"What kind of entertainment?" Sara asked out of curiosity.
"You'll find out in the evening," Luca replied smoothly. His finger slowly traced the delicate outline of her face, following her cheekbone down to her jaw.
She grasped his hand instantly, halting his movement with a sharp glare in her eyes. "Tell me or I'm not taking you to my father's home tonight."
Luca leaned in close. His lips almost brushed her earlobe, the sudden proximity enough to make her heart race wildly against her ribs. His hot breath blew gently over her ear. "You don't need to be too close to me," she murmured, struggling to maintain her composure.
"You're supposed to make it entertaining. I will only help you," he finally whispered, the promise laced with dark intention.
He moved back just as the doors of the elevator opened. "Why are your cheeks red?" Luca asked, knitting his brows together in mock curiosity.
