Kael.
Chalice was late as usual, but today, it annoyed me so much, I unintentionally began to grit my teeth together.
The hands by my sides balled into tight fists as I turned to look at my brothers who were just as antsy as I was but while Caelum busied himself with his phone, Zevran was barking orders to some of the palace servants.
He seemed irritated for some unknown reason while I… I was left waiting for the woman who we've all been cursed to be married to.
"Should we just leave?" Caelum asked after a moment of silence, his eyes flashing with that crazy wickedness that I sometimes liked about him. But just as the words slipped out of his mouth, I shook my head.
"She has to come with us…"
"But she's late and I do not intend to spend the rest of the evening waiting for some bellè that I cannot even stand."
