Chapter 182 - Chapter 182: The New Marine's Strongest Forces, Fully Assembled!

East Blue.

"Rumble—"

Several massive, state-of-the-art New Marine warships, their hulls painted a stark, intimidating red and white, slowly entered the critical waterway connecting the East Blue to the Grand Line.

Their pitch-black cannons, gleaming with a cold, merciless sheen, were a far cry from the often-neglected ships of the old era.

"Stay sharp!" a New Marine officer roared, his voice hoarse with a new, fervent energy.

"Block all routes! Not even a mosquito gets through!"

"Sir, yes sir!"

"Report!" a messenger sprinted onto the deck, his boots slamming down as he snapped a crisp salute.

"The New Revolutionary Army has sent word! They are in position and ready to launch the uprising at any moment!"

"Excellent!" The officer slammed his fist onto the steel railing, his eyes blazing with a revolutionary fire.

"Tell them the liberation operation begins now! Don't you dare embarrass our Eastern Division! We will liberate all of East Blue before the other branches can even react!"

"Sir!"

....

In that same instant, in secret, hidden bases across all Four Seas, the newly christened New Revolutionary Army was in motion.

"Comrades!" a commander shouted, his voice echoing in a damp, hidden cavern.

"The time has come! Today, we show those high-and-mighty elites the true power of the people! Everyone, move out! We will let the tide of liberation sweep across these seas!"

"Sir!"

....

Simultaneously, receiving the signal, underground cells of the New Revolutionary Army, now operating with the full, open, and heavily-armed support of the local New Marine garrisons, began to mobilize.

"Fellow citizens! Listen to me!" A New Revolutionary Army officer stood on a makeshift platform in a crowded town square, his arms spread wide.

"The Marine you knew is gone! We are the New Marine, led by the great Mike-san!"

"The New Marine truly fights for us, for the common folk!" he roared, his voice full of a passion that was infectious.

"Mike-san has declared that we will build a brand-new world! A world without oppression or exploitation! A world of freedom, equality, and peace! Take up your tools, your farming implements, your arms, and follow us! Let us rise up together!"

His voice rose to a crescendo.

"Drive the lapdogs of the World Government from our homeland! Overthrow the World Government! Justice WILL prevail! Long live the people!"

"OVERTHROW! OVERTHROW!"

The crowd, their blood boiling with a fervor they hadn't known they possessed, roared back as one.

"LONG LIVE THE NEW MARINE!"

"LONG LIVE MIKE-SAN!"

The massive, once-docile crowd surged forward, a tidal wave of revolution.

...

In a gilded palace of a World Government-affiliated kingdom.

BOOM—!

A dull, thunderous sound, like the death knell of the Grim Reaper, echoed through the opulent halls.

The intricately carved mahogany doors of the throne room didn't just open; they exploded inward, blown off their hinges in a cloud of splinters and plaster dust.

A New Marine officer strode in, his presence as imposing as a dragon, followed by a squad of soldiers radiating a cold, disciplined killing intent.

"Y-You… who are you?!" the king, a fat, bejeweled man, shrieked from his throne.

"How dare you barge into my palace?! Guards! Where are the guards?!"

"By the highest decree of the New Marine's Supreme Leader, Mike," the officer coldly cut off the king's shouts, pulling a prepared list from his coat.

He unfurled it slowly, the sound of the paper like a death sentence.

"You have long oppressed your people, levied exorbitant, crippling taxes, and committed countless crimes against the innocent."

He looked up, his eyes were merciless.

"Under the laws of the New Marine, you are sentenced—to death. Your execution will be carried out publicly during the grand military parade, as a warning to all tyrants."

"N-No! You can't!" the king sputtered, his face draining of color.

"I am the king! A king of a World Government-affiliated nation! This is rebellion! I'll report you to the World Government! The Marines—call the Marines! I'll have them arrest all of you traitorous scoundrels!"

"Hmph—" The officer sneered.

He strode forward, looming over the trembling monarch, his eyes filled with a deep, bottomless disdain.

"The Marines?"

With a sudden, vicious punch, he buried his fist in the king's bloated belly.

The king let out a pig-like squeal, his eyes bulging as he curled up like a shrimp, toppling from his own throne.

"I am the Marine," the officer growled.

"Listen well—the New Marine. Led by Mike-san, serve the people. The true Marine of Justice."

He jerked his head at his squad.

"Take him away."

The soldiers stepped forward, grabbing the whimpering, soiled king and dragging him like a sack of garbage toward the dark, damp dungeons.

Soon, through the combined, overwhelming efforts of the New Marine and the New Revolutionary Army, the rotten kingdom was completely overthrown.

Granaries were opened, stolen treasures were returned to the people, and the flag of the New Marine was raised high above the palace, replacing the royal banner that had, for so long, symbolized nothing but oppression.

The spark of revolution, now fanned by an ocean of funding and an army of righteous soldiers, spread like wildfire, igniting the entire world.

"LONG LIVE MIKE-SAN!"

"LONG LIVE THE NEW MARINE!"

...

The New World.

On an island where the Beasts Pirates had temporarily docked to await news, the deafening clamor of their party came to an abrupt halt as a News Coo arrived, dropping off the latest paper.

"Wororororo!" Kaido, in his human form, stared intently at the headline, his eyes blazing.

"WHITEBEARD PIRATES FULLY ASSEMBLED, TARGET: MARINE HEADQUARTERS!"

King, Queen, and Jack, the three All-Stars, stood on either side, awaiting their governor's command.

"I knew it!" Kaido roared, a savage grin splitting his face.

"That old bastard Newgate would never bow to the Marines! That damn bird Morgans, daring to write such filth! Next time I see him, I'll pluck all his feathers and turn him into a bald, roasted vulture!"

He crushed the newspaper in his giant fist, his blood boiling with the anticipation of a glorious, world-ending war.

"MOVE OUT!" he bellowed.

"Let's go wreak havoc on Marineford! Let's show those fools in the World Government, and that old man Whitebeard, who truly rules these seas!"

"YES!"

"Woo—!"

Amidst deafening horn blasts, the colossal fleet of the Beasts Pirates departed, heading at full, monstrous speed toward their destiny at Marineford.

....

At the same time.

New Marine Headquarters.

"Woo—"

A different, more orderly and powerful sound of horns echoed across the massive, fortified harbor.

One after another, a series of colossal warships—far larger than standard Marine vessels—slowly and expertly docked at the main pier.

Vice Admiral Momonga was the first to descend a gangplank, followed by a woman of such impossible, otherworldly beauty that the soldiers on the docks momentarily forgot to breathe.

The "Pirate Empress," Boa Hancock.

From another ship, "Hawk-Eyes" Mihawk and the new Vice Admiral, Issho, disembarked side-by-side.

Floating silently behind them, held aloft by Issho's gravity, was the unconscious, chained form of "Golden Lion" Shiki.

Then, the largest ship of all, the Moby Dick, sailed into the harbor, its iconic whale figurehead a symbol of a new, unbelievable alliance.

"Gurararara…" Whitebeard, leaning on his bisento but standing taller and stronger than he had in a decade, strode down the gangway.

Following close behind him, his expression a complex mix of awe and resignation, was the "Dark King," Silvers Rayleigh.

"Pops!"

A familiar, fiery voice suddenly rang out.

A figure, no longer in chains, sprinted across the pier.

"Ace!" Whitebeard's weathered face broke into a massive, joyous grin.

He spread his arms wide.

"Thud—!"

The "father and son" embraced, a collision of pure, unadulterated relief.

In that same moment, three figures descended from the sky.

Kuma, his movements swift and silent, landed on the pier with Dragon and Sabo in tow.

As soon as Sabo's feet hit the ground, his eyes scanned the crowd frantically, finally landing on the man with the familiar black hair and freckles, who was just pulling away from Whitebeard.

"Ace…" Sabo whispered, his voice choked.

"..."

Ace turned his head, staring at the blond-haired man in the top hat—a face he knew only from a faded, forgotten photograph.

He froze.

"!!!"

"Sa… Sabo?!"

"Hahaha! You're alive?!"

With this final, impossible reunion, the New Marine's strongest, most legendary, and most terrifyingly powerful forces had, at last, fully assembled.
