Chapter 97 - Chapter 97 — The Red Sun Rises: Wealth and Power Unleashed

"President!"

"How's the lineup for the shows?"

"We've prepared several programs, but… there aren't enough staff to keep things running. If we try to expand, the station will collapse. Right now, we can barely sustain a few programs."

Inside Red Sun Town, Naruto sat behind his desk, fingers tapping rhythmically as Karin stood before him, clutching her notes.

He frowned for a moment, then grinned that familiar, confident grin.

"It's fine. Every new station starts small. We'll broadcast what we have tomorrow. Once people see it, the entire ninja world will know the name Red Sun TV."

He pointed toward the wall, already imagining the logo in bold colors.

"Make sure the station emblem is perfect—clean, eye-catching, and bold. Blue waves cradling a red sun. It has to shine."

"Yes, President!" Karin nodded eagerly.

Naruto leaned forward. "And about the lack of shows—don't worry. I've got an idea that'll solve that problem instantly."

Her eyes lit up. "What kind of idea?"

Naruto smirked. "The Chūnin Exams are coming up, right? Everyone's talking about it. You'll grab a cameraman, head straight to Konoha, and start doing interviews. Ask people from every walk of life what they think about the exams—students, merchants, shinobi, even drunks in the street."

"Keep the questions casual and funny. Then edit the best reactions together and air them as short segments."

Karin's expression shifted from confusion to revelation. "That's brilliant, President! We'll launch it as an original program from Red Sun TV!"

"Exactly," Naruto said, folding his arms proudly. "We'll wear Red Sun uniforms and make our debut in the ninja world—not as warriors, but as broadcasters."

Later that evening in Konoha, Naruto held Hinata's hand and practically dragged her down the street.

"Na-Naruto-kun, what's the rush?" she stammered.

He grinned over his shoulder. "You'll see. I've got something special to show you."

Hinata's cheeks flushed, her heart fluttering as they reached Naruto's home. It was her first time stepping inside.

Naruto opened the door proudly. "Come in!"

The moment she stepped in, Hinata blinked in surprise.

"It's… so clean."

The place gleamed from top to bottom—no clutter, no dust, everything neatly arranged.

She had secretly hoped to help him clean, maybe act a little like a wife for once. But this? This was spotless.

Naruto laughed, completely missing her thoughts. "You can thank the Second Hokage for that one. Shadow Clones make cleaning way too easy. A hundred of me, and this place is spotless in minutes."

Hinata smiled softly. "You're amazing, Naruto-kun."

He grinned wider. "You haven't seen anything yet."

He guided her to the sofa and turned toward a huge black TV screen on the cabinet.

"Wow," Hinata gasped. "It's enormous—three times bigger than the one at home!"

"Custom made," Naruto said proudly. "Special order straight from the manufacturer. Perks of being the Red Sun Society's president."

Hinata's eyes sparkled. "Naruto-kun, you're really incredible…"

Her admiration made his chest swell.

"Hinata," he whispered, suddenly lowering his voice. "I'm going to tell you a secret—don't tell anyone, okay?"

She leaned closer. "What secret?"

Naruto pressed a button.

The TV flickered to life—static cleared—and a breathtaking image appeared: a dark, endless sea, rippling under faint twilight.

Then slowly, the darkness lifted.

A crimson sun rose from the horizon, painting the water in molten gold. Waves shimmered, glinting like thousands of golden scales.

The image drew inward, transforming into an emblem—a blue wave holding a red sun, bold letters forming beneath it:

RED SUN TV

Hinata's mouth fell open.

"This TV station," Naruto said, his voice proud but gentle, "is mine. From now on, the whole ninja world will be able to watch our programs, listen to music, and see the truth of the world—on Red Sun TV."

"W-wow…" Hinata breathed. "Naruto-kun, that's… that's incredible!"

Naruto chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck, pretending to be modest—but his grin was unstoppable.

She didn't fully understand what a TV station was, but her pure admiration made him feel ten feet tall.

The screen shifted again.

"Good afternoon, viewers!" a young man greeted cheerfully. "You're watching Red Sun TV News. I'm your host, Donglin. As our first ever broadcast, we've prepared something special—a documentary titled 'The Past and Present of the Ninja World.' Please enjoy."

The scene faded into an elegant montage—ancient battlefields, the rise of the great clans, and the founding of the hidden villages.

"The ninja world," Donglin narrated steadily, "was once a land of endless chaos. Wars raged between tribes, and the rivers ran red with blood. Then came two men—Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara—who joined hands to build peace…"

Hinata's eyes widened. It was mesmerizing.

It was her first time watching something like this—educational, historical, but alive.

Naruto watched her expression and grinned in satisfaction.

The Red Sun Society had gathered data and records for years, but this was the first time the truth of the ninja world's past had been shown directly to the people.

All across the lands—Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Lightning—people stopped what they were doing to watch.

Villagers huddled in tea shops and living rooms, eyes glued to the glowing screen.

The Red Sun logo burned into their minds—blue waves, red sun.

It was fresh, powerful, and unlike anything the ninja world had ever seen.

Days passed.

The Red Sun TV Station became a phenomenon overnight.

Every afternoon, crowds gathered around shop windows displaying TVs, eager to catch the latest broadcast.

Those who couldn't afford one begged, borrowed, or stole moments to watch.

Those with money flooded stores, tossing ryo onto counters.

"Give me that one—no, the big one! Hurry!"

Stores couldn't restock fast enough.

TV factories tripled production. The waiting list stretched for months.

And every new set sold meant more power—and more money—for the Red Sun Society.

Yakushi Kabuto practically glowed with delight, his grin stretching from ear to ear.

"The president is a genius," he muttered to himself. "A simple TV station, no advertising, no marketing—and he turned it into a gold mine. If we ever start selling ad space…"

He chuckled, shaking his head in disbelief. "We'll dominate the market."

He glanced at the sales report—millions flowing in, contracts piling up, entire production chains under their control.

"The president said he'd make me the richest man in the ninja world," Kabuto whispered. "At this rate… he might actually do it."

His eyes gleamed with awe and loyalty.

The Red Sun had risen—

and with it, Uzumaki Naruto's influence now reached far beyond the battlefield.

He had conquered hearts, minds…

and soon—every screen in the ninja world.
