Aziel stood motionless for a long moment, watching the faint green light play across the crystalline field.
One vessel had cracked earlier, spidering into thin lines before disintegrating completely, leaving behind only the faint silhouette of what had once been human.
He folded his hands behind his back, exhaling slowly, letting the silence stretch.
'So where does that person go now, I guess I won't be knowing about that anytime soon,'
he thought.

Frickon remained beside him, eyes wide and expectant, as if waiting for praise, still oblivious to the weight of what had just occurred.
Aziel's lips twitched slightly. "You speak of it like" he said, calmly, but with a hint of something colder in his tone. "As if all the vessels have volunteered for it"
