This woman used marriage to scam multiple men of millions and you are not going to believe they found out when she was finally caught
This story takes us back to all the way to Kenya ,meet this woman whose name is Asha
Asha was born in a small rural part of Kenya ,but eventually moved garissa county of Kenya to live a quiet life and modest life at least that s what people thought
You see Asha ,she had a financial problem bills were piling up ,rent was due ,her fridge was empty more often than not
She wanted to buy new clothes,afford better food maybe even start a small business and deep down ,she felt she deserved more than the life she was living ,Asha come up with a plan
She joined Christian dating forums online ,presenting herself as a single Kenyan woman looking for a God fearing man to settle down with and Asha played this perfectly
Posing as someone who was soft spoken ,respectful and spiritual,and that was how aish meet a guy who well called David
David was a single local pastor living in isiolo county,he was in his late 40s lonely and focused on the ministry exactly the type of man Asha was looking for ,Asha told David that she was deeply religious loved children and believe in waiting until marriage and David was impressed telling Asha (you are my soulmate Asha )within weeks of they online connecting turned into a daily calls ,scripture reading and online devotionals (church )
David was hooked at this point than Asha's time came soon ,
Asha begin and think think for a strategy to collect money From David by telling him that her business was struggling,she said her business had collapsed and her phone was about to be disconnected and she couldn't even pay rent and without hesitation David started sending her money from the little church he operate hoping to take her as her wife as soon as possible
David sent her 10,000 shillings here 40,000, 15,000 shillings .
At this point David even wired her the equivalent of 100,000 shillings to clear her debts shillings are what they spend in Kenya and one dollar is about 129 shillings as of today's exchange rate ,in total David is said to have sent Asha about 580 thousand shillings

Now David finally told Asha that he wanted to marry her to which Asha said yes ,so David went and prepared a house for her ,paid for her flight tickets to come and meet him in isiolo ,that a part in Kenya,and om this day she was meant to arrive ,
David went prepared and schedule his movement for the day to welcome her wife and went to the airport and waited for her ,but Asha naver showed up
She gave David some random excuse cried on the phone and than practically ghosted him after she gave collected his money

she found her second victim,A man from Nairobi who we all call Elias ,just like David ,Elias was just looking for a serious partner and just like David ,he felt he had found the one when he met Asha online ,
Asha told him she was a born again Christian serious about marriage and ready to settle down
The two chatted constantly made future plans and just like before ,she gradually introduced her financial problems as she did David
She told Elisa her rent was overdue ,her mother was sick and her business was collapsing,so Elisa's hoping to support the woman he believed he would marry
One day Elias began sending her money 20,000 shillings ,50,000 shillings ,80 thousand shillings in total Elias said to have send Asha over 430 shillings which is approximately $3,334 USD
Eventually Elias told Asha he was ready to meet and asked her to come and meet or visit him in Nairobi ,that where elais lives .
Asha agreed and even told him that she have booked a ticket for the following weekend,but on that day ,she was meant to arrive Asha vanished ,no calls ,no massage nothing nothing
At frist Elias thought maybe something bad had happened or maybe her phone got missing or she missed her flight.
But after a few days with no response,Elias crew suspicious so he contacted the airline she said she was flying with ,to ask them what happened with her flight.
Only to find out that no such booking existed and that was when Elias knew he had been scammed

Unlike David ,Elias did not take this lying down ,he filed a report with the Nairobi police and within a days of detectives and investigating and they traced Asha's mobile number to a small neighborhood in garissa ,a village in Kenya , and when they moved in to arrest Asha nothing could have prepared them for what they found out
Guess what ?!!!
Now not only was Asha not a Christian woman looking for a husband ,Asha was not even a woman ,the person they arrested was a man
This man who well called senior man
Senior man had been pretending to be Asha ,the the entire time for over a year now ,he had been using stolen photos and a fack profile to lure valnerable men and drain their bank account and he had been operating in Garissa this whole time in fact David and Elisa weren't his only victim
Police also confirmed that he had scammed over a dozen men using this same method and was beloved to have stolen millions of shillings
Senior man wan arrested in November 2024 and charge to court for fraud and identity theft,but the real Damage was emotional thought they had found love a second chance and the future instead they were tricked by their fellow man wasn't a good idea ,
The police still take up with the investigation to know how many people senior man have scammed with his fake identity,
What they discovered was terrifying,
Senior man who were pretending to be Asha have been scamming people all over the world include ,two report from USA ,one from London ,and other from some African countries which he did not mention ,
After the whole investigation,
He was now asked how did he tricked those men in terms of calling and chatting without them know he is a Man
That is the interesting part of the story,
Asha used a voice changer app to convert his voice while taking with his Client's ,
And he also reviewed that he only did this work for a living ,what a terrible experience ?
Senior man also pleaded for guilty and he was charged for 21 years in prison or the fine of 10,000 dollars to pay .
