The former is the remaining item after the latter has chosen a maid. It allows for actions like storing the bound maid.
For example, with Keqing's Maid Charm, Jack could store her within the Maid Charm's exclusive space, but as he considers Keqing his soulmate, he has never used this function.
If a charm has no binding record, it will also show as "Empty." Such a charm can be used to capture "wild" maids and form a binding relationship with them.
In reality, these blank Maid Charms can be used as invitation letters, allowing Lisa and others to also gain character templates and thus join the MC World ability system.
