Chapter 191 - Chapter 191 – The Invincible Sabrina

Chapter 191 – The Invincible Sabrina

"Just from this point alone, we can rule it out. This incident was not carried out by anyone within Team Rocket." Chakra spoke smoothly, his tone calm but firm.

He was one of Team Rocket's Three Beasts, infamous for his ruthless methods.

In terms of status, the Three Beasts and the Four Generals stood shoulder to shoulder—neither side willing to bow to the other.

"If there's a mole," Chakra continued, "then naturally, they'd stay hidden in the shadows."

Proton shot him a cold glare, snorting. "Why are you so desperate to clear your name? Don't tell me… that mole is one of your own subordinates?"

The room was filled entirely with Team Rocket's top brass—high-ranking and core members.

Aside from scientists like Dr. Rambo, the rest—including Secretary Matori herself—were all of Elite Four caliber.

For figures of this level, it was only natural to command subordinates of at least Elite-tier strength.

"Bullshit! Proton, you're slandering me!" Chakra leapt to his feet, his face twisted with rage.

"Right back at you." Proton smirked coldly.

The atmosphere quickly descended into chaos.

At first, it was just Lance and Chakra clashing, but soon the Four Generals and the Three Beasts squared off against one another, their arguments filling the conference room with deafening noise.

Secretary Matori frowned, lips pressed tightly shut.

As the boss's personal secretary, her authority was considerable. But every person seated here was a heavyweight within Team Rocket—far too dangerous for her to intervene.

In the end, it was Sabrina who acted.

Without the slightest warning, both Proton and Chakra suddenly clutched their heads, their faces contorted in agony as they screamed.

Before everyone's eyes, their bodies began to shrink—smaller, smaller—until the two men transformed into dolls that clattered onto the tabletop.

The room went deathly still, a chill running down every spine.

The other three members of the Four Generals, as well as the remaining Two Beasts, were drenched in cold sweat, their eyes snapping toward Sabrina.

Sure enough, her eyes glowed with a violet light, her long, straight black hair lifting as if in an unseen wind. She looked every bit a sorceress, bending reality itself to her will.

Psychic power…

This woman was terrifying. With nothing but her human body, she could turn living men into playthings…

Even a Psychic-type Pokémon would struggle to achieve something like this.

In an instant, the room fell silent. The Four Generals and the Three Beasts sat stiffly, sweat pouring down their faces, their backs ramrod straight like obedient children.

None of them wanted to become dolls—helpless toys for someone to amuse themselves with. Played gently, they might survive. Played carelessly, they could lose an arm, a leg… or worse.

"You're all so noisy. Useless rabble."

Sabrina returned to her usual calm state. With a casual wave, the two dolls floated into her hand. She tilted them idly between her fingers.

"Dolls are better. They're always obedient, never argue."

Her words carried a pointed edge that made the Generals and Beasts quake, their foreheads slick with sweat.

Matori observed all this in silence, awe filling her heart.

"As expected of Miss Sabrina. Besides the boss himself, only she can bring these unruly monsters to heel," she thought, admiration stirring within her. She longed to learn from Sabrina.

But psychic power… it was innate. Not something one could simply acquire.

"How boring. First it's endless bickering, now it's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Utterly dull. I'm leaving."

Finding the meeting intolerably tedious, Sabrina rose to her feet. She originally intended to take the Proton and Chakra dolls with her, but after one glance she curled her lip.

"Too ugly. No value as collectibles." She tossed them carelessly onto the floor.

With that, she swept out of the room.

"..." The executives sat in heavy silence.

Only once she was gone did the Four Generals and the remaining Two Beasts scramble to pick up the dolls, tucking them away carefully.

That woman was too powerful. Too erratic. Unrestrained. None dared utter a word against her.

Within the vast might of Team Rocket, only Giovanni commanded her respect. To Sabrina, no one else mattered—not Koga, not Lt. Surge, not even Matori, who idolized her so fervently.

It was said…

As a child, Sabrina's overwhelming psychic power had spiraled out of control, causing her to rampage.

The Power of Viridian, however, had the ability to soothe hearts, tame beasts, and calm turmoil.

By a stroke of fate, Giovanni—blessed with that power—had calmed the young Sabrina. Since then, she had followed him with absolute loyalty and admiration.

The room remained heavy with silence. Even Lt. Surge had sunk into deep thought.

"Beedrill. Again, it's Beedrill." A memory struck him like lightning—of his disciple, Bai.

Back then, Bai and his Electabuzz had perished in the wild. The official autopsy confirmed the culprit: Beedrill.

"Two incidents in a row, both Beedrill. The same hand, most likely." Lt. Surge's expression hardened.

He had once suspected wild Beedrill.

But now, with Team Rocket suffering two separate strikes… there was no way both could be blamed on wild Pokémon.

Where would so many Beedrill come from? At least Elite-tier ones?

No—this was no coincidence. This was deliberate.

"But who? Who commands at least an Elite-tier Beedrill, and strikes with cruelty equal to our own? Could it really be… that we do have a traitor among us?"

"Wait. When we captured Articuno, Lorelei also appeared at the Seafoam Islands. That alone proves there's a mole inside Team Rocket!" Lt. Surge's eyes burned as he spoke, his words sending ripples through the room.

Koga fell silent for a moment, his brow furrowing deeply. "If that's the case… then our identities have already been exposed."

Koga, Lt. Surge, Blaine, and several other Gym Leaders who held high-ranking positions in Team Rocket all wore grim expressions.

Among them, Blaine's face showed not only dread—but outright fear.

Unlike the others, Blaine's role in Team Rocket had never been as an enforcer. His title within the organization was that of a scientist. Aside from creating Mewtwo and developing Porygon, he hadn't personally committed many crimes.

In truth, his entry into Team Rocket had been forced, the result of threats he couldn't defy. But as time dragged on, extricating himself became harder and harder.

And now…

The thought that the Pokémon League already knew his identity—that they knew he had worked for Team Rocket—filled him with bitter despair.

"Mewtwo… Mewtwo's power is far too terrifying. I should never have created it…!" Blaine trembled with regret.

When the inevitable war between Team Rocket and the Pokémon League erupted, where would he stand?

By conscience, his loyalty still lay with the League.

The longer he spent within Team Rocket, the more he came to understand its darkness. Deep inside, he resisted it with every fiber of his being.

But he also valued his life. And he knew—betrayal of Team Rocket led only to one end: death.

"What path should I take from here?" Blaine's mind buzzed with turmoil.

Cunning as ever, he had long since prepared a trump card within Team Rocket.

That trump card… was none other than Mewtwo itself.

He had transplanted a vast quantity of his own genetic material into Mewtwo's body.

On that basis, no matter how powerful Mewtwo grew in the future, it would never harm him. In fact, there was even a chance… that it might obey his commands.
