"Fuji teased

"Stop arguing Fuji don't want to put himself in trouble but some how he just can't avoid it and I know that it's not right for Fuji to say this about you but Fuji parents deserted him when he was seven.His parents told him that he was too weak to be their son and ever since he believed that there is no dignity in the desert"Rion said

"Others camp in the forest so why do we have to do it here let's just head to our tents and sleep since we can't really call it a night out especially since we just meet him"Fuji said
"No this time you are not going to bail yourself out of this one "Rion replied

"Long ago in my village,a wide fire broke out in the forest which spread out to nearby houses so I entered the house and recused the those burned in the fire.The end"Rion said
"You are a pretty bad liar trying to make himself look like a hero.First of all why didn't you or someone call the fire department.Futhermore you said that you entered the house and rescued those that were burnt in the fire, how did you rescue someone that was already burnt by fire.how did you enter the fire without getting burned in the first place and why didn't you rescue the one that were not burnt by the fire"Fuji Questioned
"I agree with Fuji,let's call it a day"Rion said
The blazing Sun was the only sign that tells that it was morning in the desert
"Good morning Hikaru"Rion greeted yawning as he came out of his tent.Hikaru had already prepared some rice balls and fried eggs
"Hey Rion you shouldn't be the one to be waking up late when you made a bet to find the village beneath the desert in the next two days."Fuji said as a greeting
"Right I forgot about it.i will see later"he said as he ran off
"He forgot to eat something before he left"Hikaru said giving a rice ball with a fried egg on it to Fuji
"It's probably used to him,he has not eaten for the past two days now"Fuji replied as he took a bite of the meal.
Rion ran towards the north of the desert and then to the east and west before he could no longer catch his breath and decided to stop and rest a bit.
"I don't even know where to run, This desert seems to have no end and there are no clues to find the village, but still l will never give up .I will keep pushing forward no matter the cost.Fuji then met him
"Yo"
"Yo?,Fuji is this really you?"
"What's up dude l ain't staying in that tent because I ain't doing anything "
"I think your sick"
"I ain't sick bro I'm just feeling the vibes "
"Maybe it's because of the intense heat that is making you behave like that"."Then I guess I will have to take you back to the tent"Rion said as he moves to the tent a Fuji followed him beside.They walked for a few minutes before reaching there
"Rion why did you come back did you forget something?"Fuji said
"Wait what are you doing here, wasn't you at back a moment ago"
"What are you talking about.i am standing right here dummy"
"Fuji attitude didn't change then this is the real him.which mean that..."he said in his mind as he turned to his back to see nobody there
"Guess I was actually the one affected by the heat of the sun.is there any food for me to eat?, I'm starving"
"What is the need of you to eat when you are going to die anyways."
"I have about one and a half days before my time is over right? that's enough time to find the village and besides how hard could it be"
"Suit yourself"
"Rion any lock"Hikaru said as he hits a nail into the edge of the tent to tighten the strength of it
"I won't be here if I had actually see any clues "Rion said "and I think that I will have to rest for a while.and I am really hungry"
"Here"he said throwing a rice ball to him "you forgot to eat your rice ball
"Thanks Hikaru"Rion said eating up his rice ball
"No need to thank me"Hikaru replied
"Now I have to continue me journey"Rion said running off back to where he had stopped his search from.The heat had become too intense for Rion to continue his journey and as he kept moving forward he collapsed on his way.
"Greeting human you have tirelessly walked on the path of seeing the village beneath the desert and I have to say that I admire your courage.you have believed in your father and that belief is what has brought you here.I shall give you strength for overcoming the trials of the desert and for getting here.
Rion gets up from the ground.
"how did I feel so strong already?"Rion asked
"You were strong even at the desert but the desert I created is just a simulation that is connected to your nerves.In order words the heat, stress, exhaustion and hunger that you felt was all in your mind.You see that is my own clan abilities, Nerves manipulation.With this abilities I was able to manipulate the feelings of every living thing and was worshipped like a god but I choose not to be worshipped like a god and created this simulation to hide myself.I revealed this place to a lot of people in the past including your father.This was what gave it the name the village beneath the desert.This was because the desert simulation that I created was 50 centimeters above the village thus the sand and the stones that was on the ground could be actually touched but the feeling of the atmosphere was created by my god like powers.Welcome to the village beneath the desert."
