It had been a while since Dumbledore and Lupin's reputations were last tarnished.
Kayson leisurely sat on the sofa, basking in the sunlight streaming through the French windows, watching Sirius diligently working nearby. He felt that life had reached a truly blissful state.
He had a job he loved, harmonious relationships with his colleagues, adorable Little Wizards, and a boss who, despite a penchant for manipulation, paid well. Moreover, people were eager to help him with the farm work he had taken on.
"Wonderful!"
Ding-a-ling...
As the crystal ball on the desk lit up, Kayson didn't move a muscle. A force field expanded from him, pressing the crystal ball down.
Soon, the four Little Wizards rowed their way from the door to stand before him.
"Professor, guess what we've been up to, since we haven't come to see you after class for so long," Harry said with a shy smile.
"Bring it out, let me see. There's tea in the cabinet, still green tea," Kayson straightened up, watching the four small boxes the Little Wizards placed one by one on the coffee table.
As for what was inside the boxes, he knew without a doubt that they contained Withering Charms. Otherwise, these Little Wizards wouldn't have come to him to claim credit.
Actually, it shouldn't be said that it was the Little Wizards; it should just be Hermione. After all, compared to the unreliable trio of Harry, Neville, and Ron, Hermione had a sense of shame and wouldn't do anything too unprincipled.
Kayson looked at the four Withering Charms. The miniature Withers inside were silently roaring. Although the craftsmanship of the outer shell wasn't great, the core Wither inside was complete. It was just Ron's Withering Charm's outer shell...
"Hmm... While the craftsmanship isn't great... it's usable. However, Ron, although I privately told you that you could slightly reduce the amount of gold, you should still find similar materials for substitutes, like brass. You... did you melt down soda cans? Is this cast from molten tin?"
Ron scratched his head, a little embarrassed: "I really couldn't find any brass in the school."
"You can ask your twin brothers; they have everything," Kayson returned the Withering Charms to the four of them. Just then, Neville had finished brewing the tea, poured a cup for Kayson, and pushed it over.
"Thank you."
"So, Professor, what about what you promised me?" Harry asked, leaning in with a grin.
"Tomorrow, I'll find people in the Great Hall to help me clear out the Dementors. All of you raise your hands. As for who I call upon, I will make my own decision," Kayson said, taking a delightful sip of tea.
"Then Professor, who else are you planning to find?" Harry asked.
"Besides you, there are a few other Little Wizards whose parents haven't signed the permission slip. I plan to call on all of them," Kayson replied.
"Oh... So, Professor, did we pass?" Hermione asked, her eyes sparkling.
"You passed. Why?"
"Well, Professor Snape seemed to be in a bad mood during his Potion Class these past two days," Hermione said awkwardly.
Kayson immediately caught the key point in Hermione's words: "Oh, have you been losing a lot of points from Snape recently?"
The four Little Wizards nodded, a little embarrassed.
"Gryffindor deducted forty, isn't it…?" Kayson accidentally mispoke mid-sentence, seeing the horrified expressions of the four Little Wizards, he quickly waved his hand and corrected himself: "Add forty points, Gryffindor adds forty points."
The four Little Wizards breathed a sigh of relief: "Thank you, Professor. Please don't mispeak next time; it's too scary."
"Uh-huh... Want to stay a bit longer?"
The four Little Wizards shook their heads in unison: "No, Professor, we still have Potion Class this afternoon... He... Oh my goodness..."
As the four Little Wizards left, Sirius came trotting over, carrying a small gardener's bag on his back.
"Um... Professor, what is Bruce...?" Neville looked curiously at the small bag on Bruce's back.
"Yes, that's right. Your gentle Alchemy Professor is gone forever. The one sitting before you now is Professor Kayson, who even makes passing dogs help with work."
"Understood, Professor." Neville nodded, then quickly patted his companions' backs. At that moment, they looked as if they wished they could sprout ten or eight more legs on the spot.
Kayson shrugged. He took out another teacup and poured a cup of tea for Sirius.
"Try it."
"Is there any alcohol?" Sirius asked.
"You know where the alcohol is."
Sirius nodded and walked towards the liquor cabinet. He took another glass.
"Hey, wait, two," Kayson quickly said.
Sirius shrugged and took out another glass.
Soon, both sat on the sofa, slowly drinking. It wasn't until the next morning that Kayson got out of bed, splashed water on his face, and checked the time.
"Very good, it's just in time for breakfast," he said, then changed clothes and used Ender Teleportation to appear in the Great Hall.
He went from long table to long table, promoting his Dementor-clearing job like a salesman. He only needed Little Wizards who had successfully crafted a Withering Charm and didn't have a parent's signature. Of course, they also needed to be third-year or above; this was another hard requirement besides the Withering Charm.
Soon, after visiting all four long tables, he successfully found three eligible Little Wizards: Harry Potter from Gryffindor, Jincent from Ravenclaw, and Alia from Slytherin.
There were no Hufflepuff students. This wasn't because Hufflepuff students hadn't made Withering Charms, but because all Hufflepuff students had parental signatures.
As for the few, they had all discussed it beforehand; they were the kind whose families wouldn't sign. However, their parents were likely different from Harry's. Harry's aunt and uncle purely did it to spite Harry, while the other two sets of parents did it for their children's safety.
"Alright everyone, follow me into battle! Before that, I need to inspect your Withering Charms. Take them out." Kayson reached out and collected the three Withering Charms, confirming that there were no flaws in the outer shells and that the Withers' conditions were normal. Only then did he return the Withering Charms to the Little Wizards.
"Alright, Little Wizards, charge with me!" Kayson beckoned to the Little Wizards. The next moment, a force field enveloped them, and an Ender Teleportation was activated, directly appearing outside the Hogwarts territory.
"Stay with me and don't fall behind. Our mission is to expel any Dementors approaching Hogsmeade Village as much as possible."
"By the way, Professor, we're using Withers to expel Dementors, but what about your Withering Charm?"
"Oh, I'll be fine with whatever," Kayson said, pulling out Soul Sand and a Wither Skeleton Head, and directly leading a large Wither, walking in front.
The three Little Wizards behind Kayson looked at the large creature in front and then at the small ones in their hands.
