As Hades and Zeus continued their relentless assault without holding back, Kaelos was gradually being pushed back.
More than a hundred dead copse of minor-god–level soldiers swarmed him, alongside Zeus and Hades themselves—both far stronger than any normal minor god.
Kaelos was clearly on edge, yet he continued fighting in his Overdrive technique.
His attacks were empowered with terrifying speed and precision as he struck at both Zeus and Hades.
They suffered injuries, but still managed to fight on, their divine regeneration keeping them in the battle—as most deities possessed some form of regeneration.
Kaelos, however, could not regenerate.
As Hades had already observed, the technique he was using pushed him far beyond his limits, preventing proper regeneration entirely.
At first, Hades had believed Kaelos to be among the stronger major gods—especially given a technique like this.
But now, he saw the truth.
That power was temporary.
'Why would he use something like this?'Hades wondered. 'Was his pride hurt when we wounded him in his divine form?'
That was likely the case.
If Kaelos hadn't activated Overdrive, Hades believed he might actually or probably would have been able to defeat them.
Ironically, Hades didn't know that the two major gods Aetherion had faced before were weaker than the reckless one standing before him now.
Hades continued attacking—his darkness and fear domain paralyzing Kaelos for brief moments—while Zeus bombarded him with lightning, crushing air pressure, and raging hurricanes without hesitation.
The undead soldiers joined in as well, their borrowed domain powers weaker than when they were alive, but still strong enough to inflict damage.
Finally, Kaelos roared.
"Enough!"
An overwhelming surge of heat erupted from his body—far hotter than the surface of the sun itself.
Ten times hotter.
No—fifteen.
Hades narrowed his eyes.
The battle had dragged on, and now Kaelos was unraveling.
Hades sneered.
"What? Are you going to throw a tantrum like a child?"
he taunted coldly.
Zeus laughed loudly and joined in.
"Yeah! Go home and cry to your mother—drink some of her breastmilk! Bahahaha!"
Hades allowed himself a small smile.
Zeus was doing exactly what he hoped—provoking Kaelos, attacking his pride, pushing him to overextend even further.
They were driving him toward collapse.
Kaelos trembled with rage.
"You two pathetic brats!" he snarled. "Do you really believe you can defeat me? Me? A major god?"
The heat surged again—violently.
'Not good,'
Hades thought immediately.
If whatever Kaelos was about to unleash hit them directly, they could lose this fight.
Then—
A massive sphere of water, nearly a kilometer wide and deep, crashed down from above, engulfing Kaelos in an instant.
Steam exploded across the battlefield as the temperature plummeted.
"I managed to stop the heat!" a familiar voice echoed through the steam. "Or at least slow it down!"
"Wahaha! And I'm back!"
Hades recognized the voice instantly.
'So the idiot finally recovered,'
he thought, a faint smile appearing on his otherwise cold expression.
Poseidon appeared beside Hades and Zeus, a trident of compressed water clenched in his hand, a crooked grin on his face.
"It took you a while,"
Hades said calmly.
"Yeah," Zeus added irritably. "Couldn't you recover any faster? Look at me—do you see all these scars and wounds?"
Poseidon scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
"Haha… sorry. He got me pretty good. I didn't expect him to become that fast—or to overwhelm my technique so completely,"
he said apologetically.
"It doesn't matter," Hades replied. "We just have to defeat him here and now."
Zeus and Poseidon both turned their gazes forward, locking onto the enemy.
"Yeah,"
they said in unison.
"Let's kick his ass,"
Poseidon added, gripping his trident tighter.
As he prepared to move, something changed.
Everyone on the battlefield felt it.
Something terrifying was approaching.
Hades, Zeus, and Poseidon froze midair. Even the major god they were fighting halted completely, his rising heat abruptly stalling.
Below them, the battlefield fell unnaturally silent.
Then—
High above, four more major gods appeared, clad in armor, radiating immense power.
But even they weren't the reason the battlefield had frozen.
It was the sky.
The stars began to move.
They rearranged themselves into a constellation—of a man running… no, flying—across the heavens, as though racing toward something inevitable.
Then the gods felt it.
Far away, yet rapidly approaching, a colossal aura surged closer.
It was terrifying.
As if death itself were drawing near.
A shooting star—no, a shooting constellation—raced across the sky, descending toward them like a harbinger of doom.
Sweat beaded on the faces of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades.
The approaching being did not bother to suppress his aura.
It flooded the battlefield mercilessly.
Even the major gods began to tremble.
Kaelos—once so arrogant, so full of pride—now looked pale, fear flickering across his face like that of a cornered beast.
Below, lesser gods fell to their knees, immortal deity's… Praying desperately that whatever was coming would pass them by.
Then—
A man appeared.
He descended casually from the heavens, floating above them all—higher even than the major gods.
His presence dominated the sky itself.
He looked down at the battlefield and casually flicked a disc of condensed starlight into the air.
"Ho, ho, ho,"
he laughed softly.
"Quite rebellious children… are you not?"
His gaze settled on Zeus, Poseidon and Hades, who instinctively stiffened under it.
"Naughty children require punishment."
The Titan of Constellations, Crius, had arrived on the battlefield.
But before he could make his move, something else appeared.
From the direction where the three brothers of the Rebellion had arrived—along with their allies and small army—a presence emerged.
It was not inferior to the one who had just arrived, Crius .
No—instead this presence illuminated the sky itself, as if the sun had descended upon the earth once more, even though it was night, when only the moon and stars should have ruled the heavens.
The figure moved steadily toward the Titan of Constellations, without fear or hesitation.
All the gods felt it.
Major gods, lesser gods—even Zeus and Hades turned toward it.
Poseidon noticed it as well, and a faint smile appeared on his tanned face.
For standing before the Titan of Constellations now was someone the tree brothers didn't think was inferior to one of the Twelve Great Titans.
Helios.
His aura burned brilliantly, clashing directly against the authority of the Titan of Constellations.
At last, a worthy opponent had appeared.
"A strong one, huh?" Helios said with a confident smile. "I was told to deal with any of the Twelve Great Titans."
His gaze sharpened as he looked at the being before him.
"Looks like today is your unlucky day, Uncle."
The Titan of Constellations shook his head slowly.
"My oh my, you were such a calm and quiet child before, Helios," he said. "What happened to you? How did you become so prideful… so arrogant?"
His expression hardened completely.
"Do you truly believe you can defeat me—one of the greatest Titans?"
Helios met his gaze without flinching.
"Of course,"
he replied simply.
