"You haven't changed at all since the last time I saw you." Mikhail's grin widened slowly, the kind of smile that promised trouble.
"Honestly, I expected them to chain you up and turn you into a pretty little doll. Though, I have to admit, I like the choker. And that shirt looks very easy to tear."
He stepped closer, hand rubbing his chin as he inspected him. "That Kitty has good taste."
His golden eyes dragged over Lucien from head to toe, unhurried, as if counting each hair, every new line on his face, any flaw that wasn't there in their last meeting.
Lucien felt stripped bare under that gaze. The closer Mikhail came, the more Lucien instinctively stepped backward.
He had no gun. No blade. Nothing.
Meanwhile, Mikhail carried an aura strong enough to force an omega to their knees with a single command. Lucien could feel it pressing against him, heavy and suffocating.
