After Ito's speech, I put my head on my desk because I needed a nap but the cause of my lack of sleep came to disturb me.
"Eiya?"
"..."
"Why are you pretending to sleep?"
Pretending is a stretch, I'm more or less almost about to sleep.
Also, don't you go to the cafeteria by now?
"Eiya if you don't wake up, I'll have to use force," Aiya's voice turned suddenly cold; she wasn't joking.
Force? What does she mean by that? She must be joking, right?
Before I could say or do anything, I had to accept my 'punishment.' She started breathing into my ear.
It felt kind of weird but also good, it was then I realized what it was.
Oh, so this is ASMR.
ASMR—or "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response" typically refers to the "tingly feeling" that travels from the head downward that some experience in response to certain sounds, feelings, or descriptions.
These could include soft whispering, crinkling paper, or a gentle touch.
I watched a video that explained what it was but I was kinda skeptical that a simple sensation could make me feel a supposed "tingly feeling."
Well, I was skeptical until now.
It feels so amazing!!!
I was genuinely surprised that it felt good, one could say I felt too good.
I reacted to her ASMR and of course, now my cover was blown.
I moved slightly when she blew into my ear.
Shit.
"Are you still gonna pretend?" she asked.
"…Fine, I'm awake."
"Why'd you even pretend in the first place?"
"Because I was actually trying to sleep."
"But aren't you going to the cafeteria? I mean, aren't you hungry?"
I'm actually kind of hungry but I can more or less get past it, it really isn't that big of a deal.
"I'm sleepier than I am hungry, and I eat in class normally, though I forgot to pack food today. Moreover, I think if I go to the cafeteria, I might fall asleep on the way there."
"Fu fu fu," Aiya laughed. "Is that right?"
That isn't a joke, I'm that tired. Though it is kind of my fault that I forgot to pack lunch today.
"Yes, it is."
"I see... then it's good that your amazing girlfriend packed lunch."
"Hmm? But didn't you normally eat with your friends?"
"Yeah, but I wanted some alone time."
"But we go on dates. I don't wanna restrict you from meeting your friends."
Before they restrict me from living.
"Yeah, but more is better than less, right?"
The way she said it made it seem like she was lying so I tried to push a bit more.
"You wanna eat together because you want to spend more time. Is that all?"
"Well…"
Stare. Stare. Stare.
I stared intensely at Aiya till she felt guilty and eventually she spilled what she was hiding.
"Fine, I'll spill," she said. "I actually knew that you had lunch by yourself so I thought I would cook for you but yesterday I forgot to tell you to not pack lunch."
"Huh? How'd you know?"
"You remember that time that Kagura was in class with you."
Aiya's words brought a very unwelcome memory, I hadn't forgotten it but didn't want to address it so I kept silent.
Aiya must have noticed because she immediately tried to comfort me.
"Don't worry Eiya, you're number 1 in my book."
She was referring to when Kagura revealed to me that I was ranked 41st in class's ikemen and 3rd for cutest, and frankly the first part didn't even make sense.
There were 50 students in my class and only 25 were boys. Also, I could say I was more handsome than at least a handful of them.
I mean I was at least more handsome than the pervert duo, or at least that was what I believed.
"Aiya, I have a question."
"Sure, go on."
"How am I ranked 41st for ikemen when there are only 25 boys?"
"Well…There are some girls who are more of an ikemen than you."
An arrow–Arrow 1–struck my heart and I desperately tried to defend myself perhaps because my masculinity was being tested.
"Huh? But–"
"It's more than looks, moreover, it's not just looks it's also character and frankly Eiya, you act a bit plain in class."
Arrow 2 also came not too long from arrow 1.
"And you lack charisma."
"..."
And arrow 3 came. The thing was that Aiya wasn't wrong about anything, and that was why it hurt.
I suppose I did a great job.
I wanted to smile but it would have been weird so I simply bowed my head.
"Uh Eiya, are you ok? Perhaps, I took it too far, I apologise."
"Nah, it's fine, really."
"Though I heard you also asked if there was a girl's list. Why'd you ask that? I don't suppose there's a girl that you're…interested in," Aiya expression darkened.
I realised a long time ago that Aiya was a really jealous person. Our first conversation as a couple involved her asking about my female friends.
She remained somewhat jealous for the rest of the day, especially when I left to meet someone.
Perhaps that was another reason why she wanted to have lunch together.
I first found it weird that she was that jealous but said nothing about it because it was possible it was only weird to me so I just didn't think much about it anymore.
"Huh? Nope, I was simply just curious."
Aiya stared deeply at me; her eyes were narrowed, clearly trying to see if I would lie.
"Alright then," her expression brightened significantly. "Back to lunch, so are we eating or what?"
"Are you sure you wanna share with me? Is the food enough for both of us?"
"Yeah, it is," she said, bringing it out of her bag—it was honestly a lot of food. Well, she did plan to eat with me but that was way too much.
"That's a lot."
"Y-Yeah? Well, I'm a big eater," she said. "Anyway, say 'ahh'."
"Huh? Do you want to feed me?"
"Yeah, you don't wanna?"
It's a little bit too much but might as well just do it.
"No, it's fine. Ahh."
I felt as if I had regressed to the time that I was a baby, though I didn't have any memories from that time.
My oldest memory is when I was 3, after Ayato—
"S-S-So is it delicious?" Aiya asked nervously.
While it would have been fun to tease her, I considered against it especially after her hard work.
"Yeah, it's really nice."
"Oh, really what do you like about it?"
"I like the sauce, it's really spicy."
"Oh, you like spicy food?"
"Well, kinda."
Not really but the sauce does taste really nice but dial down on the heat.
"Since you like the heat, I guess I could prepare it for you again—maybe I'll make it a little hotter," she said barely above a whisper.
"N-Nah, you don't have to," I said nervously.
Please don't.
The day went uneventfully after that, then after school I was about to go with Aiya when some people came to my table—people both from my class and not from my class.
"Are you Nakamura Eiya?"
"…Yeah?"
"Come with us."
"Huh? What's—" Aiya said.
"Don't worry Aiya, I'll meet you at the front of the school," I cut her off.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah."
I confidently left with the people—of course, that was a show, as we left the class I was quaking in my boots.
These people seemed to want to bully, and I couldn't do anything. I vaguely considered running but knew I couldn't outrun them because of how slow I was.
"Where are we going?" I asked.
"…" No response.
Their matter-of-fact expressions and silence didn't make me feel better; in fact, it made me feel worse.
We eventually arrived at the back of the school—it seemed they actually did want to beat me up.
Nothing I can do about it now, huh? Might as well get ready.
I gritted my teeth as they gathered round me and—
Got on their knees.
"Huh?"
"Nakamura, could you teach us how to get girls?"
"Huh?!"
I was completely and utterly surprised, I had already prepared my mind to get beat up but now I was given a request.
"You managed to date Suzuki, one of the most beautiful girls, and well y'know, we wanna know your techniques."
"My techniques, huh? I don't have anything special in fact—"
I wanted to say it was Aiya that asked me out but I changed my mind.
"Anyway, I didn't do anything special."
"Anything you tell us is fine."
"Well, how about this? Let me go use the toilet and when I come back I'll tell you everything."
"Sure," they said excitedly.
Luckily, they weren't like the boys who chased me when they knew I went on a date with Aiya so I presumed they would let me just leave.
Not that those guys were actively chasing me. After I ran away on that day the first group (That is the boys who chased me because they wanted to know how I managed to go on a date with Aiya) didn't approach me again.
Thank goodness that those guys also stopped chasing me.
Perhaps they realised they could ask someone else considering I wasn't the first boy that Aiya went on a date with.
I ran full throttle to the school gate, then I and Aiya walked back to the dorms.
As we were walking, I looked over at Aiya's hands and grabbed it unexpectedly.
"Uep," Aiya made a cute sound, she was shocked at what I did but didn't say a word after all, we did this a lot on dates except for on the double date.
We didn't hold hands during our double date because it would have been a bit embarrassing.
Of course, we didn't tell each other this and I was just speculating.
We walked peacefully to the dorms, and we reached the lobby. It was time to bid farewell.
"Eiya?"
"Yeah?"
"You know how we're studying and all, can I come over?"
"Uh, sure."
"R-Really? I'll call you when I come."
I went to my room and got ready—I cleaned up the little dirt I had, made tea, and got all my study materials.
I sat in wait until I heard the sound of my doorbell.
"H-Hey," I opened up.
"What's up?" she walked in. "Your room is really…mature."
I understood what she was trying to say—I had no extra stuff than the basics.
"Are you a minimalist?"
"You could say so."
"Oh wow, I'm actually the complete opposite. My room is pink themed and really vibrant."
"I'd like to see it someday."
"You can see it anytime you like," she said barely above a whisper.
"Ahem," I coughed. "Let's begin the lesson."
"Yeah. Oh, I almost forgot, could you give me a sec? I wanna use the bathroom."
"Sure, go on ahead."
She went to the bathroom with her bag, I wondered why but didn't ask.
I started to study a bit since she went to use the bathroom, I was deeply focused until—
"Eiya, turn around."
"Huh? Uh, Sure," I turned around and saw something unbelievably cute.
"So, you ready to study?"
Aiya wore an office suit with a pencil skirt and black leggings—she looked similar to Jackson-sensei.
Needless to say, she looked sexy. So sexy that I couldn't even utter a word.
"Eiya?"
"Huh? Y-Y-Yeah, I'm ready."
We sat down on the couch, and I brought a table over.
"Ok, now before we begin, I want you to get one thing straight. While I love you, I won't go easy on you as we study," Aiya said.
Go easy on me? What does she mean by that?
"Also, you are to strictly follow my orders and to call me Aiya-sama, okay?"
"That's a bit—"
"Say it," she said, her tone rigid.
"A-Aiya-sama."
"Good, now let's begin."
And so we began, it was quite a class—Aiya taught me like a teacher would.
Correcting my every mistake.
"You didn't solve this well," she said.
Teaching me complex concepts.
"…And that's how you do it."
Punishing me when I did wrong.
"Bad boy," she hit me.
It was basically just like class, except the last point I mentioned. No teacher had ever punished me or any student for that manner.
At any rate, we continued our 'study session' for quite a while—starting from 4 PM and finishing by 9 PM.
"That was something, huh?" Aiya said coming out of the bathroom, she had just changed from her study attire.
"Yeah, it was."
"Anyway, it's pretty late so see you tomorrow. Also, I'll still call you by 11 PM, kay?"
"Yeah but don't you want—"
"Good night," she left.
It seemed she was still shy at what she did while we were studying though I doubted she would stop doing it.
"Anyway, I might as well just take a bath."
I was about to, but Aiya entered my room again, then with a shy look asked for something.
"C-Could I have a hug?"
"Huh?" I was pleasantly surprised.
"O-O-Only if you want."
"Y-Yeah, I want to."
"Really?" she ran over to give me one but slipped and fell on me.
While on me I felt something soft, well, not only soft—it had a unique texture. It was large and kinda bouncy.
"Eugmm," Aiya made some weird sounds and then I realized what I was holding. I was holding her breasts. "Please, stop!"
"I'm so sorry," I said, letting go of them.
"N-No, it's fine," she said, getting up from me. "A-Anyway, bye," she glanced at something on the floor and left.
As she left, I realized that she was staring at my crotch, so I happened to pitch a tent.
"Heugh," I sighed. "Way to weird out your girlfriend."
I was about to go and bathe but Aiya entered my room again—she forgot something.
"Sorry to bother you again, I forgot my phone."
"No, it's fine."
"Good night, Eiya."
"Good night, Aiya."
With that, I could finally take a bath, I made dinner and just lay on my bed looking at the ceiling.
I wonder how I'll deal with those guys at school tomorrow, I mean it's not like I was the one who asked Aiya out.
Ughhhh!!!
Tomorrow will be a drag but anyway, why does Aiya even love me?
Despite how much I think about it, I can't understand why she asked me out.
I really wonder why—
Aiya suddenly called me, breaking my train of thoughts. It seemed it was already 11 PM.
That night I didn't get the answer to my question, but I didn't really worry about it because whatever the reason it didn't matter.
Because I happened
To
Love
Her
Too.

Author's Note:
Then tell her, dumbass. I can't believe this guy; completely wasting his youth–Damn, I sound like a geezer, don't I?
That being said, Eiya never really stops amazing me. Well, he is like my son at least until I get a real one.
Not that Eiya isn't real but yeah.
Anyway, remember to comment, share, and leave a review. Thanks for reading the chapter and see you in the next one.
