Chapter 152 - Another Artificial Intelligence

Jill was so obedient mostly because she had gotten used to it in the Resident Evil world. She'd resisted at first, but habits, once formed, were a terrifying thing.

In her opinion, April was definitely not escaping someone's clutches and would have to be honest with him sooner or later, so there was no point in pretending to be reserved in front of him.

Her easygoing attitude made April, who was standing beside her, instantly restless and she bounced off.

"When are you going to take her? I don't want to help you do this next time!" Jill asked, raising her head.

"Don't worry, this kind of thing depends on the mood, otherwise, it won't be fun!"

"Bah!" Jill spat, disgusted. Why didn't he talk about mood back in the Resident Evil world? Now that he was in his own world, he started acting like a big bad wolf.

However, she could also understand Li Qingyuan's thoughts. After all, this was the world he grew up in, and naturally, he couldn't just do whatever he wanted.

Leaving aside the two people currently exercising and the Black Bald Man being held accountable at the Pentagon, let's focus on Tony Stark, who is still lying in a luxurious intensive care unit.

Last night's battle with the Iron Monger almost ended with Obadiah beating the crap out of Tony. If they hadn't chosen to fight near Li Qingyuan, the Iron Man might not have survived!

"Mr. Stark, if you're doing alright, I'll take my leave," Phil Coulson asked Tony, who was lying in bed, acting like a personal butler.

"Thank you all this time. Take this check; consider it a donation." Although Tony Stark had a bad temper and a foul mouth, he was definitely a person who repaid kindness and sought revenge for grievances. If the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents hadn't helped him hold out for a while yesterday, he definitely wouldn't have lasted until Jarvis woke him up.

However, even though the other side had saved him, Tony didn't feel much gratitude towards S.H.I.E.L.D.

He was Tony Stark, who paid tens of billions of dollars in taxes to the federal government every year, and hundreds of thousands of people depended on his company to eat!

Therefore, when he encountered danger, government agents were supposed to protect him and risk their lives.

This might seem incredible to others, but for Tony, who had been the sole legal heir of Stark Industries since childhood, it was simply a matter of course.

Of course, since the other party had saved him, he couldn't be too stingy. He'd toss them some money as a thank you!

As for which intelligence agency Coulson came from?

Tony couldn't be bothered to ask. Regardless of the department, they were just servants to someone like him, a top-tier tycoon.

"Then, on behalf of my colleagues, I thank Mr. Stark!" Coulson originally disliked Tony's arrogant attitude. If possible, he wouldn't even want the so-called donation.

But when he saw the amount on the check, Coulson was instantly stunned!

Eight zeros?

Excuse me, never mind.

Coulson immediately swallowed the words he had prepared, and thanked him with a big smile.

If he dared refuse such a large donation, the director back at S.H.I.E.L.D. would eat him alive.

"You don't seem to like him?" Pepper Potts asked, a bit puzzled, watching Phil Coulson leave the room with the check.

"I've always hated dealing with agents!" Tony raised his hand and grabbed at Potts' chest.

"Tony, you're still injured!" Potts chided, slightly displeased.

"It's okay, I'm basically recovered now." Tony moved his body slightly, then let his hand slide down.

"Tony, the doctor said you need to rest for these few days. I think you should rest first!" Potts stood up in a hurry and fled the hospital room.

She was afraid that if she stayed here any longer, something bad would happen.

After all, the doctor had said that Tony's current physical condition absolutely couldn't handle strenuous exercise, not even lying down!

"Jarvis, report on yesterday's events!" Seeing Potts run out unsteadily, Tony Stark finally ordered the Artificial Intelligence in the air.

"Alright, sir!"

Jarvis instantly projected a virtual electronic screen in front of Tony.

"The most dangerous moment yesterday was here!"

The virtual electronic screen immediately jumped to a scene, showing Iron Monger with eight missiles popping out of its arms, aimed directly at Iron Man, who was lying on the ground.

"I was unconscious at the time, right?" Even though he already knew what had happened, seeing this scene still sent a chill down Tony's spine.

"Yes, you were in a state of unconsciousness, and the armor's defense had dropped to forty-three percent. If attacked, there was a ninety-nine percent probability of death on the spot."

"I already know. No need to repeat it." Tony waved his hand weakly. Jarvis, are you trying to get yourself killed?

"The signal that suddenly joined the battle, it looked like this!" The display in front of Tony immediately changed, turning into a bunch of gibberish symbols.

However, as the smartest person in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Tony Stark immediately saw the significance of these symbols.

"This is? Another Artificial Intelligence?"

The Red Queen had been very careful when she invaded the Iron Monger's central computer yesterday, but she inevitably left traces when facing Jarvis, who was at a similar level.

There was no help for it; even if the two were at about the same level, Jarvis was just better equipped!

The Red Queen was still using Li Qingyuan's personal computer because the personal supercomputer hadn't arrived yet, so it could only use an ordinary home computer to temporarily serve as its calculation library.

Meanwhile, Jarvis had the entire Stark Industries backing him. Four floors of the Stark Tower were specifically dedicated to storing Jarvis's database. The difference between the two was like a heavily funded player versus a free-to-play player.

Even if the free-to-play player had good skills, fast hands, and strong combat awareness, they couldn't compare to the heavily funded player.

"I don't know what it is, but I feel a sense of familiarity!" Jarvis rarely voiced his own opinion.

As the only Artificial Intelligence on Earth, Jarvis didn't know what kind of greeting to use when he suddenly encountered his own kind.

It was just a computer without emotions, and things like emotions were still too foreign to it.

"Someone actually managed to create an Artificial Intelligence? Interesting!" Tony Stark looked at the symbols in front of him and smiled slightly.

He was always arrogant and aloof. Besides his terrible personality, a large part of the reason was that he felt those ordinary people couldn't communicate with him at all.

Now that he learned that someone else could also create an Artificial Intelligence, his interest was immediately piqued.
