With Sophia then standing up and heading over to a nearby drawer and taking out more documents out before tossing them to us, "here is a map, and the schedules of your courses so starting next week you two will officially be part of the academy."
As she then starts walking towards the doors and unlocking them, "get up and follow me we are heading to the armory to get you two armored up and for the next four days remaining. You two shpuld familiarize yourselfs with the academy grounds, this place is quite big and we don't want you getting lost now do we?"
While leading us towards another building, she continues. "I recommend that you two should start practicing and getting used to your gears once you two have chosen that they will be. And boy, you being a rare case will attract alot of attention that I cannot block you against from so you better keep your head straight and on a swivel."
Turning to johan with a serious tone while we walk, "you being a man that is capable of equipping metal maiden gear, while you haven't been the first one. The way how you could have became one will send the hounds on you to research and presumably also direct you. So not a word about that, got it? Unless if you can find yourself a good backer I suggest you tell people that... you being twins somehow affected you."
Scratching her head, "while it isn't the best lie it will sound pleasant atleast, since being able to use the gears are all about aptitude and seeing if your body has the capacity to utilize the gears as if its a power suit or like be a part of one's body extension. But I digress, here we are. The armory, you two will be getting your gears here and some classes in this building aswell so remember this place. Let's head in."
Pushing the doors open, as we walk through the armory lobby area. Like the medical building a few girls could be seen inside the lobby either talking to each other, talking to the staff or some maintaining and cleaning their gears. While some girls turning and seeing sophia giving a salute some others could been seen staring at both of me following behind sophia as she heads towards one of the counters.
"Go and get me a room for these two to choose and get fitted with gears." And with a nod the lady in the counter started typing on her computer.
Hearing this, the girls around the lobby could be seen with some shocked and confused faces, since sophia clearly pointed towards to the both of me behind her. Some gossiping could be faintly heard around the lobby.
A little while later, the woman on the counter stands up and heads towards a hallway waiting for us, which sophia following after, "come along you two, time to pick whatever gear you can use."
Nodding before following after her i can't help but think of what it can even use with johan, let alone Anastasia.
'Well hopefully as long as Im not limited to light tank or some wheeled vehicle being able to fight back myself impound still be better than just being... well me... hmm... in hindsight I think being able to both fight for myself and being a commander of a squad might be too much."
After a quick walk the lady opens a door and waves us in before bowing and heading back out. Inside the room there's two other people already waiting for us, one seems to be in a lab coat with long flowing blond hair and the other just seems to be an assistant.
Once the door closes sophia walks up to the lady in the lab coat and shakes her hand, "good to see you make it here Tatania, glad you weren't too busy with your research."
The lady called tatanya shakes her head, "haha, thanks for having me sophia and no no! Im incredibly swamped! But after seeing your report I couldn't helped but be intrigued!" As she then turns to me, "im goingnto assume that these are the two that you want help with?"
Shaking her head and sighing, "yes, I want you to help me for a bit with these two. Anastasia, johan. Meet Dr. Tatiana Tonunts, a fellow researcher like myself. Don't get me wrong but you two are an anomaly right now thanks to that accident, so for the time being your stay here in the academy wil be monitored and recorded just incase something happens to the two of you."
'I see, well that's good I guess.'
Seeing both of me nod, she continues, "not a word of this to anyone still." Before she turns to tatanya, "anyways we'll catch up later when we're free but for now get these to geared up and checked. I still have things to do so I'll leave them in your care."
"Alright, they are in good hands ninya? Go get me their records and test results please." As sophia walls out the room and tatanya asks her assistant to get some things.
Tatanya then motions us to sit while she prepares what seems to be an mix of an operating table and a dentist's chair before turning to ask, "so, i guess this is going to be your first time being fitted. Don't be too nervous think of it like clothes that become a part of your body mentally and spiritually! But you!" As she then points as johan.
"Johan was it? Im more interested in you, because normally men even when checked and tested for their attitudes have never shown any reactions on the tests. And the other male metal maiden were or forcefully experimented on and the like! You are the very first specimen to have an aptitude that let's you use and equip our gears! Albeit only the massproduced ones. But never the less! Im getting exited on getting to know how you work!"
As I get a slight shiver down my spines, 'oh god she is one of those scientists... well.... as long as she isn't as bad as Dr. Portia as shown in the story down the line, I should be fine... I hope.'
With the assistant quickly returning after rummaging through some file cabinets, "here are their records ma'am." As she then quickly gives both of me a small tablet showing a list of equipment before heading back to assist with whatever they are doing on that chair.
