Lucia's eyes opened slowly, adjusting to the ambient light. The touch of the Egyptian silk sheets convinced her that she was still dreaming having a dream difficult to describe.
After all, she remembered what had happened recently. She had been kidnapped, locked in a dark place, and later sold at an auction. That memory still terrified her deeply.
