The settlement was constructed by creating massive holes in a huge rock that was originally part of a mountain.
The town on the 3AG floor consists of thousands of people, but the towns are separated because of the light sources. Between the towns, there are huge rocks that were left untouched during the construction of the settlement. A main pathway was created for movement between towns with the street lamps guiding the path , but there are also smaller pathways located far from the main path. These smaller paths also connect to the towns, but they don't have any street lamps, they're completely dark and needed to cover a longer distance to reach a town because they were in between the rocks.
The towns are not far apart from each other.
Manu was chasing the person who had been following him through the town, but the person didn't take the main pathway — instead, he took one of the smaller, unlit paths.
As they gradually moved farther from the town, visibility decreased. At the same time, the person pulled something from his pocket, and suddenly, a light appeared in front of him, illuminating the path.
"What—he has a flashlight? Those are quite expensive in the settlement. Who is he? I need to catch him before he gets away. If not, he might cause trouble for Srini in the future," Manu thought to himself.
Then Manu continued to follow closely behind the person.
The pathway was uneven — running at full speed was impossible because many rocks blocked their way, slowing both of them down.
Suddenly, the person sprinted straight ahead into an open space. The place was wide and surrounded by rocks from all sides.
Then, all at once, the person stopped running and stood still. He turned off his torchlight.
"What… what is he doing? I think I made a wrong choice following him," Manu thought, turning his head around in the darkness.
Then suddenly, a whistle sound echoed —
"Fweeeet!"
After the sound, a bright light focused directly on Manu's face.
"what! who are you?" Manu questioned
Because of the sudden light in the darkness, Manu was unable to open his eyes and covered his face with his hands. He raised one hand toward the light and turned to his left.
When he turned left, another bright light focused on his face.
"What—no, I made a mistake following that person. It was a trap from the beginning. I need to escape, I need to reach the town!" Manu said to himself.
While blocking the two lights in the air with his hands, Manu turned his face to the right. He felt something was there — but before he could react, a heavy punch landed squarely on his nose.
The impact threw Manu to the ground, and the lights immediately turned off.
Blood began dripping from his nose due to the blow.
"Who are you people? Who sent you?" Manu said, holding his nose.
Then, suddenly, another light focused on his face from a different direction while he was still on the floor.
Manu blocked the light with his right hand in the air, but just then, a heavy kick landed on the left side of his stomach, forcing him to lie flat on the ground.
"Ahhh… who are you? Say it first!" Manu shouted.
"He is the one right ", a person asked in darkness .
"Yes " another person said .
"Are you shore he is the one " one more person said ,"but he doesn't look like he can do it " same person said
