Chapter 135 - The devil who was born of an angel

Kim demanded:

"What mockery is this? My elements are Darkness and Fire... where is the Light?"

Lloyd replied:

"You were one of the Children of Light... you can track the Holy Energy... and a portion of that energy is inside you. Either you relinquish this part, or you will die."

Everyone was shocked. Elena was terrified, and her sister Rose was stunned, realizing that everything Kim was enduring was because of her.

Elena spoke up:

"Kim... did you absorb this energy from someone?"

He told her he hadn't met an angel or anything of the sort.

Lloyd interrupted them, keen to clarify the situation:

"He cannot acquire it that way... it doesn't come from absorption. It either has to be a blessing from Heaven and the Angels—which did not happen—or it is inherited by the Children of Light."

Kim asked in astonishment:

"Did I inherit it because I killed you?"

Lloyd informed him:

"No... it means you must have had a mother or father who was an angel."

At this, Kim's mind froze.

Shocked... what was he saying?

He grabbed Lloyd and threw him toward the retainer:

"No... this is from me? Me? I am human... and my family is human!"

Lloyd explained:

"Angels have the ability to change their appearance... and to remain close to humans. But my Lord... it is not my place to address my king in poor language."

Kim was overwhelmed in his mind...

His father did not deserve to be an angel...

And there was no evidence.

Lloyd merged back into Kim's body and told Amun that he could create internal receptacles for each element... and his Master would survive.

Lloyd summoned the Knights of Hell.

He once had a skill to summon individuals, but now he was linked to his Master's element.

He suggested that Amun occupy one of their bodies...

Amun complied.

Amun told Kim:

"Don't worry..."

Amun was unaware of Kim's absorption of the Void, and that he intended to seal it inside himself. He began placing high-ranking spells upon Kim.

Kim asked Lloyd:

"What if I seal three portals into one?"

Lloyd informed him:

"You will possess the element of Chaos... the highest rank among the elements of destruction. If you can merge Life, Void, and Darkness... you will possess the strongest element in all the worlds."

But there was a risk...

Only one person had ever achieved this...

And the Messengers and Angels suffered greatly because of him.

That was the King of Hell, Bruno Caesar... the strongest in everything. To curb his tyranny, they sealed him and sent the High Angel to another world.

Kim told Amun to proceed.

Amun looked at him seriously:

"Are you sure about this?"

Kim said:

"I haven't used it... just do it. When the time comes to use it, I will tell you... don't worry about me."

Amun looked at him with distrust.

Kim assured him:

"I know I am reckless... but I have my domain and my world... and other elements too, so don't worry."

Amun attempted to seal the three elements into one portal inside him.

Kim deactivated his eye... and found that his body was no longer dissolving.

Kim gestured toward the forest... and it was completely destroyed.

He said:

"The power of annihilation still works."

But everyone was in shock...

He had obliterated an entire forest in less than a second.

Elena's sister, Rose, looked at him.

He told her:

"You see? I found a path to the end... in order to love everything. Hope should never be lost... understand me."

She looked at him, completely awestruck.

He walked toward Elena...

Amidst everyone's words and the Queen's apologies to him... for his condescension toward everyone...

Rose was looking at Kim's face with shyness... had she developed a crush on him?

She spoke in a quiet, tender voice, mixed with soft laughs:

"Truly... ever since I met him... when I look at him, I find him externally emotionless... hollow. But truly... now when I look into his eye, I find the truth... his facial expressions are the same... as if he is doing his best and bearing all the losses by himself. He is not a hollow person... it seems life lied to him since he was a child. She told him this when he was a child... he truly is a person who holds feelings... and the reflection of his smile next to my sister... he is a human made of emotions."
