Chapter 74 — Echoes of Velocity and Time
The air around San Juan's Rainbow Bridge was shattered beyond recognition.
Reality itself was trembling — bending, twisting — as Yaya and Revo clashed inside the sealed dimension.
The space was locked in a distorted loop, fragments of time overlapping with streaks of golden and crimson lightning.
Every collision between Yaya's Cheetah Aura and Revo's Chrono Field tore through the veil of existence, sending visible shockwaves across the bridge.
Outside the rift, Moro, Kiro, Kaya, and Herbet stood watching the distortion from afar, their bodies battered but their spirits unbroken.
Moro wiped the blood from his lips, panting. "Damn… that power. She's really fighting him alone."
Kiro's aura flickered faintly like golden fire. "Yaya's not human anymore," he said grimly. "She's something else now."
Kaya, still recovering from the aftermath of her massive Water Colossum aura, clenched her fists. "She forfeited her duty as an agent… all for vengeance. She wants Kuzak's head more than anyone."
Moro narrowed his eyes. "And Revo—he's not fighting to win. He's fighting to control the timelines. To erase us if he has to."
Then, the world shook.
Inside the rift, time and speed collided at impossible velocities.
Yaya's movements blurred beyond comprehension, her aura burning bright yellow, the cheetah's silhouette roaring behind her.
Revo countered by freezing microseconds — bending them, folding the battlefield around her.
But she adapted.
Her body flickered like a mirage, punching through temporal fields, her strikes carrying both fury and freedom.
She screamed with rage, "You hid behind foresight while people DIED! You let Kuzak roam free!"
Revo grimaced, his chronoblades expanding into orbits of spinning blue light. "You think speed can beat time itself?"
"Speed defines time!" Yaya roared, appearing behind him and driving her knee into his ribs.
Revo coughed blood, his aura fracturing into shards of light that scattered into the rift.
Outside, Moro and Kaya saw flashes of the fight ripple through the air — bursts of light, fragments of screams, time distortions looping seconds.
Kiro gritted his teeth. "We need to move. That battle's tearing reality apart!"
But Moro held his hand up. "No. Let her fight it through. This is her war."
---
Inside the rift, Yaya's aura exploded in full bloom — a divine cheetah form covered her body, her eyes glowing neon gold. Her voice echoed through every layer of existence:
> "I am Yaya — Agent Two of the Shadow Monarchy.
I run for no one.
Not even time itself!"
She blitzed through Revo's barriers, punching through seconds, moments, and possibilities — every hit rewriting reality for a heartbeat.
Revo fell to one knee, gasping. His time circuits glowed violently, sparks flying from his gear.
He smirked weakly. "Incredible… your velocity transcends recorded limits. You've broken my flow of time…"
Yaya's aura crackled, golden lightning surging from her skin. "Then you understand why I can't stop."
She vanished — and appeared right in front of him, her hand glowing with dense cheetah aura.
Revo's eyes widened. He tried to rewind — but too late.
Her fist crashed through his chest.
Time itself screamed.
The sealed space shattered open — and both were thrown out of the rift, their bodies hitting the broken bridge.
---
Outside, everyone shielded their eyes as the barrier exploded.
The shockwave tore across the skyline, scattering the fog, splitting the air in two.
When the light faded, Yaya was on her knees, covered in blood but still breathing.
Revo lay a few meters away, his aura flickering, one eye glowing faintly blue.
Kaya rushed forward. "Yaya!"
But Yaya only smirked, wiping the blood from her lip. "Don't… don't come closer. It's not over."
Revo slowly stood, his wounds healing unnaturally. "You think killing me will stop what's coming?"
Moro stepped forward, his aura flaring blue. "Then tell us, Revo… what's coming?"
Revo's gaze darkened.
"The convergence. The moment all worlds collapse. Kuzak's awakening was just the spark… what's next will burn the Multilayers themselves."
Kiro's face paled. "You mean—"
Revo smiled faintly. "The Council of Ashes… is rising again."
The air turned cold.
Lightning struck the bridge again.
And as the squad stood frozen, processing his words, far away in the darkened citadel, a figure sat on a throne of shattered bones — eyes glowing crimson.
Kuzak.
He raised his spiked club, his laughter echoing through the void.
> "Good. Let the world converge.
The age of tyrants… begins again."
