"Then what should I give?" Sirius leaned back on the sofa, looking lost and helpless.
"You ask me, who should I ask? But it's not impossible, you could choose to go directly to Durmstrang and drown Karkaroff by dunking his head in a toilet, and then you come back and chew up Peter Pettigrew. That way, you could directly tell Harry the truth, but you'd need to withstand Harry's zero-frame first move, and then eloquently explain all sorts of problems and truths to him."
"But at least in my opinion, Harry finding the last remaining family member in this world on Christmas Day should be considered... a great gift, don't you think?" Kayson said.
Sirius, however, remained gloomy: "Dumbledore already has arrangements. He'll only start his net when Karkaroff comes to England and steps onto Hogwarts' land, and most people don't even know where Durmstrang is."
"Uh... alright." Kayson sighed helplessly.
"What gift are you planning to give Harry?" Sirius asked.
"I gave him a special earplug, one that automatically filters out sarcasm and insults. Harry will always need it when he's with his aunt and uncle," Kayson said.
"That's truly creative... You know, what if I just give him some Galleons?"
"He doesn't lack them."
"..... I've got it!" One second ago, Sirius was lying on the sofa, and then he suddenly reacted.
"Even if you've thought of something, you can't jump around like a monkey. Can't you just... act like a human?" Kayson said, exasperated.
"But I really did think of something, you know, during our student days, the four of us once... no, it should be three. That coward couldn't do anything at all; he was purely just a name."
"That thing is called the Marauder's Map. I should have thought of it long ago. That Marauder's Map was made by me, James, and Remus. It depicts the terrain of Hogwarts and all the secret passages. It's perfect for nighttime excursions. Harry will definitely love this gift."
Sirius said excitedly.
"Can you still find that map? Or did you take it home with you?" Kayson asked.
"We left the map at Hogwarts. It's easy to find. Are there any Little Wizardss among the current students who are very mischievous but rarely get caught on nighttime excursions?"
Kayson thought for a moment, and almost instantly, he found those two.
The Weasley Twins. Based on their personalities, if they didn't go out at night, he wouldn't believe it even if he thought with his knees. Yet, he rarely heard of them losing points for nighttime excursions, or perhaps they never lost points for it at all, at least in his memory. And coincidentally, they also chose to stay at school this Christmas.
"Are you saying those two are able to repeatedly defeat Mr. Filch during their nighttime excursions because of the Marauder's Map?" Kayson asked.
"At least ask them. There's no harm in it. You can even have them give the map to Harry, as a favor to them."
"Not necessarily. The Twins might not have it. Similarly, even if they do, giving the map is still up to the Twins' wishes."
Kayson pulled out a slate that recorded the names and magic of every Little Wizards, and tapped on one of the Weasley Twins. Soon, they appeared before Kayson, sailing their names.
As for Sirius, he had already transformed into a dog, lying on the carpet, squinting his eyes, pricking up his ears, and whimpering.
"What's the matter, Professor?"
Kayson's old face flushed. After all, this act of asking for an Alchemy tool from students was a bit undignified, and what's more, he was asking for an Alchemy tool for another Little Wizards. Wasn't that just setting people up?
It was only because the Twins had good personalities; most people wouldn't be so generous.
"Ahem, this is quite awkward to talk about, to be honest. Do you two have an item called the Marauder's Map?"
The Twins looked at each other: "We think you might be talking about this."
One of the Twins pulled out a somewhat old piece of parchment from his pocket and spread it on the office desk. The other pulled out his wand, pointed it at the Marauder's Map, and said, "I solemnly swear that I am up to no good."
Soon, lines of ink, as if appearing out of thin air, and numerous footprints appeared on the old parchment. Each footprint had a small box with the name of the footprint's owner.
"Professor, why are you suddenly talking about this?"
"Let me guess, you're also going to use this to do bad things?"
"Steal Professor Dumbledore's wine?"
"Joke's on you, I don't even need a map to steal his wine. I can succeed blindfolded," Kayson couldn't help but say.
".... Professor, did you just say something you shouldn't have?" The Weasley Twins asked awkwardly.
"..... Nothing, uh..... I called you here because I wanted to buy this map from you. Christmas is coming soon, and a relative of Harry's asked me to give him a gift on their behalf."
Kayson said awkwardly.
The Twins exchanged glances: "Mmm-hmm, we think Harry will like this gift."
With that, they pushed the Marauder's Map towards Kayson.
"No, no, my gift is already prepared. And that elder who's giving Harry this gift doesn't need any favors, so this map should be given under your names," Kayson explained.
"... Oh... that's fine too."
Kayson nodded, pulled a small bag full of Galleons from under the desk, and placed it on the table.
"Help me get a brandy from the Three Broomsticks. The rest is your running errands money."
One of the Twins picked up the money bag and weighed it: "I have to say, Professor."
"Hearing this sound, the more we look at you, the more handsome you seem."
Kayson coughed: "Keep talking nonsense and I'll keep the money."
"Oh, no need for that, really." The Twins quickly refused, then swiftly left the office.
"Mmm-hmm, it's that simple," Kayson said to Sirius.
"Will they really give the map to Harry?" Sirius asked after transforming back into a human.
"My goodness, even if you don't believe Kaisen Heath, you have to believe the Weasleys, right? Don't you trust their family values?" Kayson said, exasperated.
"Uh..... you're right, I guess." Sirius scratched his head awkwardly.
