Chapter 195 - Chapter 195 The Battle of The Giants

"Heh! Heh! Heh!"

Beside the burning bonfire, Leviathan, Kuina, and Brogy were cheering.

Sakura carried a barrel of liquor as large as herself and drank the fine wine inside in one go.

"Kababababa! What a spirited person!"

Brogy laughed heartily, reaching out to grab a wine barrel placed in the clearing.

The wooden barrel, easily as tall as a person, looked no bigger than a small bottle of medicine in his hand.

After draining the barrel, Brogy looked down and asked Sakura, "Can you tell me about that shrine you encountered?"

"Of course."

Sakura put down the barrel and told Brogy about meeting the Ohara scholar in the West Blue, encountering the shrine built by the Galleila, and learning the Spear of Elbaf from the will remaining on the murals.

"I see. Traces of ancient history still remain on the sea. How wonderful! Kababababa!"

Brogy let out his strange laugh again and opened another barrel of wine for a hearty drink.

It had been a hundred years since he and Dorry formed the Giant Warrior Pirates and set sail, deciding to hold their sacred duel ritual on this island, since he last heard news from his homeland.

Although the young girl before him wasn't from Elbaf, on this sea where one never knows if death or tomorrow will come first, being able to meet someone bearing the same history and the same combat skills… how could this not bring him joy?

"Then, to history!"

"To history!"

Brogy raised his barrel and clinked it with Sakura's before downing it in one go.

After that, freshly grilled dinosaur meat was placed before them.

The aroma of the fatty meat steaks made Leviathan and Kuina unable to speak coherently.

In the festive atmosphere, Brogy quickly became familiar with them, and the pirate crew members pulled him to ask about Elbaf.

But just as they were happily listening to his stories, a loud roar suddenly came from one side of the island.

Brogy's previously smiling face changed instantly, his knitted brows drooping, a sharp aura radiating from his eyes.

"Wow, Uncle Brogy, what's wrong?"

Sensing the change in the giant's spirit, Leviathan and Kuina, who had been climbing on him to play, slid down.

"This is... the look of someone heading to the battlefield, right?"

Sakura held a dinosaur steak in her left hand, taking a big bite.

"Bless me! Wait for me to return victorious and share the glory of the winner with you!"

Brogy laughed loudly, raising his hand to tighten the strap of the round shield on his arm.

With his other hand, he drew the giant axe from his waist and rushed towards the center of the island.

Sakura waved to the others behind her. "Come on, let's go take a look too."

Fisher Tiger, full and satisfied, sensed the vast, agitated spirit from the distant battlefield and silently moved to block Kuina's front.

The group passed through the forest and arrived near the volcano at the island's center.

In a large clearing, two huge figures were engaged in a passionate struggle.

The clash of the most savage power between giants made the ground tremble more and more violently.

"The sheer volume of their Haki is abnormally high. It's just... just like Sakura," Fisher Tiger, watching the battle, frowned, his gaze slanting towards the young girl beside him.

"Because I practice the combat techniques of the Giant Race. Do you want to try?" Sakura narrowed her eyes, secretly learning the giants' power application techniques.

The others, hearing her 'suggestion', shook their heads rapidly.

"Gyagagagaga, it's about time you fell, old friend!"

The giant with the long beard blocked Brogy's swinging axe with one hand while smashing his sword towards Brogy with the other.

"Kababababa, I received blessings from guests today! I must defeat you and bring back the glory!"

Brogy also became fired up, his Armament Haki burning around him, injecting into his giant axe, transforming into rumbling thunder.

Due to their enormous size, every step and jump they made caused the ground to shake, and every swing of their weapons stirred up gusts of wind.

"So strong~ Wouldn't such people be famous on the sea?" Leviathan, lying on Sakura's back, since receiving her high bounty, always liked comparing bounties with others.

"Blue Ogre Dorry, Red Ogre Brogy," Sakura tapped her head and said, "The two captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates, famous throughout the world a hundred years ago."

Fisher Tiger was startled. "They're still alive? But the World Government seems to have stopped issuing wanted posters for them."

It was worth noting that the Giant Race had always been a focus of the World Government's attention, and the Giant Warrior Pirates were not an unknown existence a hundred years ago.

The two captains were powerful figures with bounties of 100 million Berry each. The Government's cessation of their wanted posters led many to speculate they had died, and people gradually began to forget about the Giant Warrior Pirates.

"Sakura-nee, are you saying they've been fighting here for over a hundred years?" Kuina was astonished. From her perspective, she couldn't understand why former partners would engage in such a prolonged battle on this nameless island.

Sakura chuckled softly.

Of course, she knew the reason for this.

Giants were a race that valued honor. Such a character allowed them to progress smoothly on the path of Haki.

Yet, this same stubbornness could also make them fixate on minor points, becoming a weakness that enemies could exploit.

One could only say that everything carries Yin and embraces Yang… where there is gain, there must be loss.

As Sakura and the others conversed, Dorry and Brogy had already exchanged dozens of blows with their giant sword and axe.

The collision of sword skills and will erupted in waves of sound.

Although the two didn't speak, only displaying bold smiles on their faces-

It was as if countless giant mouths were roaring in fury!

At some point, dark clouds gathered in the sky, the wind blowing through the rain became mournful and wailing, and the ground, ravaged by their battle, became a scarred wasteland.

"Sun Shield!"

Boom--!

With the roars of both giants, shields wrapped in Haki smashed into each other's faces.

Finally, exhausted, they fell to the ground, their heavy breathing sounding like wind whistling through a valley.

"This time, I won, Brogy!" The giant with the long beard, Dorry, struggled to raise his giant sword, laughing breathlessly.

"Hah? Clearly, I fell later! Don't be shameless, Dorry!" Brogy, who had hosted Sakura and the others, his tea-colored beard full, also raised his giant axe, refuting unwillingly.

Simultaneously, they both swung their weapons at each other, only to have their faces hit by the other's weapon.

"Ow! You bastard!" x2

The injured Dorry and Brogy covered their faces in a remarkably similar manner, rolling on the ground.

"These two... are they idiots?" Kuina, watching their childish behavior, felt her interest in sparring with them diminish considerably.

'Brutes whose brains are full of muscles can't appreciate the elegance of us swordsmen!'

"Hahaha, aren't they quite interesting?" Sakura's lips curled into a smile as she slowly walked into the two giants' battlefield.

"Hmm? A human?" Dorry's gaze, peering through the gap in his helmet, noticed the approaching figure.

"Dorry, let me introduce you. She's a successor of the Galleila and knows the Giant Race's techniques too!" Brogy, who was leaning against a large tree to sit up, nodded towards Sakura.

"Really?!" Dorry excitedly sat upright. Meeting someone related to Elbaf after a hundred years also filled him with joy.

"Right! I am the strongest warrior of Elbaf… Dorry! What's your name?"

As soon as he introduced himself, Brogy beside him became displeased, and the two began squabbling while sitting on the ground.

"My name is Sakura. Let's talk, two captains of the Giant Warrior Pirates!"
