After dinner, Kayson hummed a tune as he walked towards his office, then heard a thunder-like sound behind him.
He looked back and saw a panting Hagrid running towards him.
"What's wrong?" Kayson asked, scratching his head.
"Kayson, you have to help me! Buckbeak can't be imprisoned for life; that would be worse than killing her! She loves freedom so much!" Hagrid said, sobbing.
"...Didn't Tonks already tell you the solution?"
"What solution?" Hagrid asked.
"It's nothing, just ask Lupin when you have time."
"Then Kayson, can you talk to Malfoy and ask their family to drop the charges against Buckbeak? All those Little Wizards respect you so much, and Malfoy is the same," Hagrid pleaded further.
Kayson rubbed the bridge of his nose helplessly: "First, Hagrid, I might be a good choice, but I'm definitely not at the point where I can influence a family's decisions."
"Moreover, even if I could make Draco withdraw his charges, I wouldn't do it. That's Draco's right, and it's the right of all Little Wizards at Hogwarts. If they encounter prejudice or targeting from a Professor at school, this is a last resort for the Little Wizards."
"Even if Draco was only spit on by Buckbeak, this precedent cannot be set. If today I persuade Draco to drop the charges because we are in the right, perhaps in a long time, there will be a scumbag Professor who did something wrong, and he will also use privileges from Hogwarts or some other means to force the Little Wizards to drop the charges," Kayson explained with a sigh.
"Then Buckbeak..."
Kayson rubbed his face helplessly: "Where is Buckbeak being held now?"
"Forbidden Forest... Why?" Hagrid said, wiping the corner of his eye.
"Take me there."
Although Hagrid didn't know what Kayson was up to, he still led him to the clearing.
Buckbeak was tied with a thick rope, the other end of which was fastened to a large tree.
"Look at her... how pitiful she is. She loves freedom so much, but now..." Hagrid looked at Buckbeak tied to the tree and once again couldn't control himself, wiping the corner of his eye.
Kayson picked up the rope helplessly, and then a cough came from the shadows.
"magic will be detected by the Ministry of Magic, you know." Tonks and Lupin ambled out from the shadows of the Forbidden Forest.
"So?"
"A saw. Or a Sandstorm Charm, pick one." Tonks pulled out her wand, while Lupin on the other side fumbled around and pulled out three saw blades from who knows where.
"Uh....."
Kayson looked at Lupin and Tonks speechlessly, then he calmly picked up the rope, which was as thick as an adult's fist, and gave it a slight tug.
Bang!
The rope snapped.
"What the heck!"
"Huh!"
Lupin and Tonks' eyes nearly popped out, staring blankly at the rope Kayson had torn apart with his bare hands.
"Kayson, tell me the truth, did you do some weird human Alchemy experiment on yourself again?" Lupin asked, taking a deep breath.
"Do you really think my blocks have no weight?" Kayson rolled his eyes, casually conjured a golden cube, and threw it towards Lupin. Lupin instinctively reached out to catch it, then was immediately pulled to the ground by the immense weight of the golden cube, successfully embracing Mother Earth.
"Uh... I always thought you used the Levitation Charm." Lupin struggled for a long time before he managed to pull his hand out from under the gold.
Meanwhile, Tonks was already emptying her Undetectable Extension Charm pouch. Just as she was about to put the pouch over the gold, Kayson walked over and directly collected the gold.
"..." Tonks awkwardly put the items she had just thrown out back into her Undetectable Extension Charm pouch.
"All right, you're free. Go find food in the wild, and don't spit for no reason. If you encounter someone with a bad temper, you'll end up as Super Big Wings directly." Kayson said, pulling off the rope tied around Buckbeak's neck.
Of course, whether Buckbeak could understand this was unknown.
But at least it seemed to have understood...
Because Buckbeak nodded in a very human-like manner, and couldn't help but move further away from Kayson, only relaxing a little after hiding behind Hagrid.
"Is there anything else, Hagrid?" Kayson asked.
"There shouldn't be anything else.... Oh, right, thank you all. I need to prepare food for Buckbeak to fly far away now; she'll be hungry....." Hagrid was still shedding little pearls of tears as he walked towards his house.
"Alright... So... Is there anything else?" Kayson looked at Lupin and Tonks after Hagrid and Buckbeak had walked away.
"I thought you would just tell Hagrid directly. I didn't expect you to get involved personally."
Tonks scratched her head awkwardly: "Although it's impolite to say so, and my relationship with Hagrid is good, objectively speaking, Hagrid is indeed too.... honest."
"Oh.... Hmm, you're right. I won't bother you anymore. Bye." Kayson said, then immediately used Ender Teleportation to leave.
".....Did he misunderstand something?" Lupin felt that what Kayson said before he left was a bit strange. He immediately asked.
"Nothing. I'll take you to see a secret base I had in the Forbidden Forest when I was in school. I remember there's also a magical place there; I call it the Secret Forest." Tonks ignored Lupin's emotionally intelligent remark and instead pulled Lupin, continuing deeper into the Forbidden Forest.
"You secretly trespassed into the Forbidden Forest when you were in school!" Lupin said, surprised.
"Oh my goodness, can you focus on what's important!"
"This is not allowed at Hogwarts..... Although I wasn't exactly a good student back then, I'm a Professor now, so I have the right to say that."
"My Merlin....."
Back in his office, Kayson looked at the pile of assignments that had unknowingly grown thicker, then blankly glanced at Sirius licking his fur in the corner.
A dog that can dance, can drive a boat, and drive it well... So, can he grade assignments?
