Charles's POV
My daily routine had become predictable—I'd cycle through gaming marathons until the early hours, satisfy my hunger with late-night snacks, then sleep in until noon the following day.
About a year earlier, I'd finally abandoned my pursuit of acting roles. The harsh reality had settled in: without the right connections, I'd never land anything meaningful.
I possessed all the qualities of a leading man—striking looks, natural magnetism, and genuine talent. Yet coveted roles consistently slipped through my fingers, claimed by younger actors or those with powerful industry backing, leaving me no opportunity to showcase my abilities.
My grip tightened on the controller as frustration boiled over. "Those entitled industry brats are stealing every decent part," I snarled, jabbing the buttons aggressively. "All I get are throwaway supporting roles or two-episode cameos that nobody remembers."
