HISD Chapter 111 Daughter of Zeus, Villainess Cheetah
"The price I offered… it couldn't handle."
The silver-haired young man's words had barely fallen when—
Crack!
A jagged fracture split across the surface of the crystal stone.
At the same time—
"Aaaahhh!"
The pale man collapsed on the ground, clutching his head in agony as if it were about to split open.
"Trevor!"
Diana rushed forward, only to watch in horror as his familiar features shifted and blurred into something strange and unfamiliar. Through the pain, he forced out with clarity, "My name… isn't Trevor…"
Diana's heart trembled violently. In that moment, she knew she had lost something forever.
"Yi… Meng!!"
She spun around, her beautiful eyes burning with fury—only for her pupils to shrink in shock.
The once flawless silver-haired youth, clad in his dark combat suit, suddenly swelled and expanded. In an instant, his frame grew from one meter eighty to over two meters tall. Muscles rippled as though forged from molten steel. His handsome face was concealed beneath a grim, bone-like mask. Jagged white spikes burst from his fists and back.
His mouth stretched into a manic grin, and scarlet light blazed from his eyes like real flames. A suffocating aura of final destruction swept across the world.
Compared to the storm raging above the city, this being alone embodied doomsday.
"It's you!!"
Diana's lips parted in shock. Even though his form had changed, she recognized him instantly—the same bone-spiked monster who had descended to Earth four years ago and slain the Old Sea God.
"This is the power of the Old Gods? That's it?"
The Ancient Doomsday Yi Meng stared coldly at the cracked crystal stone.
Earlier, he had tried to wish himself into becoming a Doomsday Superman. It seemed successful—his monstrous body had taken on a human guise, free from the destructive will, while still wielding Doomsday's powers.
But in truth, the Old Gods' magic had only tried to suppress Doomsday's genetic evolution, not grant true transformation. His destructive will remained untouched. All the stone had done was wrap that lie in a glamour of sorcery.
Worse, the stone demanded half of Yi Meng's Doomsday power in payment.
The Old Gods had plotted well.
Yi Meng, however, offered everything without hesitation—handing over his Doomsday power completely.
The reason he had danced with Diana just moments earlier was nothing more than him suppressing the urge to crush the stone outright.
The result? Boring.
The Old Gods could not accept the cost he offered. Even if Yi Meng hadn't resisted, they were incapable of absorbing that power. The wishing stone itself collapsed under the weight of his essence.
The wish failed. The stone cracked. All other wishes unraveled in turn.
Buzz—
Ahead, a sacred golden light flared.
Diana slowly rose to her feet. Her white gown shifted and dissolved into crimson armor. A silver crown gleamed upon her brow. Her heels reshaped into divine boots. Golden bracers encased her arms.
She gripped a silver longsword in her right hand, an ancient shield in her left. The arsenal of a champion.
Wonder Woman stood revealed in her full divine regalia.
"You… you…"
Her chest rose and fell sharply, her beautiful eyes cold and unyielding. Never before had she felt such rage—not even when she had faced Ares, the god of war. She realized she had been toyed with from the start by this alien creature.
"I swear, I will kill you!"
…
The wishing stone had always been a trap of the Old Gods. A deception.
In some twisted way, Yi Meng's actions had spared her from its grasp.
But none of that mattered now.
"Come then," Yi Meng said with a grin, his crimson eyes blazing. "Kill me. Don't disappoint me."
In this DC universe dream, as Doomsday, he needed no friends, no family. One day, he would destroy everything.
All he required… were enemies.
That was enough.
"Haah!"
Wonder Woman roared as she charged. A golden lasso of truth uncoiled from her waist, wrapping around the unconscious stranger on the ground and pulling him to safety.
Her speed was unmatched, blurring into a storm of wind. She leapt, silver sword flashing toward Yi Meng's throat.
But the blade halted with a clang, gripped in the monstrous claws of his bone-spiked hand.
She tugged with all her might, but the weapon would not budge.
"Die!"
She shifted her stance without hesitation, swinging the sword in a savage arc. The divine blade cut into his clawed fingers.
Yi Meng blinked in surprise. He could feel the sharpness of the weapon. Not many things could harm this form.
It was no ordinary blade. This was the Godkiller, the sword forged by the Olympians themselves, sharp enough to cut atoms.
But Diana was even more shaken—the blade that sliced through steel like paper had failed to sever even a single finger.
What defense could resist this? Stronger than any metal known.
She lifted her gaze, meeting his burning red eyes.
"That's all?" Yi Meng mocked.
Fury surged through her. She dropped the sword and whipped her golden lasso toward his chest.
Yi Meng let go of the sword, thrusting his hand forward. A hurricane-like shockwave erupted, hurling Diana, her sword, shield, and lasso through the air.
Whoosh—
In that instant, another figure struck.
A lithe form, tail whipping behind, dashed faster than even Diana—a blur of feline lightning. She lunged straight for the crystal clutched in Yi Meng's other hand.
"Got it!"
Cheetah—Barbara Minerva—felt the cold surface of the crystal in her grasp. Triumph filled her chest.
But the stone didn't move. No matter how she pulled, Yi Meng's grip was immovable.
Desperate, she slashed across his mask. Her claws, sharper than steel, tore the air and screeched against his bony faceplate, leaving nothing but faint white marks.
Not even a scratch.
"Little cat?"
Yi Meng's crimson gaze locked onto her. Dangling from his arm, her body taut with raw, predatory strength, she looked every inch the primal huntress.
Yet Barbara's blood froze. Terror overwhelmed her. She let go, abandoning the crystal and bolting, tail tucked low.
She understood now.
No matter how much she had transformed, no matter how powerful she had become, compared to this being, she was still nothing but a kitten.
"You want it?"
Yi Meng's lips curved cruelly. He squeezed the crystal and then flung it toward her.
It streaked through the air like lightning, wrapped in red and gold sparks, faster than any bullet.
The fleeing Cheetah never escaped.
The wishing stone pierced into her body—then shattered within her.
"AAAHHH!"
She screamed as blood erupted from her, her sprint collapsing midair. She crashed heavily to the ground.
"Barbara!"
Diana's cry rang out. She charged Yi Meng in fury, tossing her shield aside. Crossing her bracers with a clang, she unleashed a wave of divine power that exploded outward in a golden shockwave.
But at the same moment—
Yi Meng's body erupted with a sphere of destructive lightning.
The golden shockwave and the crimson storm clashed, devastating everything in the plaza.
Boom!
The skies roared with thunder. The earth erupted in fire.
When the storm cleared, a hundred-meter crater scarred the city.
Diana staggered back, arms crossed, her body trembling. She forced her eyes open—only to freeze as a bone spike pressed against her flawless forehead.
Her heart clenched as she looked up into those burning eyes again.
Those crimson flames were merciless, bottomless, a darkness so deep it could make even gods tremble.
"Daughter of Zeus… is this all?"
