Kenzo laughed for a solid ten seconds.
It wasn't mean - there was no mockery in it, no condescension. It was the genuine, full-bodied laugh of a man who'd been asked something so wrong that the only honest response was amusement. He bent forward slightly, one hand on his knee, the other waving vaguely in Raizen's direction as if to say give me a moment, I need to get through this.
Raizen waited. Arms crossed. The sky lantern disc still in one hand.
Kenzo straightened up, wiping his eye with the heel of his palm, and took a long breath to collect himself.
"Alright" he said. "Alright. I'm sorry. But no. You can't learn Eon Suppression."
Raizen frowned. "Why?"
