It felt like I have been here for days, maybe even months, or years.
With nothing to do in this dark abyss, my mind could only wonder. I practiced the sword that I found when I woke up that day.
Melione's words kept echoing in my mind.
If you want to live, you must indure time.
Those words where possibly the only thing keeping me sane from the lonelyness that ate me up inside.
Someone save me.
Soon the black sword that I held in my hand lit up.
[System alert]
[ The Forgotten God_
Do you wish to escape from that which haunts you. ]
I stared at transparent screen, lilting my head to the side not really surprised at anything that comes my way anymore.
The Forgotten God, who is that.
...
"Yes." I answered.
[ The_Forgotten_God
"Very well."

I feel a surge of energy run through my entire body as I uncontrollably raised the sword, took a stance and cut through thin air letting a bright light consumed the darkness and me with it.

Melione's eyes widened at the sense of her capability that could not be released or tempered with by anyone, no less someone who is trapped in her abilities' force, being broken by non other then the one is imprisoned in it.
[Um you are indeed interesting, Heaven's Fallen. Let's see what other tricks you hid in you, shall we]
With great speed her legs lifted her to the young boys location, not waiting a second later she advanced high in the sky aiming with her artifact 'blood rain' at the semiconsciousness Dain.
Clack!
Swords clashed in that moment, one a powerful ___ and the other a boy who wanted to live. Melione finally got a chance to gazed at Dain's face and what she saw was different from his usual look. His once __ eyes were now of a different color.
[You seem different. It's probably those pitch black eyes you have] Melione commented.
No reaction came from Dain, only silence that was cancelled out by the noise battle.
When their blade's escaped each other's gripe, Melione took her chance to circle around Dain, creating a blood ring one of her special moves.
Dain's black pupils followed her every move to the max, not even letting the intake of her breath escape his gaze.
To use her ability she had use her own blood meaning she could not hold this fight for long. She raised her two fingers up, than retracted them to the tip of her nose as blood from her palm fell on her face.
[Blood chains] she whispered her chant.
[I said before to live you must indower time, do understand what I meant now]

Blood formed chains rained down but managed to break from it.
There was no way I would win this fight and I knew it. But my ego just wouldn't let me back down. I wanted to win.
The setting changed, giant snakes formed out of thin air attacking me all at once. I gripped the helt of the sword tighter, making my way towards the giant breast. I ran my blade along the side of the first snake, it's guts splashed.
The tail of another snake sent me flying and hitting the ground. Feeling the ack in my abondeman I grabbed ahold of my stomach.
I stood myself up, looked to the heaven's before I let out a shriveled laugh charge back into battle. I was on an adrenaline rush.
"Haha, do you think I'm done." I shout.
"No...I'm just getting started."
"Now stop dawdling and fight me for real."
[If that is what you wish Heaven's Fallen]
We went head-to-head no longer holding back. I streak me in the abondeman, once again I felt that packing pain.
"What happened to honor?"
[It's dead]
[ you understand that when you've lived as long as I have] Melione said.
"Why are you so against living." I asked.
[It takes those that you love away. It will cut you, it will burn you, drown you and break you down and they say it's the most beautiful thing you'll ever experience but those who really know, know it's far more painful. Actually dying is what is truly beautiful, to reset, to finally be at peace that's what is beautiful]
"That's still reason to hate it."
"Life is supposed to be painful that's how you know you're alive after all."
Clash!
[You speak as if you know what your talking about Heaven's Fallen]
"Your right I don't but I still believe living is far more greater than dying."
[Just wait until that life that you hold so precious breaks]
"If you hate it so much than why didn't you end it long ago?"
[I can't]
She paused for a second which gave me an opening. I aimed for her heart.
"Then let me give it to you."
...
[So this is what it feels like]
My blade was in her, I felt my blade run through her flesh but in that moment reality shattered. Her body began to fade away and her cloak finally unmasked the face behind it's wearer.
Her pale albino skin with her red eyes made her a rare beauty to be seen. A single tear sliding down her cheek.
She smiled.
...
[ Congratulations subject 18.
You have passed the final phase of the First Trial.
Compensation: 1000 coins]
I signed.
"Come out I know you're watching..."
...
"Melione."
[How did you know]
A white clad figure appeared behind me.
"Well it says here your blood ability can be also used to make clones."
...
"And you felt a lot weaker than before."
I say that but I sure had a hard time fighting her clone, I wonder if I would win if I fought her, the real her I mean. I shook my head knowing I would definitely end up a paddle of blood.
[Still doesn't tell me how you found out though]
"You also told me you can't die."
My body started to fade away just like Melione's clone did before.
[Hum, well this meeting is over but did have fun terminating you Heaven's Fallen and your take on life is interesting. Shall we meet again someday]
"Actually no, I don't want to have giant snakes attacking me again." Is what I thought in my head but didn't dear say aloud.
"Same here Mel."
[That is not my name] she tilted.
"Sorry what, I can't hear you."
