Chapter 56 - 056: King's Warriors and Female Identity

Yokai power swirled around her.

The black-haired woman hovered in the air.

She glanced at the rapidly healing burn on her right hand, her mind racing as she thought of a countermeasure.

Close-quarters combat seemed unfeasible.

Then, ranged combat was her only option.

Sensing Lin's unfathomable depth, she decided to unleash the strongest technique she commanded: Collapsing Moon Dimensional Blade.

Yokai power highly condensed in her hand.

Concentrating intently, focusing with single-minded devotion.

Using a special technique, she forcibly tore open the superficial spatial fabric to enter a deeper layer, rapidly switching back and forth.

Utilizing the power of spatial displacement and restoration to disintegrate the target's structure.

It required switching hundreds of times per second.

Only in this way could she successfully execute the ultimate technique, Collapsing Moon Dimensional Blade.

"Eh..."

As the black-haired woman was about to unleash Collapsing Moon Dimensional Blade, Lin, seated on the Golden Throne, suddenly sensed something.

The corner of his mouth slightly curved upward.

"Forbid."

Each word resonated. "610"

As if his words held absolute power.

The spatial density around the black-haired woman expanded almost infinitely, effectively aborting her strongest ultimate move.

"How is that possible?!"

The black-haired woman's expression finally changed drastically.

Her eyes revealed a trace of incredible shock and bewilderment.

The superficial material space around her, which was already difficult to tear open, instantly became indestructible and unshakeable.

Simply because she had entered the wrong domain.

Within the spatial domain of the 'King's Domain', Lin possessed what could be called absolute control over space.

To seize control of space.

Unless spatial spirits or spatial-aligned deities of comparable or greater power intervened, no one could oppose him.

Just a mere technique utilizing spatial power, Lin could nullify the opponent's moves with a single thought.

"Blue General."

After nullifying the black-haired woman's technique, a blue-green shimmer flickered in Lin's eyes as he softly murmured.

The Sword of Damocles, symbolizing the Blue Kingship, burst forth with light.

It vanished instantly from his right side.

Then, in front of them, it transformed into a figure clad in heavy blue armor, its face obscured, wielding a greatsword.

Nearly three meters tall, it was imposing and extraordinary.

It exuded an invisible sense of pressure.

The cloak behind its shoulders stirred without wind, adorned with blue patterns and the emblem of the Blue Sword of Damocles.

The greatsword in its hand was about 1.4 meters long.

Its style was very similar to the Sword of Damocles representing the Blue Authority.

Only its form had changed.

The blade was thick and long, better suited for combat.

The heavy armored figure, formed by the power of the Blue Kingship, was as real as a living person.

This was one of the abilities of the Supreme Kingship, named King's Vanguard.

The Supreme Kingship possessed four major abilities.

The first was the domain 'King's Domain'.

The second was the guard 'King's Vanguard'.

The third was the divine punishment 'Kingship Descent'.

The fourth was the contract 'King's Clansmen'.

The ability of 'King's Vanguard' was to summon seven guard armies, along with seven generals to command them.

Each guard army comprised nine thousand nine hundred ninety-nine soldiers.

With the general, it was exactly ten thousand.

The King's Vanguard were condensed from the power of Authority; as long as there was sufficient energy, they could resurrect even after death.

The King's Vanguard possessed no independent consciousness.

But they possessed powerful combat instincts.

Moreover, Lin's consciousness could link with any of the King's Vanguard.

Controlling them with his consciousness.

Just like playing a fighting game.

Summoning only the Blue General, Lin remained high on his throne, a faint smile playing on his lips, as he split off a sliver of his consciousness.

The Blue General transformed into a blue light and shot forth.

Raising its blue greatsword high with both hands, it fiercely brought it down upon the black-haired woman.

The greatsword was wreathed in blue flame-light, the power of the Blue Kingship.

"No good!"

A pang of alarm struck the black-haired woman's heart.

She sensed a threat from the greatsword.

She couldn't meet it head-on.

The yokai power within her body surged, coalescing into a powerful burst, and she transformed into a streak of blood-red light, barely dodging the attack in the nick of time.

The Blue General's sword strike cut through empty air.

A translucent blue sword qi slashed into the almost-real grass, kicking up dust and carving a massive crack.

It extended to the very edge of the domain space.

With a flicker of light, it was restored to its original state.

Seeing this, the black-haired woman, who had narrowly dodged the attack, her pupils constricted.

However, what she didn't know was this:

This strike was less than one ten-thousandth of the Blue General's full power.

The Blue General pressed its advantage.

Its speed dramatically increased, turning into a blue-green stream of light as it charged towards the black-haired woman.

The greatsword in its hand swept horizontally.

The broad, thick blade slapped against the black-haired woman like a racket.

With a 'snap'.

A black shadow flashed.

The black-haired woman was smashed onto the ground like a batted ball.

Emitting a truly muffled thud.

Sparkling fresh blood drifted down through the air.

"Cough cough..."

The black-haired woman's face was pale, and she couldn't help but cough up a mouthful of blood.

Paralyzed on the ground, unable to move.

That last blow had shattered more than half the bones in her body.

Her internal organs were also severely damaged.

If she weren't a vampire, possessing powerful vitality and regenerative abilities, she would have already started to perish...

Of course, Lin had also held back.

Otherwise, even as a vampire, he could have pulverized her into a bloody mist with a single strike.

"I'll ask one last time: who are you, and what are you doing in my home?"

Lin slightly narrowed his eyes, looking down at the black-haired woman lying on the ground from fifty to sixty meters away.

If not for the possibility that she was related to Akashiya Moka.

She would already be dead.

"Shu...zen...Ai...."

The black-haired woman's brows were tightly furrowed as she endured the pain, speaking disjointedly.

Yokai power circulated within her body.

Accelerating the recovery of her injuries.

"Akua Shuzen..."

Hearing this, Lin paused slightly.

He seemed to have heard the name, but couldn't recall.

If he couldn't recall, he wouldn't dwell on it. Looking at Akua Shuzen, he asked directly:

"What is your relationship with Akashiya Moka?"

"Moka!"

Akua Shuzen, who had recovered slightly, heard the name Akashiya Moka, her eyes instantly widened, and her face showed surprise.

"You know Moka?"

She stared intently at Lin.

"I'm the one asking you."

Akua Shuzen's expression shifted slightly. Considering her current predicament, she hesitated before honestly stating:

"I'm her older sister."

"Older sister..."

Lin couldn't help but narrow his eyes slightly.

A vague memory deep within his brain began to gradually clear.

He finally remembered.

Akua Shuzen was Akashiya Moka's eldest sister, a doting sibling.

However...

Thinking of something (2.3), Lin looked at Akua Shuzen on the ground and asked again:

"So, you came to my home this time to take Moka away?"

"Take Moka away, for..."

Akua Shuzen paused at these words.

Just as she was about to ask why.

But then she suddenly realized something, and her words abruptly stopped.

No wonder she had sensed a familiar aura on the second floor earlier; what she had perceived was Akashiya Moka.

That target was also Moka!

After learning Akua Shuzen's identity, Lin's gaze softened slightly, and he looked at her, inquiring again:

"Tell me, what is your purpose?"

He had a slight suspicion.

"..."

Akua Shuzen's gaze subtly flickered.

After her injuries, which would have been fatal to an ordinary person, had mostly recovered, she slowly got up from the ground and looked at Lin, speaking softly:

"Previously, someone named Fujisaki Miya approached me, and we formed a partnership; he asked me to help him find someone..."
