Chapter 210: Deoxys
"Gallade, Psycho Cut!" Seeing Crescent hesitate, Ryan wasn't about to let such a good opportunity slip by.

A purple stripe runs through its face, and there is a crystalline core in its chest. Its rectangular black eye sockets contain white round eyes.
Deoxys looked at Gallade, and its form changed, transforming into Attack Forme. At this time, Deoxys's attack power was explosive. Its two tentacle-like arms merged into one solid arm, directly launching a Drain Punch at Gallade.
"Drain Punch? Trying to fight a war of attrition? Gallade, Leaf Blade!" Ryan shouted.
Gallade's elbow blades lengthened again, and its Leaf Blade clashed violently with Drain Punch. Deoxys's two tentacle arms suddenly gathered energy, unleashing a Zen Headbutt that blasted Gallade away.
"Gallade, Mega Evolve!" Ryan immediately helped Gallade evolve, realizing that Gallade was no match for Deoxys; the difference in strength was too great.
Mega Gallade completed its Mega Evolution after several turns in the air, its elbow blades growing larger, and an imposing cape unfurling behind it. Mega Gallade used Heal Pulse to recover, also confirming its final move.
But Deoxys gave Gallade no chance to breathe, switching to Speed Forme. Even Ryan couldn't accurately catch its movements, appearing in front of Gallade in an instant, switching to Attack Forme, and unleashing a Drain Punch that sent Gallade flying.
It switched to Speed Forme again, positioned itself above Gallade, and delivered a powerful kick to Gallade's abdomen. Gallade groaned and transformed into a streak of light, crashing heavily onto the Rock Field, losing its ability to battle.
"Gallade is unable to battle! Please switch Pokémon, Ryan!"
Ryan silently recalled Gallade. Then, a blue figure appeared carrying a water stream, and Greninja transformed into Ash-Greninja. Ryan waved his hand, and Ash-Greninja drew its Water Blade, unleashing Water Shuriken Slash!
A transformation of Sacred Sword, using a super-fast water stream to strike the enemy. In a short instant, four slashes were unleashed. Deoxys's limbs were all severed, falling directly to the ground.
"Deoxys, Recover," Crescent said.
The crystal on Deoxys's chest shimmered. Cells surged at the wound site, and new limbs grew back instantly. The severed limbs turned into energy and flew towards Deoxys, merging directly into its body.
"So, the weakness is that crystal. Ash-Greninja, Shadow Sneak," Ryan said.
Greninja leaped high into the air, instantly lengthening its shadow with the sunlight. The shadow instantly appeared beneath Deoxys, and Greninja raised a hand, the dark arm extending from its shadow to grab the crystal on Deoxys's chest.
"Gravity!" Crescent exclaimed.
Greninja's plan was instantly shattered by Deoxys's Gravity, and it plummeted towards the ground. Undeterred, Greninja unleashed four Water Shuriken Slashes at Deoxys again.
Deoxys, having learned from its previous mistake, switched to Defense Forme, completely protecting its crystal. Its superior defense meant the Water Shuriken Slashes only left four deep wounds, which were quickly healed by its Recover.
"Tch, the Aura of regeneration is truly troublesome. Greninja, another Shadow Sneak!" Ryan shouted.
Greninja's shadow lengthened once more, shooting towards Deoxys. Deoxys transformed into Speed Forme, dodging the Shadow Sneak, and simultaneously switched to Attack Forme, unleashing a Zen Headbutt at Greninja.
Ryan smiled and said, "Got you!"
Greninja drew its Water Blade, unleashing four Water Shuriken Slashes towards the Zen Headbutt. The two exploded in mid-air, and just then, several Water Shuriken burst through the mist from the explosion, directly striking Deoxys's crystal.
Deoxys instantly lost control of its power and plummeted from the air. Greninja, already waiting, struck Deoxys's crystal with a powerful Water Shuriken Slash, rendering it unable to battle!
"Deoxys is unable to battle! First half over, halftime!" the referee announced, waving his flag.
Having lost three Pokémon, Crescent had nowhere to retreat!
