Chapter 79 - GTAG Chapter 79 Proliferated Organism

GTAG Chapter 79 Proliferated Organism

Godzilla still wanted to see how humans planned to rebuild a ruined planet.

But that was for later. For now, what mattered most was the purge.

Under Godzilla's watch, the Sentinels quickly stripped away everything of value.

As Godzilla sorted through his harvest, one of his secondary brains picked up a strange signal.

It was odd. The pulse carried a resonance that felt very much like Godzilla himself—yet also… different.

Inferior.

It was like sensing an echo of Godzilla from long before his evolution through the G-Cells, something crude and incomplete.

A thought struck him: could this be blood he had shed, grown to a certain size, and now detected by his secondary brain?

After all, unlike other kaiju, those spawned from proliferated G-Cells were essentially fragments of himself. Weak, yes—pathetically so compared to the true Godzilla—but still his offspring of sorts.

Once he confirmed the general location, Godzilla dispatched the restless Electrobeast to investigate, then put the matter aside.

Having seized a collection of viruses from Umbrella's base, Godzilla delivered them all to the Monster Factory for analysis.

The results were astonishing. New viral strains were uncovered—and among them, the progenitor virus itself.

Satisfied, Godzilla recalled the Blades and Sentinels still lingering in the Resident Evil world.

The sudden return of so many organisms filled the lifeless undersea temple with activity.

What had once been a vast, empty domain now swarmed with processions of Sentinels, each carrying, carving, or building.

With their return, construction accelerated. The temple's outlines solidified and structures rose rapidly.

At its heart, the Sentinels erected a colossal shrine dedicated to Godzilla himself.

Pleased with their progress, Godzilla turned his focus back to the viruses.

Research was a misnomer. What he truly did was devour.

For G-Cells, even the most intricate and hostile compounds became simple nourishment.

After consuming every viral sample, including the progenitor, the G-virus within him grew far more ferocious.

With nothing pressing left, Godzilla shifted his attention back to designing new kaiju models.

Half a month passed.

The Electrobeast, following orders, successfully tracked down the proliferated organism.

But it wasn't what Godzilla had imagined—a wild growth hidden in some forgotten corner of the world.

No. This one was man-made.

Guided by Godzilla's will, the Electrobeast left the ocean, crossing into human territory. Its path through several cities left chaos in its wake before it reached a desert.

There, amidst endless dunes, the Electrobeast pinpointed the source.

Even without Godzilla's direct guidance, it could feel the organism's presence.

Landing above the site, the creature raked its claws through the sand.

Anywhere else, it would have dug deep quickly, but sand was too unstable. No matter how hard it worked, progress was shallow.

Frustrated, the Electrobeast launched into the air, flipped upside down, and fired its electromagnetic cannons wildly into the desert below.

But the subterranean lab was either buried too deep, or its aim and power weren't enough. Blast after blast struck only sand.

When its energy reserves were finally drained, the beast reluctantly ceased fire. It dared not return empty-handed, so it lingered, circling the desert ominously.

Inside the laboratory, alarms wailed. Panic erupted.

They all knew—if the Electrobeast discovered the facility, none of them would escape.

Angry voices rose.

"It's that monster we created! It must have drawn this thing to us. I told you, we opened Pandora's box! Disaster was inevitable, but you wouldn't listen!"

The nation behind the project was equally desperate. The lab contained countless resources and years of work. Its loss was unthinkable.

Some even proposed deploying nuclear weapons against the Electrobeast.

A small warhead might not kill it, but it could drive it away. And out here in the desert, they had the freedom to use something stronger.

When the Electrobeast began clawing downward, fingers hovered over launch buttons.

But when it gave up, thwarted by the sand, relief swept through the facility.

Now curiosity replaced fear.

How had the Electrobeast found this place? Did monsters truly sense each other?

Ridiculous. Impossible.

They preferred to believe it had simply followed a scent.

For the first time, the world saw the Electrobeast fully revealed. Videos flooded the internet, especially from the cities it had passed through. Governments tried to erase them, but deletion was futile.

One video, the most viewed of all, had been filmed directly beneath the monster.

The reckless driver who captured it sped beneath the towering beast just to record the footage.

If not for the Electrobeast's complete indifference to humans, that man—and many others—would have died a hundred times over.
