Chapter 64 - FRACTURED HEAVENS

CHAPTER 64 — THE FRACTURED HEAVENS

(Moro & Kiro vs The Anachron Lord)

The air in San Juan was no longer calm—it was screaming. The skies that once shimmered with the colors of the Rainbow Bridge were now torn apart, devoured by streaks of black and gold lightning. The crowd that once roared in celebration now fled in terror as the colossal form of the Anachron Lord descended through the rift.

The being was formless yet monstrous—its body made of spiraling clocks, broken cogs, and rivers of sand flowing upward instead of down. Every tick of its movement twisted reality, freezing birds in midair and reversing the breath of the living. Its voice wasn't heard; it was felt—deep in the minds of all present.

> "Time has no master…

And yet you mortals dare to wield it."

The world went silent.

Revo appeared in midair, golden gears revolving around him as he summoned his temporal staff. "Everyone evacuate the arena!" he commanded. "This entity exists beyond the current cycle! It will erase your existence if you stay!"

But Moro stood still, fists clenched, his pendant flickering violently against his chest. Kiro stepped beside him, sword drawn, golden eye burning with the Lion's Aura.

Revo turned toward them sharply. "You two—don't even think—"

Moro interrupted, voice calm but filled with conviction. "This is our fight."

Kiro smiled faintly, resting his sword on his shoulder. "You've got your father's stubbornness, kid. Let's make sure San Juan still stands when this is over."

Revo exhaled, closing his eyes. "Then… may the gears of fate favor you."

He raised his staff and struck the ground. The arena transformed into a chrono-dome, a shimmering sphere that suspended time around them. Everything outside froze—the falling debris, the screaming citizens, the flickering lights.

Only Moro, Kiro, and the Anachron Lord remained moving inside.

---

The Clash of Timeless Titans

The Anachron Lord moved first—if "moved" could describe the way it simply became everywhere at once. Its massive arms extended through time, striking before the motion could be seen.

Moro barely ducked, his body glowing with azure light as he activated his Ultra Fusion. Kiro's sword shimmered gold as he parried an invisible strike that carved the air like thunder.

The shockwave obliterated the arena's floor, leaving them standing on suspended fragments of broken stone floating in temporal mist.

Kiro's eye glowed brighter. "He's bending causality! Don't fight what you see—fight what you sense!"

Moro nodded. His pendant pulsed—and suddenly, he saw the entire world split into fractals. The Matrix Core inside him awakened.

> [Matrix Synchronization: 34% Engaged]

Power flooded his veins—his energy no longer blue, but a brilliant prismatic spectrum, bending time and space in every direction. The very sight made the Anachron Lord recoil.

> "Impossible… That code was lost in the Pre-Era."

Moro clenched his fists. "I don't care what era you're from. I protect this one!"

He vanished. In less than a blink, he reappeared above the Anachron Lord's head, slamming a Matrix Burst straight down. The explosion shattered the chrono-dome, sending temporal waves across miles.

Kiro charged from below, blade glowing gold, slicing through the creature's arm in one clean motion. But the limb simply reversed back into existence.

Kiro smirked. "Figures."

The Anachron Lord spoke again, its tone distorted.

> "Time obeys me… your struggle is irrelevant."

It lifted its hand—and reality fractured. Hundreds of timelines appeared, each one showing Moro and Kiro dying in different ways. Burned. Torn apart. Frozen.

Moro gritted his teeth as he watched countless versions of himself die. The pressure was suffocating.

Kiro shouted, "Focus, boy! You're not them—you're you!"

Moro's pendant flared again, resonating with Kiro's Lion Aura. The two energies intertwined, light and gold merging into a single pulse that shattered the illusions.

For the first time, the Anachron Lord stumbled back.

> "Fusion of heart and will… Error detected."

Moro stepped forward, every breath radiating divine power. His voice roared across the dome. "Let me show you what humanity really is!"

Kiro grinned, eyes glowing fiercely. "Then let's finish this!"

---

The Final Strike

Moro and Kiro moved in perfect synchronization.

The Matrix energy fused with the Lion Aura—creating a phenomenon Revo himself had never seen: Temporal Fusion Overdrive.

Kiro slashed upward, tearing through the fabric of time itself, while Moro punched downward, channeling the full 34% of the Matrix into a Time-Break Pulse.

Their combined strike hit the Anachron Lord dead center.

The explosion wasn't of fire—it was of eras. Ancient, modern, and future moments collided in one deafening blast. The entity screamed, its massive body folding inward, imploding into a storm of gears and blue dust.

And then—silence.

The chrono-dome dissolved.

San Juan was whole again.

The people began to cheer—first a whisper, then a roar that shook the city to its foundations.

> "MORO! MORO! MORO!"

> "KIRO! THE LION GENERAL!"

Revo descended slowly from above, his cloak flowing like light itself. His face was calm, but his eyes betrayed awe.

"You two… just defied the very laws of the cosmos."

Moro smiled faintly, sweat dripping down his face. "Guess we broke the rules."

Kiro chuckled. "Or rewrote them."

Revo raised his hand. "By the authority of the Chrono Citadel, and in the name of San Juan—I declare Team A the victors of the Festival of Champions!"

The crowd erupted again. Fireworks exploded across the sky—colors brighter than the Rainbow Bridge itself.

---

The Reward

Later that evening, the Citadel's grand ballroom was filled with light and music. Warriors, nobles, and mech-lords celebrated the victory. Moro stood quietly near a window, staring at the city lights below. Kaya approached, smiling softly.

"You did it," she said. "You saved everyone."

Moro turned to her with that familiar grin. "Couldn't have done it without you."

Before Kaya could respond, Revo entered the hall, clapping his hands. "Ladies and gentlemen—our heroes have not only saved San Juan, but the timeline itself!"

He gestured, and two golden doors opened. From within, a breathtaking woman stepped forward—long silver hair flowing like starlight, eyes gleaming with pink crystal light. Her presence made every heart in the room skip.

> "This," said Revo, "is my niece—Pisya of the Chronos Line. As a token of the Citadel's eternal gratitude… she shall be granted to the victor, Moro Kim Jama."

The hall gasped. Kaya froze, her smile vanishing instantly.

Pisya approached Moro slowly, her movements like liquid grace. Her voice was soft, musical. "You are the hero of time. I am yours to serve… if you will have me."

Moro hesitated. His heart raced—something about her aura made thought itself blur. Her beauty was hypnotic, her scent intoxicating.

"I… accept," he finally said, unsure why the words even left his mouth.

Pisya smiled gently and placed her hand on his chest. The air shimmered—the bond was sealed.

Kaya's fists clenched. She turned away, tears welling in her eyes, masking her pain with a cold smile. "Congratulations… hero."

Revo watched from the balcony, a sly smirk forming on his face. "Perfect. Phase One complete."

He looked out toward the horizon, where the cracks in reality still faintly shimmered.

> "Now, with the Matrix awakened and Pisya's enchantment in place… the gears of fate will finally turn my way."

And somewhere in the shadows below, the Wolf Hunter watched, his eyes narrow, muttering under his breath:

> "So… this was the real game all along."
