Machida Sonoko, her waist encircled by Lin's arms and her rosy lips captured by his, couldn't help but widen her eyes. Her pupils trembled, her gaze flickering.
Her palms patted lightly against Lin's chest.
It seemed she wanted to push him away, but there was no strength in her hands at all.
Under Lin's practiced assault, she quickly became lost in the moment.
Her mind went completely blank.
About two minutes later, Lin finally released Machida Sonoko.
"Pant, pant, pant..."
Released by Lin, Machida Sonoko's face was flushed. Her body felt limp and weak as she leaned against his chest, gasping for air.
Her first kiss.
And it was a French kiss.
It nearly left her breathless.
Lin licked his lips.

But she didn't look threatening in the slightest.

Seeing this, Lin's heart stirred, and before the words were even out, he lowered his head again.

Machida Sonoko's eyes flew open.
Time slowly ticked by.
Before they knew it, they had gone from standing to tumbling onto the sofa.
Lin's hand scaled a peak.

Hearing this, Lin stopped just in time.
He released Machida Sonoko and sat to the side, watching her sit up.
Sitting up, Machida Sonoko straightened her wrinkled shirt, her pretty face beet red as she glared at Lin and said:
"What in the world has happened to you lately? You've changed so much, it's like you're a different person."
A hint of curiosity appeared in her eyes.
Lin gave a deliberately mysterious smile. "Take a guess, Sonoko."
"Wait, what did you call me?"
Hearing Lin call her "Sonoko," Machida Sonoko froze for a second, her heart seeming to skip a few beats.
"Sonoko."
Lin looked at her with a grin.
"Call me Machida-san."
Machida Sonoko blushed slightly again.
Lin nodded with a smile. "Okay, Sonoko. No problem, Sonoko."
Machida Sonoko: "..."
A bit speechless, she couldn't help but roll her eyes at Lin.
After taking a deep breath, she said:
"I'll just pretend what just happened never happened. You should go home."
Her mind was a mess right now.
Although reason told her she had to reject Lin without mercy and terminate this inappropriate relationship here and now.
But contradictory thoughts kept bubbling up.
Especially after Lin had taken her first kiss.
Not only did she not feel repulsed or angry, she was actually happy and expectant.
Expecting to experience it again.
"Sure, I'll go."
Lin nodded and stood up.

Watching Lin turn to leave, Machida Sonoko's eyes widened, her rosy lips parting as if she wanted to say something.
But in the end, the words wouldn't come out.
She just watched him go.
After Lin had left, Machida Sonoko thought back to his domineering words, and her pretty face flushed red again.
"Hmph, you little pervert. Who agreed to be your girlfriend?"
She muttered under her breath, her face crimson.
Her gaze flickered with shyness.
She couldn't help but place her right hand on her lips, tracing them lightly.
The wonderful feeling of kissing Lin just now seemed to return.
Her body started to feel a little hot.
Her left hand couldn't help but drift downward.
Walking out of the apartment building, Lin glanced up at Machida Sonoko's room on the twelfth floor, a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth.
The time wasn't ripe yet.
Next time, he'd be able to eat the fruit.
Even though Machida Sonoko hadn't been recorded in the Codex, after getting to know her for two years, it didn't make a difference to him.
Just as he had said before:
