Focalors's voice continued, "Though easy to say, facing death... I'm still afraid!"
Close-up: Focalors's eyes trembled, voice softer: "Perhaps, a rare commonality between gods and humans!"
Camera on Focalors's jade feet, light blue nails, right foot with a gemstone anklet.
Alex hadn't noticed her legs before, only her exquisite face and flat chest. Now, on the phone, he felt an impulse.
But a bad premonition overwhelmed him.
"Goodbye, Neuvillette ~" Focalors tilted her head, smiling: "I hope you enjoyed your part in this play for five hundred years ~"
Focalors beside Alex watched the screen intently.
"Ah ~" Neuvillette's emotions were complex, speechless.
Focalors turned, letting go with a soft "Mm ~." Background music swelled.
"Dang ↑ ~ Dang ↓ ~! Dangdang ~~~"
Spotlight on Focalors, dancing with a rainbow halo. Her hair swayed, hands alternated gracefully, legs crossed in light leaps, like a forest spirit.
"Dangdangdang, dangdangdang, dangdang ↓"
Focalors beside Alex gasped: "Oh ~! The music's beautiful!"
Scene shifted: Furina on a dark stage, dancing in sync with Focalors.
"Ah ah ah ah ↑ ~ Oh oh oh oh ↓ ~ Ah ah ah ~ Ah ↓ ~~~~~~~~~"
Focalors ended, legs crossed, arms spread, half-crouched. The dance stopped.
The greatsword above halted, its crescent blade glowing eerily, then fell rapidly!
Focalors held her curtain call pose.
On the bench, Focalors's eyes sparkled, fearless, excited for what came next.
But the video froze.
"?" Focalors glanced at Alex: "Why'd it stop?"
"Good thing I paused!" Alex wiped sweat, shaken by the minute.
"Pause?" Focalors tapped the screen.
"Oi!" Alex gasped as it resumed.
Focalors sighed, learning to pause and play.
Neuvillette reached out, but the screen blackened. Furina's blue hat fell, rolling alone in the light, its owner gone.
"Mm ~" Focalors sounded satisfied, as if not beheaded.
What judgment would Neuvillette make?
Focalors vanished, blue water bubbles spreading. Neuvillette took one.
A greatsword stood, proclaiming a god's demise.
Focalors beamed: "Look ~ The ancient dragon's authority returned! Neuvillette's a complete Dragon!"
"Uh..." Alex's sadness surged, Hydro gathering in his eyes.
Scene shifted: a water bubble reached a dark stage. Furina sat alone on a red throne, head bowed, tears swirling in her eyes.
Screen blackened, Teyvat text appeared:
[You've worked hard, Furina!]
New text:
[Please live happily as a human, as I envisioned.]
"Wuwuwu!!!" Alex sobbed, "I'm broken, brothers!"
Great storyline, better than the 12+ one, but heartbreaking!
Focalors patted Alex's back, stroking his head: "It's okay, good baby, don't cry. I'm here, fine!"
Her comfort made Alex cry louder.
"Oh ~, look!" Focalors pointed. Neuvillette flew from the Opera House, blue light wings behind him.
Fontaine's rain poured. Neuvillette, immersed in sadness, couldn't forget.
