"I remember you're Luna, Luna Lovegood, right?"
Kayson looked at the little girl in front of him, standing in the middle of the corridor, wearing a lion hat, with one foot bare, looking up at a shoe hanging from the chandelier.
"That's right, it's me," Luna said, turning her head.
Kayson nodded, reached out and used a picking magic, taking the shoe hanging from the chandelier out of thin air.
"Here." He returned the shoe to Luna, who quickly put it on.
"Someone bullied you… otherwise, your shoe wouldn't have grown wings and flown up there," Kayson said.
"Perhaps this counts as bullying, but I forgive them," Luna said softly.
"Hmm… why?" Kayson asked.
"I feel sorry for them. Too many Wrackspurts are buzzing around them, and no one can be in a good mood, and they didn't do anything wrong, did they? Maybe they just wanted to practice my Levitation Charm," Luna explained.
"That's not the responsibility of the Levitation Charm; that should be the responsibility of Accio," Kayson retorted.
"Perhaps… you also have many Wrackspurts on your head, far more than all of theirs combined."
"Yes, adults always have many worries," Kayson said, feeling a bit helpless.
"Why aren't you curious?" Luna asked.
"Curious about what?" Kayson asked, sitting directly on the Iron Golem platform by the corridor.
"Why aren't you curious about what Wrackspurts are? Everyone before always asked me what Wrackspurts were, even though they couldn't see them, they always tirelessly asked that question."
"Can only you see these Wrackspurts?"
"Hmm."
"Then perhaps it's because we're similar, because I can also see things others can't." Saying this, Kayson took off the monocle from above his eye and handed it over.
Luna carefully held it in her hand after taking it, looking at Kayson with some curiosity: "What does MC mean?"
"Who knows? Maybe it's my talent," Kayson explained.
"Then your talent is truly unique."
"Indeed, logically speaking, you shouldn't have even heard of it."
"Mm-hm…" Luna nodded, no longer saying anything, but instead softly hummed a song.
"Do you need me to accompany you to Professor Flitwick?"
Luna shook her head: "Thank you for your kindness, but I really don't need it, because they can't cause any harm to my body or mind, it's just a prank."
... Kayson was a bit silent. He remembered that Professor Flitwick said Luna Lovegood was overly strong on his birthday last year. At the time, he only thought it was strength in the ordinary sense.
But he didn't expect it to be this kind, a strength that could be called transcendent.
In fact, it couldn't even be called strength; the word strength didn't fit Luna. A more wondrous word was needed to describe her.
In short, the Luna in front of him was almost the most Luna Luna Kayson had met in his two and a half years at Hogwarts.
Forgive his strange phrasing, but he really didn't know what word to use to describe her.
"Professor, may I leave?" Luna asked, staring directly at Kayson with wide eyes.
"I wasn't stopping you. Please, go ahead," Kayson said, stepping aside.
As Luna skipped back to the Ravenclaw Tower, Kayson also returned to his office.
The first thing he did upon returning was to pull out a piece of parchment and send a letter to Penelope, the Ravenclaw Prefect, asking her to come here when she had time.
Luna's shoe was hung on the chandelier, and that chandelier was a very regular circular chandelier. It would be a pipe dream to throw a shoe up there using only a Levitation Charm or physical throwing.
And being able to hang a shoe up there would require precise control of Accio or even more refined magic control.
Regardless of the outcome, the person using these spells should be much stronger in magic than Luna.
He had previously followed Dumbledore's advice not to make decisions for others, but encountering such a suspected case of older students bullying younger ones, it was no longer him making a decision for Luna, but his own choice.
He could selectively ignore mutual attacks between students of the same year and level, or even multiple-on-one attacks.
However, a Little Wizards who knowingly chose to pull out their wand and attack someone weaker than themselves absolutely needed to be disciplined.
Not long after, Penelope arrived at the office.
Although Kayson had said in the letter to come whenever she was free, Penelope still dropped what she was doing, leaving Percy, with whom she was supposedly in a relationship, and came here immediately.
"Professor…" Penelope, standing in front of the desk, once again looked at the large machine behind her and asked with some surprise: "Is this also… Alchemy?"
Kayson nodded: "Be glad this isn't in your curriculum. Don't worry, do you know Luna Lovegood? She's a second-year Little Wizards in your Ravenclaw."
Penelope subconsciously looked up at the ceiling, and soon she remembered: "Ah yes, a bit of a strange Little Wizards, a bit… not very good at making friends? Of course, it's not necessarily that she's unwilling; it's mainly that she always says strange things, and some Little Wizardss are a bit afraid of her."
"Is anyone bullying her within Ravenclaw, or rather… are there any Little Wizardss who like to play those low-quality pranks?" Kayson continued to ask.
"Hmm… there are indeed two. They are roommates and also biological sisters. We usually call them the Grey sisters. Their pranks, to be honest, are quite tasteless, but they don't have bad intentions; they just… aren't very smart, they only care about playing and don't think about other people's feelings," Penelope said, trying to defend the Grey sisters.
"Today, on my way back to the office, I ran into Luna. Her shoe was hanging from the chandelier on the ceiling. Go ask the Grey sisters if they did it. If they don't tell you, then ask Luna," Kayson said.
"Then Professor, why not ask Luna directly?"
"It's best not to ask about such things if possible. Is it fun to make victims relive bad memories? Of course, if necessary, one still has to ask, and then I won't overstep my bounds; I'll just tell Professor Flitwick directly," Kayson added.
[I'm very sorry, my dear readers, I have some private matters on the fifteenth, so I'm taking a leave…]
[Definitely not drinking, trust me.]
