Chapter 151 - Chapter 151 Group Chat

The moment Utakata became a Perfect Jinchuriki.

Within a shared mental space of the Tailed Beasts.

"Yo, isn't that Saiken? Finally decided to come out and play!"

The shouting Tailed Beast was Ichibi Shukaku. This unique mental space was like the Tailed Beasts' own chat group.

No matter where they were, they could freely link to this space, provided they weren't sealed, of course.

It used to be very lively here, with the Nine Tailed Beasts often chatting in the group.

But ever since about fifty years ago, everything changed. Those two guys, who were more like Tailed Beasts than the Tailed Beasts themselves, captured eight of the Tailed Beasts, excluding Shukaku.

From then on, this group became completely quiet.

Not long ago, Killer Bee became a Perfect Jinchuriki, and Gyūki rejoined the chat, but besides him, there were no other Tailed Beasts here!

Another ten years passed, and Gaara became a Jinchuriki. Shukaku joined the chat with a 2G connection.

Shukaku being sealed yet still able to join the chat was due to the Hidden Sand Village's seal being too weak, coupled with Gaara's young age.

A seal where Shukaku could move freely whenever Gaara fell asleep didn't seem like a proper seal at all.

Therefore, despite the internet speed limitations, Shukaku eventually joined the chat.

As for Three-Tails Isobu, that was just a misunderstanding caused by the Ninja World's incorrect perception of Perfect Jinchuriki. Yagura and Isobu's relationship was similar to Yugito and Matatabi's current relationship.

They became friends and had a good relationship, but their Chakra couldn't merge and become one!

In the Ninja World's understanding, Yugito was also a Perfect Jinchuriki, capable of Partial Tailed Beast Transformation, full Tailed Beast Transformation, and releasing Tailed Beast Balls, without going berserk due to external interference.

But only Killer Bee and Kumogakure, who had truly become Perfect Jinchuriki, understood that Yugito was not a Perfect Jinchuriki; she hadn't completed that final small step.

Shukaku and Gyūki did not have a good relationship; to be precise, Shukaku didn't get along well with most Tailed Beasts.

In the chat group, Shukaku and Gyūki barely chatted a few times over several years, and the only times they did, they would argue after a couple of sentences and part ways unhappily!

A few months ago, Gyūki's account was banned, leaving only Shukaku all alone in the group!

Now, a new Tailed Beast finally joined the chat, and it was Six-Tails Saiken, with whom Shukaku felt he had a good relationship!

Actually, this was Shukaku's misconception. Three-Tails Isobu and Six-Tails Saiken, the only two reclusive Tailed Beasts among the Nine Tailed Beasts, got along well with all the other Tailed Beasts!

After all, everyone likes a quiet, peaceful Tailed Beast who never argues and doesn't care about winning or losing.

Shukaku was very excited the moment he saw Saiken and proactively greeted him!

"Ah, it's Shukaku. Congratulations, you're finally free!"

Saiken's words instantly made Shukaku's face turn ugly. He knew his own situation; was he truly free?

This was imprisonment!

Although the cell was a bit broken, the guards were a bit lax, and he occasionally got a 2G signal, it was still imprisonment!

Not wanting to discuss this matter, Shukaku changed the subject.

"Don't talk about me, Saiken. What's your situation now? Are you completely free?"

"No, my Jinchuriki and I have accepted each other."

"With humanity's despicable nature and endless desires, you two actually accepted each other! Saiken, are you sure your Jinchuriki is human?!"

The Tailed Beasts, being familiar with each other, knew each other's situations.

In Shukaku's opinion, the Tailed Beast most difficult to mutually accept a Jinchuriki was not himself or Kurama, who had the most volatile tempers.

Instead, it was Saiken, who seemed to have the best temper, because with humanity's endless desires, it seemed impossible for them to mutually accept Saiken.

In fact, in the original story, with Naruto's ideal of becoming Hokage, his desire for recognition, and his obsession with bringing Sasuke back.

Naruto, who conquered Kurama, if he were Saiken's Jinchuriki, would never, not in this life, next life, or the life after that, be able to mutually accept Saiken!

Shukaku's shock was therefore understandable!

Saiken, on the other hand, calmly replied in his childlike voice.

"Shukaku, you and Kurama have too many prejudices against humans. Humans are a strange species!"

"There are all kinds of people, it's not surprising!"

Shukaku was still very shocked, appearing unable to comprehend.

"Saiken, why don't you bring your Jinchuriki here so I can see what kind of human could possibly accept you!"

Saiken lay on the ground, lazily shaking his head.

"No, it's too troublesome, and Utakata probably wouldn't bother coming either."

Shukaku suddenly sensed something.

"It seems your Jinchuriki's personality is at least very similar to yours!"

Saiken also had his own realization at this moment. He felt that Shukaku's state was a bit off, but it was none of his business, so he dismissed the thought.

Shukaku, rarely able to have a good chat, kept talking about this and that beside Saiken.

Soon.

The conversation shifted to a crucial question!

"Saiken, do you know what happened to Gyūki?"

This was a secret Shukaku had discovered not long ago. This chat group had the Tailed Beasts' own imprints.

When other Tailed Beasts were sealed, their imprints in the group would show an offline status.

In the past, when a Tailed Beast was killed, the corresponding Tailed Beast imprint would show a banned status, but the imprint would still exist.

However, after Gyūki was killed by Yuuki and his soul harvested by Hellfire a while ago, the Eight Tails Gyūki's imprint disappeared!

In the past thousand years, no matter what happened, there were always nine imprints in the Tailed Beast group, until a few months ago, when the nine-person group became an eight-person group!

Shukaku happened to be there at the time and witnessed this.

But three days later, it became a nine-person group again, and Shukaku also observed Gyūki's imprint; no matter how he looked at it, it was the Eight Tails Gyūki himself.

Yet, Shukaku always felt that Gyūki's imprint had changed. This was Shukaku's intuition, but no matter how Shukaku observed, he found no difference from before.

Now, Saiken's appearance made Shukaku want to confirm if it was his own illusion.

"Gyūki? I don't know. I don't know anything about what's happening outside."

Shukaku, who had already anticipated this, felt no surprise. Without a word, he pulled Saiken to Gyūki's account, or rather, his imprint.

"Saiken, look at Gyūki's imprint. Do you feel anything special?"

Saiken obediently stared at Gyūki's imprint for a while and said.

"I don't feel anything. Isn't this just Gyūki? Though it seems he was killed by someone!"

This wasn't the answer Shukaku wanted, so he spoke again.

"Saiken, look closer!"

Saiken still obediently observed again. After a long while.

"Hmm, it seems a little different, but I can't quite describe it. Looking at it for too long can create illusions, I'll rest first."

Then, before Shukaku could react, Saiken left a sentence and disappeared.

"Shukaku, see you next time!"

Clearly, Saiken felt tired from being bothered by Shukaku and intended to go back to being a recluse.

Shukaku didn't have time to stop him, but he muttered to himself.

That wasn't an illusion, Saiken. Sure enough, you felt the same way.

Knowing that he wasn't mistaken, Shukaku no longer cared about this matter. How big of a deal was it? He would just ask Gyūki when he revived later!

Then Shukaku also left the chat.
