"But his decision is a little surprising. I didn't expect him to ask you to marry him. I thought he was the type that loved freedom.'' Even though Edith knew Adam was a nice person, she still didn't expect him to make the difficult decision of getting married for the sake of the child. She was quite impressed with him and was certain that he could make Sabrina happy.
With Adam, Edith could be rest assured that Sabrina wouldn't be bullied or suffer in the marriage.
"Bestie, help me come out with reasons why the marriage won't work. I need to be prepared before I meet him today.'' Sabrina picked a pen and a notepad.
"Sab, you always wanted a family of your own because, your sisters are happily married. I don't think Adam is that bad. He is gentle, kind and doesn't seem to hate you. Maybe you are just being worried for nothing. What if this marriage actually works out for both of you?''
