In the middle of the night, inside the banquet hall of the inn, countless people and Pokémon lay sprawled unconscious across the floor, Yozora and his Pokémon among them.
Suddenly, Suicune stirred awake. It faintly heard a furious roar echoing from Mt. Silver, kilometers away, moving in the direction of Silver Town.
With a graceful leap, Suicune soared up to the rooftop of the inn, gazing down over Silver Town from above.
Almost at once, it spotted two suspicious figures descending into the town with aerial flight devices. Hot on their trail came the terrifying aura of a mountain beast from Mt. Silver.
Suicune recognized that aura instantly. It had once spent two months dwelling on Mt. Silver. The aura belonged to a defeated foe of its own—Tyranitar.
As Team Rocket intruded alongside the enraged Tyranitar, the peaceful town erupted into chaos beneath the dark night sky.
The mother Tyranitar rampaged wildly, firing off Hyper Beam after Hyper Beam as she charged in pursuit. She wasn't aiming at anything in particular—her attacks were random, fueled only by anger. And in her fury, she tore down ancient, long-standing buildings of Silver Town.
Houses collapsed, innocent villagers screamed in terror.
Explosions rocked the town. Countless people were jolted awake.
"WEE-OOH! WEE-OOH!"Sirens blared. Officer Jennys poured into the streets, joined by brave Trainers and townsfolk rushing in to resist the rampaging mother Tyranitar.
The more she was surrounded, the more furious she became. A vicious battle broke out.
"Hahaha! Wild Pokémon are just wild Pokémon—too stupid to know better! To think it dares challenge humans, rampaging inside a human settlement of all places!"
With the mother Tyranitar occupied by the defenders, the two Rocket grunts laughed as they removed their flight gear.
"What a shame we can't capture it ourselves," one muttered regretfully.
After all, Tyranitar was Tyranitar—a pseudo-legendary Pokémon. Capturing one would mean an immense fortune, even just to sell it.
"Hmph. A fully grown, wild Tyranitar is untamable. Even if we did catch it, the most we could sell it for is around ten million. But a Larvitar egg? That's a whole different story. As long as its potential isn't bottom-tier, it could fetch one or two hundred million easily!"
"True enough," the first grunt said, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.
A pseudo-legendary's offspring was guaranteed to hold incredible potential. At minimum, a Larvitar hatchling had the capacity to reach Elite Four strength.
Even a Larvitar egg with "just" Elite Four potential could sell for ten million.
If the egg held Champion-level potential, the price would soar into the hundreds of millions.
And for anything rarer? Priceless. Beyond the market's ability to even set a value.
"All right, the Silver Inn should be just ahead. We've worked hard long enough—it's about time we enjoyed ourselves!"
Spitting on the ground, the two grunts fantasized about feasting inside, waited on hand and foot, their faces filled with drunken anticipation.
FWOOOSH—
Before they could take more than a few steps, a divine, elegant figure descended from the skies. Suicune landed before them, eyes cold and imposing, its noble presence pressing down on them.
In its eyes, these two had to be the culprits. Otherwise, Tyranitar wouldn't have been driven to such a frenzy, losing all sense and reason.
"Su… Suicune?!"
"To think we'd run into Suicune at a time like this… are we lucky, or cursed?" The two Rocket grunts wore grim expressions, but without hesitation they hurled out their Poké Balls. One released a Machamp, the other a Crobat.
Both Pokémon wore collar-like red devices around their necks—the newest Team Rocket invention: the Rage Device.
"Activate Rage Device!"
The grunts each clutched a remote. Against Suicune's overwhelming aura, they immediately slammed the buttons.
A crimson glow surged forth. Machamp and Crobat's auras flared violently, their eyes turning blood-red, stripped of all emotion, replaced by cold fury.
The Rage Device could forcibly draw out a Pokémon's potential, pushing them to become far stronger—
But once the berserk state ended, the Pokémon would collapse into extreme weakness.
This wasn't merely drawing out potential. It was consuming their very life force—an evil invention through and through.
Now both Machamp and Crobat had entered a berserk state, their levels forcibly boosted.
Machamp leapt from mid-Gym Leader class all the way to the threshold of the Elite Four.Crobat surged from the lower ranks of Gym Leader level to its very peak.
"Go! Machamp, Crobat—take it down!"
In this berserk state, the Pokémon retained only the faintest shred of reason. They could barely distinguish friend from foe, but no longer understood commands. All they could do was lash out.
"Rooaaar!"
Machamp bellowed, scarlet eyes blazing as it charged, four fists raised toward Suicune. Crobat shrieked and dove in right behind it.
Yet—Machamp barely managed a few steps before its legs grew impossibly heavy, as though filled with lead. It froze in place, unable to move forward.
Crobat fared no better. Suspended in midair, it suddenly found itself locked in place by an invisible force.
"What? What's happening?! Attack, you two, hurry!" one grunt cried out in shock and anger.
"It's Extrasensory… Suicune's Extrasensory! It's holding them down with sheer psychic might!" the other muttered grimly, staring into Suicune's glowing azure eyes.
Too strong. Far too strong!
Even with the Rage Device's boost, Machamp had only reached the entry level of the Elite Four, while Crobat barely touched the peak of Gym Leader tier.
How could they possibly match a true Elite Four-level Suicune?
It was suicide.
BOOM! BOOM!
Twin Hydro Pumps shot forth, slamming into Machamp and Crobat. Both were blasted through the inn's walls, crashing heavily to the ground, completely unconscious.
"Machamp!"
"Crobat!"
The Rocket grunts froze in horror. Their most prized Pokémon had been obliterated in an instant. Terror flooded their faces.
Damn it! Their plan had gone perfectly. They had the priceless Larvitar egg in hand. Who could have foreseen Suicune standing in their way at the final step?!
…
With their Pokémon defeated, Suicune advanced toward them, regal and terrifying.
Under its crushing aura, both men broke into a cold sweat. With a choked cry, they collapsed to their knees, kowtowing desperately.
Suicune's azure eyes glowed faintly, unmoved by their pleas.
Moments later, its psychic power stirred—an egg suddenly floated out from one grunt's pack.
Their faces twisted in anguish.
…
Elsewhere, Yozora had awakened. Riding Dragonite, he was rushing toward Tyranitar's mother when Suicune's roar drew his attention. He descended and joined forces with the Legendary Beast.
"I see… Good work, Suicune."
Through Aura, Yozora communicated with it, quickly piecing together the truth.
"So the reason Tyranitar's mother went berserk… was because of you two!" Yozora's eyes blazed as he glared at the Rockets, fury rising in his chest.
Her rampage had destroyed Silver Town, and the townsfolk—unaware of the truth—would surely retaliate against her. Already wounded and far from the strongest Tyranitar, her chances of survival were slim.
Under Yozora's gaze, the two Rockets quaked. His aura… it wasn't just on par with Suicune's—it might even surpass it.
What kind of monster was this man?
…
Sensing the mother Tyranitar was in dire straits, Yozora wasted no more words. He mounted Suicune, racing to the battlefield.
Dragonite carried the two Rockets along, one under each arm.
By the time Yozora arrived, Tyranitar's mother lay collapsed, her body battered and broken, clinging to life.
Yet the townspeople still attacked, rage burning in their eyes.
"Enough. Stop this, everyone."
Yozora's voice cut through the chaos like thunder. The sheer weight in his tone silenced the crowd.
Normally, no one could have stopped them—not against a rampaging Tyranitar.
But Yozora was no ordinary Trainer. He was Champion of the Silver Conference. A Legendary Pokémon's chosen Trainer. The townsfolk held him in the highest respect.
"The true culprits are these two!" Yozora gestured, and Dragonite dropped the Rocket grunts at the townspeople's feet. "They stole Tyranitar's child. That is why she lost control."
"What?! Those vile scum!!"
The crowd erupted in fury. Men, women, and even children surged forward, kicking and punching the Rockets until their screams filled the night.
Officer Jennys stood by in silence. The mob's rage had to be vented before peace could return.
…
With the hatred redirected, Tyranitar's mother's plight eased.
"Hey, Yozora, what are you doing?!" someone cried as he approached her.
Even gravely wounded, she was still a Tyranitar—a wild one at that. Getting too close was sheer madness.
But Yozora pressed forward, placing the Larvitar egg gently before her.
Tyranitar's eyes, filled with wariness and wrath, softened instantly when she saw the egg. Tears welled up and fell silently.
"Suicune, use Life Dew."
A single golden droplet descended, rippling across the ground like a sacred wave. Gentle green light blossomed, wrapping around Tyranitar's mother and mending her broken body.
"Whoa…" gasps spread through the onlookers as her wounds visibly healed before their eyes.
Soon, she was able to stand again. She walked slowly to Yozora, cradling the egg, before suddenly pressing it into his hands.
"…?" Yozora blinked. She had fought so desperately for this egg. Why give it away now?
"Take it, Master." Suicune's voice echoed in his heart through Aura. "Tyranitar are strong, proud Pokémon. Often they will choose to entrust their young to a worthy Trainer. Her own growth has reached its limit. By giving you her child, she seeks a brighter future for it."
"I see… In that case, I'll accept."
Yozora received the egg. Tyranitar's mother gave a relieved smile. With one last glance at the battered Rockets, she turned and slowly made her way back toward Mt. Silver.
"Whoa! Amazing! He actually received a Larvitar egg, just like that!"
"No wonder he's the Silver Conference Champion!"
The crowd buzzed in awe. They hadn't heard Suicune's words, but seeing Yozora entrusted with such a treasure left them speechless.
As dawn broke, the incident finally came to an end.
The Officer Jennys thanked Yozora sincerely before dragging away the two broken Rockets.
The townsfolk dispersed.
Yozora exchanged farewells with Ash, Takao, Harrison, and Ash's group before riding Dragonite back to Kanto.
Ash and his friends, however, chose to travel home on foot.
Yozora wasted no time, soaring directly back.
…
Upon returning to Taige Gym, Yozora discovered a new addition among his fostered Pokémon—an energetic, adorable little one had hatched.
It was none other than Miltank's baby!
Unlike its mother "Mei," however, this calf's hide gleamed a grassy green.
A Shiny Miltank.
"Moo~"
Though freshly hatched, the calf ran straight into Yozora's arms, hugging his leg affectionately.
"What a sweet baby." Smiling warmly, Yozora lifted it up. Round and chubby, though newborn, it already had surprising weight.

"…Huh?" Yozora blinked as he scanned its stats.
It had only just been born—yet it was already Senior-level?
