The harness hissed, and everything that should have been a simple arc turned into a shove in the wrong direction. His shoulder hit the reinforced pane. The impact left a sweat print on the surface and a ringing in the back plate that traveled down his spine. Gravity did the rest. He slid down the panel until he was sitting on the floor, half laughing, half out of air, the cables at his shoulders slack and the arm bars hanging loose at his sides.
Somewhere behind her clipboard, Kori sighed.
"That is the fiftieth wall this week" she said. "You are running out of walls."
"Good thing I brought a spare spine" Raizen managed.
