At every turn, crowds gathered around Zion, eager hands reaching out to shake his, voices rising with congratulations and declarations of unwavering faith in his inevitable victory. I remained at his side, still feeling dizzy from the whirlwind of emotions and slightly overwhelmed by the magnitude of everything happening around us.
I had taken a single step toward him when a new figure emerged from the sea of well-wishers.
Imposing height, commanding shoulders, radiating an energy that could make an entire room fall silent with just his presence.
