"Of course, Headmaster Dumbledore." Arthur nodded, lowering his hand.
"Then can we dig them out?" Ludo Bagman asked.
Arthur shrugged helplessly: "It's not like you can't take pictures while buried in the ground. Do as you please."
"Hmm..." Ludo Bagman looked at Arthur, who seemed ready to fight if provoked, then at Dumbledore, who stood behind him, aloof. He decided it was best to be pragmatic.
"Let's leave it at that. As Mr. Morgan said, you can still take pictures while buried. But who will take the pictures for us?"
"I will." Arthur naturally took the camera, and after everyone was in position, he pressed the shutter.
A small matter, quickly concluded. Not even a proper rumor spread. After the photos were taken, and Sirius and Arthur finished their work, everyone returned to the Great Hall and found their seats.
Kayson smiled as he watched this scene: "So everything's resolved, right?"
"Evidently, yes." Sirius smiled: "Now Rita Skeeter is still buried at the school gate."
"Then there's no problem." Kayson nodded: "This is her second time being buried."
"Who did it the first time?" Sirius asked a silly question.
Kayson smiled without speaking.
"I think I know." Sirius pursed his lips.
A brief dinner ended, and Kayson returned to his office, accompanied by Cedric and Harry, who Cedric had practically dragged along.
"So... Harry, you're here for... private tutoring?" Kayson asked Harry.
Harry nodded: "Mhm mhm mhm!"
"..... I don't think you're particularly suited... You're more suited to Professor Flitwick or specializing in Dark Arts with Sirius." Kayson stroked his chin, then thoughtfully said after a long pause.
"Why?" Harry said with a bitter face.
"How should I put it? Alchemy is a discipline that requires a lot of patience, especially my kind of Alchemy. You can ask Cedric how long it took him to hand-craft his first mechanical joint." Kayson said.
Harry looked at Cedric, who gazed at the ceiling: "About two days? Because joints are different from other things; they're much more intricate than ordinary bones. And it gets even harder when you're making a spine."
"That's it. Harry, you're very smart, but your personality is too restless. I'm not saying you're not suitable for Alchemy; I mean, learning Alchemy with your personality would be very painful. In contrast, learning Dark Arts, magic that provides quick gratification, would be much more comfortable for you." Kayson explained.
"But Professor, that's Dark Arts!" Harry said, somewhat surprised.
"The classification of Dark Arts isn't that narrow. Some magic that isn't strongly linked to emotions but is incredibly destructive is also considered Dark Arts. That's the kind I want you to primarily learn."
"Oh... alright." Harry sat on the sofa, pouting and hugging his arms, feeling sulky.
While sulking, he also had to watch Kayson instruct Cedric on attaching a mechanical arm. He rarely felt like his favorite person and things were being stolen.
Firstly, Professor Kayson was being'stolen' by Cedric, and Cedric was now a true Hogwarts star, while he was merely a 'villain who used petty tricks to become a champion' in other people's mouths.
Even though Professor Kayson had said he was framed, those Little Wizards who disliked him still deliberately spread this so-called'surface truth'.
And on the other hand, the first kind of magic he witnessed when he entered the magic world, or rather, was led into it—the unextinguishable candle Kayson conjured with Alchemy—was now also'stolen'.
He was now a Little Wizards without Alchemy talent, while Cedric, who had'stolen' his Professor, just happened to possess this so-called Alchemy talent.
At this moment, Harry felt like he had been double-cuckolded, or to put it more bluntly.
He felt as if his parents' love had all been transferred to his newly born 'brother'.
Although he was already the unfavored child when he lived with his aunt.
Kayson, who was passively becoming a 'central air conditioner', was completely oblivious to Harry's little thoughts. While attaching the mechanical arm to Cedric, he even had time to use the mechanical arm to brew Harry a pot of lemon tea.
"Professor, I'm leaving." Harry, feeling that his timing was off, eventually left the alchemy office.
Cedric, sprawled on another sofa, turned his head dryly: "I'm very sorry, Professor."
"What are you sorry for?" Kayson asked, surprised.
"Actually, I should apologize to both of you, you and Harry." Cedric said, somewhat awkwardly.
".....Are you infected by Dumbledore? Why are you being a riddle-speaker?" Kayson frowned.
"Harry must have been very sad just now." Unlike the oblivious and busy Kayson, Cedric clearly sensed Harry's aggrieved little emotions.
"Little Wizards this age all have these emotions. I used to have a younger brother. When he was born, my parents would call out'son', and even though I knew they were calling me, I'd deliberately not answer. Everyone has these unreasonable little emotions, and they come and go quickly." Kayson explained.
"But Professor, aren't you an orphan?" Cedric asked, puzzled.
"I made that up to tease you."
"Why don't we say something true?" Cedric said, somewhat speechless.
"We can."
"Then I'll go first." Cedric said, with mutual understanding: "I'm not the most outstanding student at Hogwarts. There are many older students who are much better than me, but they clearly aren't interested in the Triwizard Tournament, so I just picked up the slack."
"Then I'll also say something true." Kayson cleared his throat: "Actually, I wasn't deliberately pretending not to hear at first. It's just that they called out'son' once, and I thought it was me, but it was actually my brother. Because of that, I got emotional and deliberately pretended not to hear."
"Professor, aren't you an orphan?" Cedric said, speechless once again.
"This is another private lesson I'm giving you. Don't say too many truths; nobody wants to hear them." Kayson raised an eyebrow and said.
